They are just dumb sculls, which just wanna eat and run. All what their brain can process is to just empty the guys pocket and turn the account red all in the name of the fake love the claim to have. Most of them. Ant even define it. Seriously shaking my head.

PoliticsRe: Picture Of Nigeria Divided: Is This The Future? by amare(m): 11:40am On Aug 18, 2012
I totally disagree with you, the hausa people are one of the most hardworking Nigerians. Though they might not have as much natural resources as other part, but I believe what they have is enough. Take japan or germany for instance, they both don't have any significant natural resources but they are just hardworking. I honestly believe that if the hausa could have just half as much education as other Nigerians we'll be better of.
Let's looks at the other tribes: The ibo's are very industrious people but they have a singlar problem of hating on each other, and like lincoln said, a house divided cannot stand, so the ibos would probably end up messing their country up.

The Yorubas, on the other hand are lazy, hypocritical...most of them are just okay with sitting in a small office for a career, this attitude would probably not spur any significant developement, though their country would note divide. The edge they might have are the ogun indigenes, who are very industrious (mko abiola, subomi balogun, adenuga, odutola, etc) and very outspoken (soyinka, obasanjo, fela, awolowo, etc)

The middle belt...just to dependent and quiet, they may probably end up like mexico to US.

The south-south, are another difficult bunch...by far the laziest of the bunch, the difference btw the rich and the poor among them is just too much. The extent of maginalization of the masses among them by their own leaders is just too much. Their level of inferiority complex is also amazing, always blaming other people for their problem, I wonder how they can develope their country with this attitude. It would probably not last long just after the ibos.

So I believe the hausas have the easiest lot, just educate them and you're good. Pls compare an educated hausa man an other educated people...their level of intelligence and uprightness is very impressive e.g Ribadu, sanusi, el rufia, (some hausa friends I met in nysc camp, by far the smartest graduates I've met) etc

FYI: I'm not hausa, I'm a yoruba, and I'm not unlearned, on the contrary I have a 1st class. Bachelors from a top uni.

At the end of it all, we as Nigerian would only fair BEST united..."United we stand divided we fall"

Also: this is not my account, so don't insult d generous person that allowed me comment with his NL account, *dont mind my typo errors, I'm typing with a phone*

Thanks

Nigeria stands no chance @ all, can't imagine the outcome of the game. They should just go and have fun on the court. Again stand no chance cos all the all stars are hot right now, I mean USA.

Don't mind d chemical engrs....after using ur Aspen Hysys to balance both d mass and energy of ur plant (Which a lot of mechanical engrs can do anywayz) who would put d components together... Or even call for a redesign from u if u put unfeasible components...
The turbines, boilers, pumps, compressors, pipes, etc are all mine (mechanical). The only guys that could compare equipments with on ground are the EE guys with their circuitry, control and instrumentation gadgets.

ezer: do the chem engineers design and build (without the help of mech engi) chemical plants as well?

Everyone of those courses u mentioned I also did during my mechanical engineering program...mechanical is by far the broadest...
Buts as regards to ur quest...the only efficient extractive industry in nigeria is petroleum...refined iron ores and other ores are mainly imported. Nigeria refines does very little iron ore refining compared to S/A's 9MTA (Africa's number 1) and China's 600MTA (World's number 1)

Form ur post I noticed:

Prime mover(Electrical machines)
Working fluid(Thermodynamics)
These two fields are closely related to electrical and chemical engineering, but are fundamentally aspects of mechanical engineering.

Mechanical Engineers: By their words u shall know them...#thumbs_up

lawseph: mechanical engineering is the prime-mover of modern technology, while chemical engineering is the working fluid for the prime-mover
EducationRe: Lasu 2012/2013 Academic Section. Lets Meet Here Now. by amare(m): 8:07am On May 04, 2012
Pls stop misinforming people...LASU is way better that before...it now offers value for money and thing are getting better...u get ur result before the start of the next semester...and academic profiles are ready every session...there is significant construction work going on in d campus (the LASG is investing over 4billion naira this year on infrastructure)...as for the high fees, Lagos state indigenes are given scholarship if dey have a Cgpa of 3.5 or higher...while there is an even beta package for students from other states with a cgpa of 4.5 or higher (they get full tuition scholarship and 20k for books)...

This is a new lasu...embrace it...the best of mind would have no problem enjoying this full tuitions scholarship....
PS: Note that if u are a Lagos state indigene, u would get the lagos state scholarship (250k for 3.5 cgpa above) and if u have a cgpa or 4.5 above u get your tuiotion fee back plus 20k for books...So go ahead and forget d Hippocrates...chose LASU

I am a recently graduated student waiting for NYSC, I already have my notification of result...and my certiface batch would be signed soon...by the way I enjoyed the university scholarship ( LASU scholar) all through my stay...though mine was just 25k...but urs would be bigger e.g 298k for a major like engineering...

Long live d federal republic of LASU
