I booked 11th of Aug for my biometrics for my husband and myself and then booked flexi for my son for that same date. I would like to do walk in on the 9th of Aug, is it possible for my son to also join us for the walk in irrespective of the fact that i paid for flexi?

Also, my agent didn't upload some important documents, which I need to upload, please can I pay for that service at TLS when I go for my biometrics?

Visa Alert.....

My kids Visa alert mail just dropped this morning from TLS. It's been a journey of sacrifice and hardwork and testimony.

My wife and I have been in UK for 6 months now. We couldn't come with them cos of some constraints we may face financially and settling down wise. It later turned out a good decision cos I was able to work full time like an intoxicated man,to raise cash for fees and their application.

God helped me, I paid and applied for them, from UK here, uploaded all my pay slips and 3 employment letters plus tax no. Lol. I didn't want any story as my wife was the MA.

Applied on 20th June, my son got NSF mail on 21st but we remained calm and prayerful. Today, around 11.20am, the mail came in, with the good news..

I haven't seen my kids physically in 6months, I have been working tirelessly, pushing to bring them in, my wife working so hard too.

They are aged 6years and 4 years. Today, God has given us the testimony we hoped and prayed for 6 months.

Being away from your kids for 6 months was sometimes hell but I knew the sacrifice was worth it

It might actually be genuine because different courts and different speed in which cases are handled. My divorce process was handled at Sango Ota while I live in Lagos and even got married in Lagos. When I asked my lawyer she said if it is in Lagos, for 2 years I might not even be close to having my marriage dissolved but at Sango it takes less than a year and true to her words the whole divorce process was completed in less than a year in Sango. The poster just has to be sure it is from the court and not someone sending fake docs.

It won't and can't affect your application. I doubt they would refer to that, but should they, you could give a plausible reason like, at the time of applying to schools, you were undecided on whether to go alone or with your family, and that now, you have an informed decision on that. The declaration does not affect your CAS issuance to start with, its just a regular ask by the Unis.

My agent is insisting that I do not declare to my school that I am going with my hubby and son. Please I am so worried that it might affect our visa application. He said if I declare it I would not get my CAS. Please can this be a problem for me and my dependents

I also did my TB test early this month against September intake, because of the sputum test i would have to take. I was yet to get an offer for the school i wanted and used my inlaws address in the uk who lives around the school i applied for. I hope this would not be a problem that I didnt put the address of the University.

Don't use a random address please.

You can use either Uni's it doesn't matter if you don't end up in that school, the result of the TB is what UKVI is after

No place is faster, the 10 weeks is 10 weeks. I did at IOM and it came out in 10 weeks, I also did at qlife and they are also telling me 10 weeks too

*** After i collected, i opened the nylon and checked my passport, lo and behold i didnt see anything. I cried from TLS VI to my house. I already told my siblings and husband that i didnt get the visa. On getting home, my husband was trying to console me and then i checked again, A se vignette was sitting pretty on page 21....omo, i rolled on the floor for God.

That is strange. Any changes that needs to be done on your passport must be at Abuja except for change of name for married women. Please if you did change of info on your previous passport in Lokoja that is really great.

You need to go to abuja to change the date and get a new passport.

I love your response. Infact a lot of people are not even checking out the rankings of the school and it is very important you do especially for those who wish to get into the corporate world. The schools you finish from coupled with your experience goes a long way for you. One has to be very strategic even when japaing. For schools with high ranking you pay more. However, there are still some schools with good ranking which cost like 16,500 and thats the lowest you can get for those type of schools.

So if I have the money, why won't I?

All the top universities in Scotland are more than £20k and you have so many Nigerians... University of Aberdeen for example, there are more than 70 Nigerians in this January intake and the school fee is £25k. Not all these intake are from very rich family

It is not a problem, I have treated TB before but i had to do a sputum test which took 10 weeks to get the certificate. As long as you have been treated, there would be no issues. But to make yourself feel better, you can walk into any health center for a tb test which takes just a week for the result to be out. If the result is negative then fine but you would still need to do the sputum test regardless because it would definately show up in the x ray as suggestive TB.

Please dont submit a consent letter except the both parents are travelling together. In your own case you need a court order that shows you have sole custody of your child . Anything else would mean an outright denial of your child's visa.

Is there any divorced mum that applied for her child to follow her as a dependent? If yes, please what documents did you submit for your child and was the application successful.

I really need help because I am being told that consent letter, marriage cert and divorce cert is not enough evidence for them to grant the child a visa.
