Got my passport back today from DHL after they delayed transit to Lagos for like 8 days ( they nearly frustrated me but God pass them) and My God how dearly I love you daddy, I can't stop staring at my counterfoil, I'm amazed at the wonders he's done concerning my life so far. It's better you use old portal which has provision for Spousal Open Work Permit for your wife. Then you can apply for study permit for kids above 5 years and vv for kids below 5yrs

If one wants to apply for their spouse and dependants (minors) at the same time they are applying for their study permit, what do they apply for on the new portal for the spouse and kids? Guys! I posted just this afternoon about the fact that i got bvl but no ppr. I sent an email to all IRCC offices and two hours later, I got my PPR.
I'm a 1st-time applicant. Applied on August 29th, got PPR today, 9th December. I'm so grateful to God and I wish everyone waiting on thiers God's favor and divine help, just the way He helped me.

Yes you can upload your own LOA and a brief LOE detailing why you want to bring them along. Merge these 2 documents together as a single document.

Whether active or inactive, I don't think it matters.
I got my ppr with my CAC status inactive, so many others have gotten ppr with inactive CAC status

Just read that the program is only a total of 15 credit hours and can be completed in 2 semesters of full time study.

Don't you think 15 credit hours is small to be eligible for PGWP.

Note a traditional semester work for full-time study is 15 credit hours and 30 credit hours for one year

Ok, if the program is not specified as ineligible then you're fine.
Most ineligible programs are programs less than 2 semesters - 8 months, while some use credit loads to judge. These are mostly certificate programs if I'm not mistaken.

I have actually sent some mails to the admissions and international enquiries and they didn't come out straight with their responses.

They only referred me to the PGWP page of IRCC for further reading. Meanwhile, the DLI website didn't specify any program of Memorial University of Newfoundland as non PGWP eligible.

Correct me if I'm wrong, if certain programs in a DLI institution are not eligible for PGWP, it will be specified in the website, there's always a"details" to click on the website to see more information about programs that are not eligible for PGWP.

If you wait for who has knowledge about certain programs/schools, you might wait a long time or end up with a wrong response from asking repeatedly.
Personally I sent mails to several schools when I was looking for admission and I was thankful I did when I got their responses, it saved me from applying to so many pgwp non eligible programs even when the school was a DLI.

Why not head to the school's page, navigate and obtain their international student's enquiry email and send them a couple of emails to obtain first hand information. You will be glad you did.

According to their website, GDBA is a program designed for the working class, though you can also enroll as a full-time student.

Then the maximum semester given to complete the program is 9 semesters, even though one can finish it in 2 semesters since it is only a 5 course program.

That notwithstanding, you will pay the complete 9 semesters fees which is about 12k CAD even if you finish the program in 2 semesters.

My only concern is the entire program has only 5 courses. Hope the PGWP will be at least 1 year.
