Lol this is funny. Most of the stuff you mentioned there are stuff you can just go on playstore and download. I mean. Gallery, file manager, sound recorder? Are you serious? And what's the difference between sound recorder and voice recorder? App permission management? Seriously? That's fully supported in the Android one rom. Efficient battery management? This is really funny. You really can't compare the Original Android One rom to that thing infinix released. With the bold 3G icons covering the status bar. The navigation panel is ugly too. It's a real mystery how some of you love that rom. I don't understand it. I flashed it to my phone and it didn't even stay 30mins and I ported back to the Android One rom. You say font changer, who needs font changer? I really think all those unnecessary tweaks are childish and are for amateurs. Besides if you really want to change your font then root your phone by installing trwp and flashing the su zip file. It's pretty simple. But I ain't gonna root my phone. I don't have much reasons to anymore. Besides I need the Ota updates.

But hey one man's food is another's poison. Variety is the spice of life. Yet I still can't get how anybody will prefer that XUI ROM to the original android one rom. Hell, you can't even update the xui rom. It's such a waste of time.

Most Infinix hot 2 users rushed to upgrade to Marshmallow without knowing which steps to take before & after updating. I waited till I got the update notification last Saturday & I've already prepared for it.

**None of my files went missing
**No App got deleted as a result of the update
**Not even my browsing history got tampered with, everything was intact
**I've been discovering the advantages of the upgrade day by day without any regrets. Goto Wikipedia or Android official website and read all about Marshmallow. Enough of all these complains due to self negligence

from link below download the installer and the uninstaller in case you experience any bootloop flash the uninstaller and your phone will restore back to normal.please read the instructions well.God bless you.

if u gat pc, download the marshmallow update and rename it to update.zip
search google and download adb and fastboot drivers install em on your pc, download mtk vcom drivers and also install em. when done move the update to ur sdcard. on your pc to to c drive u will see adb folder (if installed correctly) as in (c:/adb) open it and hold CONTROL + SHIFT AND RIGHT CLICK and click open command window here. now connect ur phone to your pc make sure your pc detect it, now type 'adb reboot recovery' (without quote) and click enter it will boot to your phone to recovery.
disconnect ur phone u will see a dead android logo, hold power and press volume up once and u are on stock recoery. use volumn and go to apply update from sdcard and press power to select and allow it to do its thing. this might take up to 15min when it is done u will see it just select reboot and u will be on marshmallow. i hope u are not rooted.

Upto now I didn't receive marshmallow update. All the procedures to install OTA update thru stock recovery was in vain. I tried TWRP recovery I end up disappointed n resting my phone which I wasted almost 750mb in updating my apps again.

Pls gurus if there is anyone that flash the marshmallow manually and was successful should pls guide me to get my own marshmallowon the device.

since then I didn't heard anybody that bought it 19k. and guess what ? it is the 16+2ram I bought and even on Jumia the 16+1ram is 19.5k

the price is ranging btw 19-23k nationwide

hope this version will work coz I download about 3 app but all need to be updated only one work and it replaced my default whatsapp.

It's a lie don't answer anybody download an old version of kingroot and go to ur setting at device administrator and active Android device monitor

Just check it now. The option is active but still king root 4.0 4.5.2 4.6.2 no root the phone. Maybe the latest update is more secured than all the previous android one ROM. Coz I install the latest update.

Now thats a problem. You will have to reflash your phone to the previous build. So you can root.since u have a pc. U will have to backup your apps and phone data with titanium backup before u start anything

titanium require root permission n I don't have root access. how can I back up my phone ?
