Nigeria’s military authorities have told Boko Haram leader,Abubakar Shekau they are out to get him no matter where he hides and has also dismissed as “empty propaganda” claims by the insurgents’ head man leader that soldiers have retreated during an ongoing offensive, insisting the campaign has heavily damaged the Islamist insurgents. In a video obtained by AFP on Tuesday, Boko Haram chief, Abubakar Shekau, said soldiers have at times, “turned and ran” when facing Islamist fighters and rejected military boasting about the success of the operation. “We consider it as empty propoganda,” defence spokesman Brigadier General Chris Olukolade said of the video. “To the best of our understanding, at the moment, (the insurgents) are in disarray. They are on the run and so many of them have been captured,” he told AFP. Shekau’s whereabouts, which cannot be determined in the video, remain unknown. “I don’t know his location but I know that intelligence is trailing him and we will surely get him anywhere he is hiding,” Olukolade said. http://nigerianbulletin.com/nigerian-news/we-will-get-you-nigerian-military-tells-boko-haram-leader-shekau/ |

Didn't Melaye celebrate Democracy day wen he was in d house? Now he has been schemed out,he now knows there is nothing to celebratethat is to show you what hunger can do to a person. Melaye is just a hungry man looking for what Government can give him to eat. |

An orange seller who acts as a spy for Boko Haram has been arrested in Kawo area of Kaduna by soldiers, with N600 million found in his account following investigation. Speaking at the weekend, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 1 Division, Nigerian Army, Kaduna, Major-General Garba Wahab, disclosed this as an offensive against insurgents in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe States reach top gear. “When we stop those who are hawking and carrying wheelbarrow, and we said we want to check, people will shout, ‘why are you disturbing the average person?’ And I give you example; we arrested somebody called mai lemu (orange seller) in Kawo here. And in three months when we checked through his account, over N600 million has passed through that man’s account, and he sells orange here by Kawo bridge. “He is there as a lookout. He is like a spy. He looks around, gets information and feeds these guys, says this is what is happening. That is why I said we are not dealing with idiots. We are dealing with people who have one or two guys working and thinking , and giving them information. And we know that before they attack they must look at the softest locations,” the GOC said. http://www.informationng.com/2013/05/spy-for-boko-haram-who-sells-orange-as-cover-arrested-by-the-army.html |

bubadaniel13: The aftermath of the 2011 general elections which gave birth to violence in some parts of the country especially the north, lives and properties were lost cheaply for no just cost. The rising insecurity is taking a new dimension everyday, with the faceless Boko Haram claiming responsibility for every violent attack made with no clue to what there agenda or intentions are.But recent events have shown that there is an indication that some selfish people are feeding fat on the insecurity situation of the country, this is obvious in the way and manner some politicians have been making comments on the insecurity of the Nation. The good book says, the heart of man is desperately wicked, who can comprehend. While we pray for FG to work hard to address the issue, and all of us to stand against those who want to destroy Nigeria, nemesis will catch up with those who are sponsoring this evil..Nigeria is for all of us,we must not allow dangerous people to pull it down. Our God never sleeps, nothing is hidden under the sun.those behind this nuisance must surely pay for their atrocities. |
Hmm,some persons are naturally heartless... |
Al Qaeda is kidnapping young children in troubled Somalia and brainwashing them to launch future terrorist attacks, it has been claimed. The ‘terrorist schools’ keep the children – some as young as seven – chained up to beds while they were taught an extreme version of Islam. The youths, all under 10-years-old, were also taught about suicide bombings and told they would go to paradise if they killed themselves in ‘martyrdom-operations’. Pictures of the locked-up children were uncovered by terror investigator Neil Doyle after authorities carried out a raid on a school in Mogadishu. The classes, being carried out at a Islamic Boarding School, were being taught by a member of the Al Qaeda inspired Somali terrorist group Al Shabaab. http://dailypost.com.ng/2012/08/14/exposed-how-children-kidnapped-chained-trained-become-suicide-bombers/ |

The SSA to Mr president on Public Affairs on Monday 13th August 2012 in an interview with AIT asserted that maximum force has not been used on the Islamic militants,Boko Haram because the FG does not want to record unbearable collateral damage. The presidential aide said those accusing Mr. Jonathan of inaction, on the insecurity pervading the country, were not fair on the President. "It is wrong to say the President has not been able to tackle the security problem," Mr. Okupe said. The Ogun state politician said the Federal Government could not use force on the Islamist group because it wanted to avoid civilian casualties. "The Nigerian army can in one month wipe out the Boko Haram, but the collateral damage will be unbearable," he said. He said that the government was already achieving some success against the terrorist group. The question that now calls to mind is ,should Maximum force be used on BOKOHARAM ? |

D-Explorer:,it's obvious this DEMDEM is a terrorist he sympathizes with them and their sponsors .by the way,the truth is that what is happening in the north can not thrive in the south. When the militants were giving troubles in the Niger- delta, they had thier reasons.now can DEMDEM tell us the reasons for their actions and activities?.they forget that what they gave birth to,will soon consume them in turns. |

That is to show the high level of discipline prevalent in the citizens of nigeria.i can recall in 2002 world cup in south Korea when Senegalese footballer and striker kalilou Fahdiga was alleged to have been involved in shoplifting in a Korean supermarket. I really have to commend our sports representatives for remaining good ambassadors of this great country. |
