As reported earlier, information from the Maseru Hotel in Lesotho where the Black Stars of Ghana lodged for their World Cup Qualifier, say that team skipper Asamoah Gyan’s $10,000 has been stolen. The player returned to their hotel room after their 2-0 win over Lesotho only to find one of his bags cut into pieces with its contents missing. According to the receptionist, someone came to the hotel claiming he was ‘Asamoah Gyan’ and wanted the key which she gave to him. Now footage captured by the hotel’s CCTV camera gives an indication of who the thief may be.

‘Ghana Meets Naija’, an annual concert which sees Ghanaian musicians and their Nigerian counterparts ‘battling’ it out before tonnes of fans is back with the third edition. This year’s edition, which would be held at the Accra International Conference Centre on June 29, will feature performances from likes of Wizkid, Timaya, Burna Boy, Samini, Okyeame Kwame, R2Bees, E.L, Dobble and Dr. Slim, EDEM, Raquel, and X.O Senavoe among a host of others.

This was announced at a launch at the Holiday Inn hotel in Accra, which was attended by Wizkid and many of his Ghanaian counterparts.

Just when we thought the issue of actor John Dumelo and his alleged wife, Harrina was dying out, there is news of more woes for the renowned actor. On Thursday evening, the award-winning journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas took to his Facebook page to post what was a ‘warning’ – of a sort – to get the actor to solve issues surrounding a current complexity he’s involved in with a Mozambican lady.

“I am arriving from Mozambique soon, work has been concluded, you would see the thrills. Somebody should be whispering into John Dumelo’s ears that whereas it is a fantastic idea to own a clothing line, it is not ideal to do that at the expense of a three month old baby and the mum,” he said.

“I may be forced to release some audio tapes on him on the saga. It is not fair to reap where you have not sown. If the matter is not put to rest in two weeks, i would release them for people to make their own judgement on the Australian issue”.
