Ok, those who like to gossip should take a chill and at least, 'hear' the rapper out. There was some buzz across social media after former Big Brother Naija housemate, Uriel, turned down Ruggedy Baba's invitation to his video game contest. However, Ruggedman thinks Uriel Oputa cannot disrespect him even though so many Nigerians shed tears over the 'diss'. Well, in an exclusive interview with Sunday Scoop, Ruggedman said:

“It’s nothing serious. It’s just people trying to blow things out of proportion. Uriel and I have been friends for over seven years and that’s why I could send her a message that way and we even joked about it. If you go back to read our exchange on social media, you would see she wrote that she had an interview on that day and that’s why she couldn’t make it. She reacted that way because we are friends and not because she was trying to be rude.”

On a lighter note, Ruggedman also spoke on when next he would be putting out a body of work. His last album was in 2006 and his fans want more music. The rapper reacted to this.

Two undergraduates have been arrested by the police for allegedly raping, robbing and taking nude photos of a job seeker. It’s gathered that the suspects who have been identified as Valentine and Kusimo, took turns to rape their victim after luring her into a hotel. The incident is said to have happened on Thursday, January 14, 2016, on Idowu Ibiyemi Street, in the Igando area of Lagos State.



Valentine, from Imo State, was said to be seeing off the 27-year-old with the hope that she would not raise the alarm when Nike suddenly called for help. This led to the arrest of the suspects and they were taken to the Igando Police Division.

A boy Arinze Opiomachie, 20, has been brought before a Tinubu Magustrates’ Court by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly beating up his 60-year-old neighbour, Mrs. Tina Emebele. He was arraigned on one count of assault before the court’s Chief Magistrate, Mr. A. Adefulire. The incident is said to have happened on December 30, 2015, on Baale Street, in the Ajah area of Lagos, where Opiomachi and the woman reside.

I never knew burglars had any form of sympathy in their hardened heart. Such was the case of a man who was fed up of having his car stolen and dumped by burglars. He thought out an idea and decided to drop a note for the burglers. He started by saying: If you’re reading this, you are probably stealing my car. I’m a nice person and likely would you have given you a ride.



A Reddit user, mfiasco, left the rather sarcastic note in the glovebox of his Honda in the hope that the thieves would at least leave the car where it wouldn’t be towed.
