Very soon, we go dey study you. n3xt: My NEPA bill for years hasn’t gone beyond N2,000 per month.
I’m currently 70% off-grid. I don’t use PHCN to pump water and I have a good arrangement with my laundry man.
Remember to always make yourself a preferred client
I’m not really bothered about the increase in tariff. People in my community knew I’ll always have light no matter what.
Las las, PHCN will be abandoned like Water Corporation in this country. The earlier everyone start moving towards this reality, the better.
There are inverter welding machine now so no excuse. My current project is being welded with inverter welding machines. There’s even pocket-size welding machine.
I have my dc water pump that can be powered using motorcycle battery.
The world is constantly evolving. Our leaders are just stucked in their old ways. |

Patiently waiting. n3xt: SOS!!!
I want to go completely off grid and show more people it could be done. We’ve learnt to survive without Ministry of Water Resources. We can achieve the same with the Ministry of Mines & Power.
I’ll share a video of a project that’s completely off grid shortly. I hope I’m able to find it. |

I will advise that you use iron doors for all the house. They are cheaper and more durable. Each door below costs #18,000 for the single and #28,000 for the double door |

This table will break o. Stop shaking it sir. n3xt: When I was naive, my driver actually used the same truck to load 25 tons of granite for me from Abeokuta. I was happy
It was indeed a miracle when the same truck couldn’t load more than 13 tons of Berger sharp.
I made google my friend and I discovered the truck is actually a 20 cubic yard truck. It can only carry 13.5 tons and we never hit that number because of the tires.
When I was working in Ondo and I was given 28 tons by stoneworks (a company in Akure), we used the granites to sandfill almost 300m road because it was too much.
Pics 1&2 (Home Depot): Here’s what 13.5 tons (20 cu yard) look like abroad. I know it’s (or should be) different here
Pic 3: 13 tons x 2 by NextHome
Disclaimer: Pls don’t go and fight your suppliers o. The truck been discussed here is NextHome dump truck and shouldn’t be taken as industry standard. |
Science/Technology › Re: How To Know If Phone Is Being Spied On And The Solution by amalab30(m): 6:13pm On Sep 06, 2020 |
There are a few signs that may help you find out if your cell phone has spy software installed and that it is being tracked, tapped or monitored in some way. Quite often these signs can be quite subtle but when you know what to look out for, you can sometimes find out if your cell phone is being spied on.
Odd Phone Behavior – look for any changes in your cell phones behavior. Does it suddenly light up when not in use; make random beeping noises, shutdown by itself or exhibit any other random behavior? All phones can do strange things from time to time but if this is happening on a regular basis it could be a sign that your phone is being accessed by hidden software.
Battery Rundown – some spy software apps can increase the use of your battery so look out for any sudden changes in your battery life – does it need charging more often. Bear in mind that over time your cell phone battery life will diminish naturally, so you’re looking for any dramatic change. Some of the cheaper spy software programs will run your battery down quickly, however the more modern programs are designed to make less demand on the battery and are harder to spot.
Phone Shuts down – does your phone regularly shut down by itself, even when the battery is charged? Some spy software can be quite buggy and is known to cause this.
Background Noise – don’t get paranoid with this one is quite often this easily explained as a bad connection. If it is happening more than normal it could be another tell-tale sign. Look out for static, clicking, beeping or voices in the background. Some call listening and recording features can cause this background noise as they access your phone like a conference call.
Receiving Unusual Texts – are you receiving strange text messages containing random numbers, symbols or characters? The remote control feature of spy software works by sending secret coded text messages to your phone and in some cases these can be seen – if the software is not working correctly. If this happens regularly you could have a spy app on your phone. |

Boss! I'm also quietly looking forward to this. I like the comprehensive outline. Cheers! mufutau55: It has been aabout two years since I did mine last. It contracted to Aventures... even though we have other expenses that arise, I will see if he can give us the accurate cost per sqm. The stages I did mine was: 1. Bricklayers clears and manually levelled the yard and laid all the kerbs for landscaping. 2. We hired moulder to mould the interlocking bricks to our expectation and colors. 3. We hired the layers to lay and set the interlocking bricks. 4. We bought all the materials of laterite sand for levelling, stone dust for mould the bricks and also to pour on top of the latterite, then plastic to lay on top. Some bags of cements. The stonedust mix with low cement ration was mix and poured on top of the interlocking when finished. I remembered doing about 430sqm in total. I will check total cost and update later. The cost will be much more now due to rising cost of materials. Thanks.
