Foreign AffairsYou can imagine: Saudi Arabia's women were not able to do this before now by Amba555(op): 11:20pm On Jun 23, 2018
Saudi women are officially allowed to drive, after a decades-old ban ended at midnight local time (21:00 GMT).

The change was announced last September and Saudi Arabia issued the first licences to women earlier this month.

It was the only country left in the world where women could not drive and families had to hire private chauffeurs for female relatives.

However the move comes amid an intensified crackdown on activists who campaigned for the right to drive.

At least eight women's rights activists are being detained and could face trial in a counter-terrorism court and long prison sentences for their activism, human rights group Amnesty says.

But there are still limits on what Saudi women can do.

Saudi women still can't do some other things

Saudi law enforces a strict form of Sunni Islam known as Wahhabism and is known for its gender segregation rules.

Women have to adhere to strict dress codes, and must not associate with unrelated men. If they want to travel, work or access healthcare, they must be accompanied by a male guardian or have their written permission.

Politics2018 Budget: Buhari And The NASS Which Of Them Is Lying? by Amba555(op): 5:29am On Jun 23, 2018
Heard on news few days ago of our president lamenting over the reduction in some projects to be done by the executive and increase in the NASS budget.

Now NASS has come out to say they only reduced the budget slightly to fund other important projects that will cover every geo political zone in the country.

It's clear both parties are trading blames and the question is who do we believe?

NASS revealed 2016 and 2017 funds for the second Niger bridge was NEVER used and I wonder if it was not used where did the money go cos Buhari always asked for supplementary budgets as if the previous ones are never enough

Make una put mouth oh....where are we heading to in naija?

When you go to other countries you marvel but when you are in Nigeria you just want to kill our politicians for miss using our funds.

PoliticsBenue Killings: The Way Forward by Amba555(op): 8:01am On Jun 16, 2018
Honestly speaking I'm very angry with the daily killings of the Benue people and the Buhari government is doing NOTHING to stop these killings.

If these killings happened in the north they will carry the headquarters of the Air Force and Army down to Benue at once without blinking an eye.

MY SOLUTION
The Benue people are the solution to these killings. This CANT happen in my area close to Warri...dem dey craze? The day cattle men carried their stupid cows to our farms, we killed all the cows...we are still waiting for them.

The villagers of Benue should arise and protect their lands. Politicians in that area should assist them too not going to IDP camps to donate tissue papers and Indomie.

Buhari is not ready to defend you at all. He will only support his people to kill you the more.

These herdsmen don't have two heads, if they come with charms go make yours before they wipe your generations.

Enough is enough... Benue people arise and fight for your land, stop nursing your wounds.

What do you want them to do?

To carry out a revolution, so that their enemies will have reasons to invade their land fully?

They should endure it, they brought the ant infested woods into their land and again na them carry one nigeria for head after yoruba moslems.

May the deads rest in peace.
Folding your hands and wait to be killed in your own land is never a solution.

Self defense is allowed even in the court of law. Arm yourselves and wait for them(herdsmen).

Form local JTFs, don't they have people in the military? Don't they have youths?

At least if you want to die, die honourably and your generation won't forget you for trying to save your land at least than die like chickens.

These herdsmen are not spirits, they are traceable... Track them down and unleash your angry on even their dead bones jare.

Since government has failed to protect you, protect yourselves.
