My wife and I still farm on the remaining part of the land for consumption. I don't buy yams, corn or cocumbers. I simply get them from my small farm. Truly, Agriculture has helped me to mitigate the shocks of the Nigeria Economy.
Please OP, sorry to bother you. Why are many people not investing in cocoa farming as Nigeria has the potentials to be a world producer? Do you have plans to expand?

Nigerian politicians attitude to political opponents is different from the hate their supporters display at each other.

That's why when these politicians suddenly defect to or realign with hitherto enemy political camp for their selfish reasons, their supporters look lost and foolish for sometime before recovering to continue their zombie support.

Fry yam, akara, plantain and fish morning and evening shifts. Tedious, non-glamorous but rewarding. You need at least frying points separately. One for akara and the other for others.

Don't just sit there and say "Africans need to free ourselves from religion." It can't happen without action.

I've written a book about the origin, history and evolution of religion. I want to turn the book into a documentary to get to a wider audience.

Once Africans understand how our ancestors invented the concept of God, especially the concept of a Savior, redeemer, Messiah, religion will be dead in Africa or at least lay a strong foundation for it's eradication.

Support me or simply help spread the message
Our ancestors didn't invent the concept of God. Human existence has dual nature namely physical and spiritual. It is bigger than your mind but unfortunately you are subjected to this duality. It doesn't matter if you an atheist or agnostic.

So, whatever message you have to spread is your personal conviction which makes you different from deranged Ebo Noah.

In Benue, Kogi, Plateau and parts of Kaduna especially when El Rufai was governor. These are mainly Christian populated communities. Bodies of matcheted, shot and burnt men, women and children are usually lined up before burial. A church was attacked in Ondo State. Do a bit of research online.

Nigeria of Jonathan era with cheap fuel, cheap food, cheap Forex, cheap accomodation, comparative salary and service delivery makes this present economic state unreal and shocking for most people albeit it was inevitable with the poor management of Buhari.

Nigerians just want the good old days where they can earn a decent salary and breath well and not be suffocated with all the government imposed ill-timed, elitists and bad policies.
Jonathan didn't diversify the economic base of Nigeria the last time. There is limit to what a team of ministers and advisers/assistants would do if the team leader came without the vital
VISION and ROAD MAP.

PoliticsOsita Chidoka Endorses Governor Soludo For Second Term by ambu2(op): 8:42pm On Jul 26, 2025
Former Minister of Aviation and prominent public policy advocate, and Vice Chairman Anambra State Educational Council, Osita Chidoka, has formally endorsed the re-election bid of Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, calling him “Odịụkọ na Mba”, “the rare one, not easily found.”

In a statement sent to PREMIUM TIMES on Saturday, Mr Chidoka’s Special Assistant on Media, Ikechukwu Okafor, said the former minister spoke at the Anambra Central Senatorial Zone endorsement event on Saturday, praising Governor Soludo’s transformational leadership, prudent financial management, and vision for the future of Anambra State.

“In 2025, the question is no longer ‘Is it broken?’” Mr Chidoka said. “The real question is: why drop the spoon when the soup is tasty? Ndi Anambra, the pot is still on the fire. The aroma of progress is in the air.”

He praised Mr Soludo’s achievements in urban renewal, digital governance, education reform, and infrastructure, calling for continuity to sustain the gains of the past three years.

“Soludo is the only son of Anambra who has kept money for the whole of Nigeria and today, he is keeping Anambra’s money with care, vision, and discipline.”

Quoting an Igbo proverb “Ula tọba uto, ekwobeya ekwobe”, Mr Chidoka likened Mr Soludo’s governance to sweet sleep: “When sleep is sweet, you don’t wake up, you roll over and enjoy it again.”

“Let’s not break the rhythm. Let the Solution continue. Let Odịụkọ finish the course.”

Mr Soludo, a former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, was sworn in as governor of Anambra in March 2022 on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance. (APGA). He is now running for a second term in office.

Mr Chidoka Corps was the corps marshal and chief executive of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) between June 2007 and June 2014.

In July 2014, then President Goodluck Jonathan appointed him minister of aviation, a role he held until May 2015.

A founding member and strategist of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), he served as special adviser to the PDP National Chairman in 2018. In the 2017 Anambra governorship election, he ran under the United Progressive Party (UPP) but was defeated by APGA’s candidate Willie Obiano..

In November 2024, he formally resigned from the PDP to focus on non‑partisan civic engagement through the Athena Centre, advocating for governance reforms and evidence‑based policy in Nigeria .

Jagaban2012:
The earlier Nigerian youths were aware of Deji Adeyanju And Omoyele Sowere are using their Pseudo protest to cash out the better for them....

This is the same logic used by the Student Union Government (SUG) leaders of many Nigerian public higher education institutions....

75 percent of the Aluta protests or riots you see in various Nigerian institutions are not organic...someone somewhere financed it...
Omoyele Sowere cashed out with all these kinds of things when he was iSuG leader in higher education and thought he should keep doing it because he is no longer in school...and by this conduct, he has so many financiers all over the world.....

late chief Gani Faweyinmi and some few others who has past on are the people that does not this government or institution with no string attached. As a matter of fact Gani Faweyinhimi lose his SAN position numerous times because he doesn't want to play along with the government of the day.....Gani Faweyinhim lose a lot. ...and this was during the military government . . I doubt of Sowers can attempt this kind of conduct during the miliatry government. .. ......the rest are some protest. ...most especially , the # ENDSARs protest and its conveners. .. from the protest , you will know that people highly and rich people really sponsored that protest. ...though they didn't achieve their aim but they really come for the government of the day
If Sowore, Deji Adeyanju, David Hundeyin, etc are making loads of money from their bold action of speaking to POWER, why are many Nigerians not doing this? Yes, some international donors support their causes but believe me, it is a yeoman job they are doing.

PoliticsDr. Joe Abah's Piece On International Men's Day by ambu2(op): 10:16am On Nov 20, 2024
I understand that today is #InternationalMensDay. Some have encouraged men to talk about their mental health. Let me talk about mine. You can do any psychoanalysis you want. I don’t care. I just want to vent as a man.

As a man, I am likely to die before a woman of the same age. I can’t complain though. I think I got a good deal biologically. No bodily changes each month. No need to enhance my hair, eye lashes, eye brows, ears, lips, nails, etc. I can just shower, brush my hair, use a moisturiser and go!

I think that my life is a life of sacrifice. I have to protect and provide. I don’t mind that but it can be hard sometimes. I can’t complain though. I think it’s harder having to give birth, nurturing a family, and still be expected to provide as well. And to still have to protect my man from harm, including his inclination for self harm.

Sometimes, I don’t want to talk. I would like some time to think and plan. That I am not talking doesn’t mean there is anything wrong. It doesn’t mean there’s any issue between us. I just crave some silence.

As a man, I solve problems by thinking, not by talking it over with anyone. That I want some time to myself doesn’t mean I am not blissfully happy in your presence or that I want to be with another woman or to hang with boys. It’s just me and my brain.

However, I have been told that that doesn’t work in a relationship. I can’t complain though. After all, it’s not only me. I have to accommodate the fact that my woman may prefer to solve problems by talking them through. I hear that the approach of talking through problems is the better approach. It doesn’t work for me though. I would rather analyse the issue and think through a clear path to a solution BEFORE I talk about it.

It is not that I want to exclude my woman. I just want to deal with the issue the best way I know how. I feel that by the time I come to talk about it, I should have a plan. I believe that having a plan will reassure my woman. I don’t want to go into a discussion of the problem without at least the makings of a plan.

I actually never feel under-appreciated. I don’t feel
the need for any appreciation. I have a duty to do and I just do it. I can’t complain. It’s not a competition. If it were, I would lose every time because her job is harder than mine. However, there is blood flowing through my own veins too.

With financial and career success, my needs have actually become very few. Just love, food, alcohol, sex and peace. However, I must accept that my spouse may want more. Like more talk. More romance. More show of affection. I must try harder.

I feel incredibly lucky. I can’t imagine changing my surname and taking another person’s surname. Some even take the surname AND first name ( like Mariam Joe-Abah). Why? 🤷🏽‍♂️ I can’t imagine leaving my church or religion to take on my spouse’s. I won’t do that for anybody. I also won’t have spent all day at work and come back home to cook for anybody. Not even for myself! So, I can’t complain.

I know that no one is coming to save me. It’s me against the world. I am expected to always be the bigger person. After all, I must never be caught “behaving like a woman.” However, do not be surprised if I say No sometimes. Don’t be surprised if I am sometimes stubborn just for the sake of it, even when there is no apparent benefit from that stubbornness. Don’t be confused about the fact that I am not afraid of death or scared of any living being.

Finally, I am
Incredibly lucky to have the love of a good woman. I am a man. That is who I am. Everything I’ve said is not me complaining. I actually feel incredibly privileged and you don’t know how content I am. Still, today is a good day to celebrate me. When I’m dead, it won’t matter to me anymore.

Happy #InternationalMensDay to all men out there.

End of rant! 😂

PoliticsReuben Abati Asks Tinubu’s Sons To Stop Hanging Around Aso Rock by ambu2(op): 6:54pm On Mar 06, 2024
Reuben Abati, a former media adviser to former President Goodluck Jonathan, has criticised President Bola Tinubu's sons, Seyi and Yinka, for loitering around the Aso Rock Villa like "men without personal purposes in life."

Abati, who expressed his dissatisfaction on Wednesday, during Arise TV "The Morning Show" which he co-anchors with fellow journalists Oseni Rufai and two others described the President’s sons as ''jobless invalids.”

He also lambasted Tinubu for including Seyi and Yinka among his team that visited Qatar last weekend and giving them more diplomatic preference than his ministers.

SaharaReporters earlier reported how Seyi and Yinka were among the delegation that travelled with the President on a state visit to Doha, Qatar which was scheduled for March 2 and 3, 2024

Reacting, Abati said, “What I am saying is that first Nigerians complain that they should not have been on that list, the issue raised there is that yes if their father is paying for them to be there, fine. I also raised the question if they have relevant qualifications, if they are business people in their own rights, they can bring investment and they will make contribution. Then you will say they have a reason to be there, What I found disturbing in that video that we just shown, we just show the order of protocol, I spent four years studying diplomacy. They were coming on the order of protocol before the minister of the Federal Republic, what are their roles there that they will be put before the minister?

“May we begin to ask, what do the president’s children do for a living? I don’t know specifically how old they are but looking at them, by the time I was their age, I was doing something concrete with my life. I got a PhD at 24. I wasn’t depending on any father.

“People must get to a stage in their lives when they will hold themselves together, I don’t want adults behaving like invalids hanging around just because your father is in a position. All these children of privilege sometimes overdo it, and these are boys that would probably have wives at home. Some of these girls, what they go through is very embarrassing. You can’t have a husband that’s just hanging around, that cannot stand on his two feet as men.’’
