NoreenUG: I really hate to break up the party, but that video is from the 2015 gubernatorial election, in DELTA state. The woman was rigging for ACCORD Party (Great Ogboru), NOT APC.
I don't like APC for any reason, but Ize-Iyamu's supporters must strive to ensure they have their facts in place lest their movement is tagged a joke with cheap parlor theatrics such as this.
Here is the original video below. Check the posting date: APRIL 13, 2015.
popez: Femi falana is an embarrassment to common sense. Okay let's assume the judges received bribes, why were their doors and gates hammered down? What were the DSS officers even doing with sledge hammers? Then again,is bribery case not under the purview of the police, are those judges security threats? These are questions this shameless man ought to be asking instead pronouncing the judges guilty even before they have been charged. Sometimes I really wonder how falz copes with this man. Smh.
Maybe their gates where hammered down as they refuse the DSS entrance into their houses. Some of you are so bloody an hypocrite. Often quick to compare Nigeria with America for the good things but when you perceive something to be bad you won't dare compare Nigeria and America.
How again was Osama Bin Laden killed, care to remind us? And also remind us the court that passed him guilty of any of the crimes he allegedly committed before he was gunned down. Go on.
NextGovernor: You didn't watch that video. She wasn't comfortable and was always checking if anyone is coming. APC stole Edo state mandate and these are more evidence.
Where is your proof that this happened during the Edo election? Where is your proof that she was thumb printing for APC and not another party?
id911: Femi Falana definately didn't graduate from any law school, he must have studied hypocrisy and confusion from an approved NURTW motor park. Were those Justices terrorists that lawless SSS would go pulled down their doors and residences in the night to arrest them? Were they National Security Threat? Is it the job of SSS to handle corruption cases?
The presidency game plan is to frame up Justice Walter Onnoghen so that he won't be made Chief Justice of Nigeria since he has already been recommended by NJC. They want their lackey to be there as CJN. Very divisive, tribalistic and stupid people
This is a case of pot calling kettle black. You lot that go against the government of the day due to bigotry, nepotism and tribalism are now the one crying wolf.
Let me ask you, haven't the government denied targeting Onnoghen? Has he been arrested? Or why exactly are you crying over a non issue.
And it is funny how you have ignored the key points raised by Falana in this press release. And you say Falana didn't go to a law school, he must be a magician to have attained the level he has in this country. A case of if you can't beat them, pull them down with your mouth/fingers I guess.
The NBA that is crying like a baby were the same that was defending Ricky Tarfa. The same corrupt lawyer that is now plead bargaining. If anything, the NBA should come out and apologise to us for wanting to make us believe Tarfa was merely been witch hunted when in actual fact he was guilty.
durangokid: . please justice Ayo Salami, don't just remind us of your case because you are one of the problems we have un this country, you allowed yourself to be used, that was the beginning of gang up against PDP then which some people pointed out that early which Jonathan refused act on which eventually lead to him downfall, APC cannot make such mistake at now they are working seriously hard to consolidate their victory but tine will tell
But isn't it ironic that the same man was probed by the NJC and no wrongdoing was found in him and was asked to be reinstated but le shoeless refused to reinstate him? Or shall we omit that part as it is against you bigotry and propaganda?
Jirate: Buhari and APC people fighting Corruption is like a Pregnant Woman claiming to be a Virgin. Continue, there should be no Scared Cows.
You know what's funny about this your argument? You lot always try to make le shoeless appear as a saint but he never did bothered to probe those you have highlighted above. Only a corrupt person will try to shield corruption like le shoeless did.
The good thing is the NBA and their useless lawyers were shouting and disturbing our peace during the Ricky Tarfa case but the same Ricky Tarfa has been plead bargaining which shows despite the noise and obvious intimidation, he was guilty. Won't be surprised if the judges end up the same way.
It is the death of democracy simply because Buhari's government won't allow bribery and corruption right? Even despite ( judging by this statement) that the DSS have done the right thing here by getting arrest warrants?
ivandragon: are we to assume that the DSS has taken over the mandate of fighting corruption from the EFCC & ICPC?
if so, then I hope the cases of the present rouges in government will be given the same gestapo like treatment.
This because you have erroneously believed the DSS doesn't have the right to arrest people for bribery. The rules guiding the DSS is fortunately clear on this. Have a look at the pdf attached before to understand better.
Blue3k: Nothing to explain since it's not illegal. That's what they'll say in court after they explain how money can into possession. Since its their cash they are free to store it anywhere.
Then wait till they are in court before you pass them as innocent.
The president and DSS against what you think are not stupid. They know the implication of going against the judiciary if they do not have a concrete evidence.
Blue3k: Nothing to explain since it's not illegal. That's what they'll say in court after they explain how money can into possession. Since its their cash they are free to store it anywhere.
Well, there is an existing law on how much can be kept at home. Fact which the judge also knows.
kcnwaigbo: You are yet to prove he is corrupt. The money found in his house are less than his annual salary. Seriously what is N4m to a judge who has most likely worked for decades
You are yet to explain why the money was not kept in the bank but kept at home.
People who have been criticising DSS will soon have eggs on their face. They were quick to judge and just like the Ricky Tarfa case, they will soon be forced into auto-mute.
StepTwo: just wondering why the state chapter of APC will think Akpabio bribed a judge. it was always obvious the APC wouldnt have won the state election. so i dont see any need Akpabio would bribe anyone.
well, just my thought though.
If it was so obvious that APC stood no chance, then why the need for the thuggery Akapbio and his men exhibited?
The next few days will be interesting. And the defenders of corruption will as usual defend corruption. But just like the Ricky Tarfa case, they won't be able to talk when the idiotas they have been defending finally start to plead bargain.
Surfboard: All these stories coming out when the Judges can't defend themselves and have been denied access to visitation and you're all here applauding tyranny?
Think about it. The judiciary is society's last hope against this government and if they can treat senior judges like this, imagine how they would treat you that is shouting 'crucify him'.
I hope you brainwashed people really sit back and think cause Nigeria is falling apart before our very eyes.
The same judiciary that has been diverting and preventing justice since when? Come on na, use your head. Learn to be honest finally.
annawhite: What happened to the salary earned by the judges in question? What happened to other cases handled by the judges?....this are judges who Ave been earning salaries and making money even before the election cases?
Cos everyone is Nigeria is hungry...is everyone expected to play broke
IS THIS THE MILITARY ERA OR WHAT
Someone explain the job function of the secret policemen for me mbok
So it is their salaries that amounted to them having 32m in cash at home?
Okay, let's even assume they made that much, how come it was kept at home not in the bank?
scarface04: how are all this arrest going to make 1 dollar = 1 naira. how is it going to even put food on my table. abegiii... if I have d opp I will loot this country to the bone.
You don't deserve food in the first place if you do not know how these arrests will help the economy.
ojtech8291: Even thorough these people are corrupt but raiding their house without invitation or any formal notice is improper. The government should stopped creating too much enemies for themselves. You raided a house and you claimed to recovered such amount of money? Who kmows they went and planted it their? They should remembered that their are dealing with experienced judges. Waiting for the next part of the story.
Even though Osama bin laden is a terrorist, a killer, a fugitive raiding is hideout is wrong. But you praised it.
Eecho: I have an uncle who is a lawyer, not a SAN yet,he is a billionaire @54,he is involved in estate business,he has won many cases and was paid huge amount of money,so only buhari and his cohorts are now allowed to b rich?Buhari is a wicked soul,a bitter heart..U have recovered so much money, and so,ur aboki brothers are dying in d north as a result of hunger..So a judge cannot keep 32mil in his house,so patience Jonathan cannot own a hotel again but Dangote can build a refinery..Fuuuuck Buhari,Fuuuuck DSS,Fuuuuuck U,if u Quote me...
If I call you names, the moderators will say I break a rule. But what you have said here does it make sense to you. They can keep 32m at home? Since when? You and your lots are just sick. I don't know what you stand to gain with this needless and sense defence of corrupt bastards.
Akinwerndey: What's all this madness? DSS arresting Judges abi? Is the DSS set up for anti corruption or for intelligence gathering, maintaining internal security and eliminating potential threats to the state security? So why are agency cracking down on these Judges? We don't ask question in part of the world. PMB has turn Nigeria to a police state nd he is swimming in tyranny!
Download this PDF file, it will educate you on the roles of the DSS aka SSS
alexlee50: u no dey think? How did they know 2m dollars was in the house?
Maybe because DSS were actually in the house and money in bales are actually easy to count? $100 notes in bale is $10,000 in each bale. Which makes it 200 bales in total. 200 bales, which amounts to $2,000,000 should take 10 minutes to count. Or should it? And they know it is in the house because they were there and saw it. Or has Wike or anyone denied the fact that DSS was in the house of the judges?
Who brought the 2million dollars to the house? Why didn't they arrest the bribe giver at the time he was giving the bribe or when he was leaving the judges house?
Maybe because DSS was merely searching for judges house to find something discriminating and wasn't expecting to even find so much cash in their houses? Thought of this? Off course you won't, hate won't allow you.
How did they know they have moved the 2 million dollars from the house? Did any dsss opeeative count the bribe money with the giver and the bribe collector? This story na wash.we are gradually descending into a tyrannical government
Sorry to say but this part gives you out as dumb. Sorry, no offence intended. You mean they saw money in someone's house, wike and his boys came then argument commenced and by the time they finish the money disappeared and you don't see what happened? This is dumb t to honest.
