Actress Nicole Kidman managed to look pristine despite travelling with her two young daughters to LAX airport.

The 47-year-old kept things simple but chic with a longline blazer and a black and white printed silk shift dress. Sticking to the monochromatic theme, Nic accesorised with sheer black tights, flat boots and dark sunglasses.

Joining the Grace Kelly actress were her two adorable daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.

Eldest of the two, five-year-old Sunday looked happy to arriving at the airport as she gazed up at her famous mum. But little Sunday proved that she is just like country singer dad, Keith Urban as she rocked a pair of white cowboy boots for the trip.



Younger sister, three-year-old Faith was clinging on tightly to Nicole as they arrived at the airport. Looking just a mini-me, little Faith even has her mummy’s curly strawberry blonde hair.

This latest display of unity from the Urban-Kidman family comes after Keith and Nicole celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary in Melbourne last week.

A former American Idol winner is performing close to home this summer.

Singer-songwriter Phillip Phillips will be at the Chevy Court at the Great New York State Fair, at 8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 31.

Many local fans may remember Phillips stopped by Utica when he headlined the Spring Meltdown at Mohawk Valley Community College in April 2013.

Platinum recording artist Phillips recently released his sophomore album ‘Behind The Light.’ The album includes all songs that were either written or co-written by Phillips including the lead single “Raging Fire,” a love song that debuted in the Billboard Hot 100 upon its March release. ‘Behind The Light’ is a follow-up to 2012′s The World from the Side of the Moon, a platinum plus-selling album that debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200 and featured the platinum hit “Home.”

She’s on her own. Professional dancer and actress Julianne Hough gets candid in the August 2014 issue of Redbook magazine about becoming comfortable with herself and what went wrong in her past relationships.

While the former “Dancing With The Stars” showstopper has been in her current relationship with hockey player Brooks Laich since December 2013, dating hasn’t always been easy for Hough.

In regard to what ended her three-year relationship with Ryan Seacrest, Hough accepts her role in the demise: “Every relationship, there was nothing wrong or bad, but there was nothing right. I had one foot out because I didn’t want to get hurt. And I didn’t say what was on my mind because I didn’t want to ruffle any feathers. I needed to be perfect.”

Hough tells the magazine it was actually the breakup with the “American Idol” host that led her to re-examine her dating life, “I had this epiphany when my family went to a six-day seminar [last November] about creating your own destiny,” she says. “I learned so much about myself and why my relationships didn’t work that by the end I was on a high. I was seeing a couple people, but immediately [pretends to text guys], ‘You are nice, but this is going nowhere.’ The next day my ‘Curve’ co-star introduced [Brooks and me]. It couldn’t have been a better time. We’ve been open and honest from day one.”

According to Stuart Derdeyn of the Montreal Gazette, the previous frontman of the Queen, Paul Rodgers, might be a marquee name but he didn’t have the range of Freddie Mercury. For Brian May “showcasing his doctorate of riffology at Rogers Arena and the lecture was brilliant,” or the Roger Taylor drum solo, the band seemed to hit their stride as the show went on, to the delight of the crowd, the reviewer noted.

The band went on to perform 20-plus songs, including a new one titled “Love Kills” which will be featured in the upcoming studio album.

He concludes that the Queen and Adam Lambert tour 2014 “was a far sight better than the perfunctory cash grabs many of their peers are presenting.”
