This is a very good step from GEJ,one worthy of emulating by those that believe elections are do or die affair, those that play politics with bitterness and rancor . |
INEC deserves commendation for what happened in EDO.and also GEJ for allowing Jega to do his work. |

Paris Saint-Germain are on the verge of pulling off a sensational €60 million (£47m) double swoop for AC Milan duo Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani has been planning to offload the pair for months in order to wipe out a significant chunk of the club's mounting debts, as well as remove two hefty salaries from the wage bill, with Ibrahimovic earning a reported €12m (£9.5m) a year, while Thiago Silva commands a yearly salary of €6m (£4.7m) plus bonuses at San Siro. Galliani's plan was initially undermined by the Berlusconi family, with club owner Silvio Berlusconi blocking the proposed sale of Thiago Silva to PSG for €46m (£36m) at the last minute before subsequently handing the Brazilian a lucrative new contract. However, Galliani has now been given the green light to cash in on Milan's two most valuable assets, meaning it will now be up to the players involved to decide if they want to move to the French capital. Thiago Silva claimed over the weekend that he was "glad" that his proposed switch to the Parc des Princes collapsed, revealing that he never wanted to leave San Siro, but that the deal has now been resurrected should not be an issue for the Brazil international. Ibrahimovic, meanwhile, has expressed an interest in relocating to the French capital and the Swede's representative, Mino Raiola, is also reportedly keen to secure the 30-year-old striker one last big pay day. As for Milan, they accept that filling the void left by Thiago Silva could be close to impossible, but they are confident of finding an adequate replacement for Ibrahimovic. |
According to Jega, to ensure free and fair polls, the ballot boxes that would be used for the election had special security features, which would make it impossible to be diverted from one local government to the other, saying that the measure would deter ballot box snatching. However, the INEC boss and the acting Inspector General of Police, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar, warned political parties, candidates and politicians involved in the election against the breach of peace, adding that security would not be compromised. |
What are your expectations? |

@haka_nai in as much as u r entitle to your own opinion, I respect that fact but u hav to b factual also when u say certain things... Are u aware that during el rufia's tenure, he forcefully evicted 800,000 ( confirmed) residents using a myth he created about Abuja master plan to convince people that the plan justified and necessitated the systematic violation of housing rights of hundreds of thousands of people so that Abuja would not become 'another Lagos' . The use of tear gas, beating and other methods of violence were use to carry out this evictions, without allowing people retrieve properties from their homes, is this fair? Tell me...mayb u just want to b economical with the truth....[/quote]in as much as I believe in beauty and ambience, I'm against dehumanization which d "el-ruffian" administration in FCT represented. The inhuman ways thru which he carried out d eviction of people from their homes without even giving them a chance to pack their belongings makes my heart bleed. I begin to wonder why he now comes out on twitter, etc to present himself as a "sanctimonious holy impeccable innocentia". The side effects of his atrocities must surely continue to haunt him wherever he goes, AMEN |
