uwc .also donot bath ur dog for the next 65-70days from the last mating date, u can clean her up gently with a towel or a clean foam that is not too wet if her fur is dirty

I am new to dog breeding, i mated my GSD 2wice and both male and female tied together.Now my female GSD stopped eating after mating. A also how can I tell that the mating was Successful? What can I do to make the dog eat?

inappetence is one of the major symptoms of pregnancies some other symptoms u might watchout for within the first 3weeks from the last mating date like vomitting mostly in the mornings, morning sickness ie less active in the morning, secretion of fluid from the vulva( it must be clear and odourless) most of the time when there is fluid discharge from the vulva its assume mating is sucessful but only pregnancy test from a vet that confirm 100% if a dog is actually pregnant because even dog with fake or false pregnancy show the following symptoms.

well some pregnant dogs tend to be selective , i have two female mature gsd one of them during pregnancy after first 21-25days she will reject her dry kibble instead she prefer rice with fish mersh inside it or fry egg then she also eat semovita with egusi /okro/ ogbono and fish/meat sliced inside the soup to induce her appetite or bread and egg.
so my advice for you is to try to explore to know what ur dog like . include fish/meat /egg in her meal also put the meat / fish water inside her meal, it work very well.
get the yellow b-complex ; administer one tab morning and evening it helps to stimulate appetite
, you can also buy folic acid(one in the morning and evening as well)

donot feed ur dog fruits like pineapple, watermelon, paw-paw most especially and some other fruits they release enzyme which might affect pregnancy at early stage

prevent ur dog from the following : excessive running, excessive barking which can be prevented if you keep them away from visitors, jumping.

this is the fluid discharge from my girl vulva 16days after mating . am worried because the discharge happen not only in the morning

Day 34: visible weight gain. I couldn't get a good picture of her nipples cuz of how hairy her tummy is. I just had to take pictures of the last 2 nipples.

nipple is turning red. just try to restrain her from jumping too much becos i learnt that the 4thweek and 5th week of the pregnancy is very crucial

sign which u might notice within the first 21thdays and after first 21days of pregnancy

vomiting :mostly in the morning some dogs vomit . in this case you do not need to be worried unless if the vomitting continue through out a day then u need to consult a vet

discharge of fluid from the vulva: this happen from 21thday. note if its smelly then u need to consult becos it might be infection which lead to miscarriage

increase or decrease in appetites: some dog during pregnancy there appetite drops and they become selective while some its opposite for some dog; they would demand above there usual size of meal but u need to be careful so u dont overfeed during this period

changes in nipple: in first 21th days the nipple colouration change to pink . then from day 30th to day45th nipple begins to enlarge due hormonal change and colouration begin to change to red as a result of increase blood flow in this region.

change in behaviour: during this period some dogs seek for more attention while some they want to left alone or indifferent

change in activity : some dogs from day 21 or before the 21thday there energy level drop. instead they sleep more often than usual while .some remain indifferent

increase in the size of abdomen: from week6(day 42) pregnant dogs begin to increase in size . it might be massive/slight increase.

gestation period last from 63-65days though in some cases 70days @most which is not upto 3months

pls take full pix when she is laying, if possible snap the nipple region. my dog vomitted twice this week, her stomach is getting firm even when she is yet to be feed. so am just assuming now she is pregnant still waiting for more visible sign.

well have not been able to send pix from my canon camera becoz is kind of stressfull and time consuming though intend to post it later when am lbuchance. i have deleted previous pix of the stud after getting a good screenshot from the video of the mating using someone else phone.

You could just screenshot the pictures. It'll automatically reduce size and then you can post. Cuz the pictures you posted don't do enough justice to the mating pictures. I was having same issues till I did it. Try it and see.

most of the pix are not on phone camera. i have to transfer the pix to computer first (resize) then send to phone. pix screenshot from my fone is not clear as well

Day 24. I don't even know when to start expecting her tummy to start bulging. But her tits are strong and becoming more obvious now

from day45 u will notice slight/massive increase in her tummy though if the litter is small , u might not really notice. the nipple would be turning from pink to red

my dog came on heat again 2weeks ago though mating was completed last week. after searching for a quality gsd stud that is closer to location. i had no choice than to settle with this top notch stud.
the stud is 30.6 inch tall when standing, massive head, big paws , medium/plush coat and he was imported into the country by a retired navy captain. for now the pix available are the ones i screenshot from the mating videos which is a bit blurry though quality pix are available on my canon camera but i need to resize the pix on computer before uploading it here later on nairaland.

from day 58-downward while some until they deliver before they start to produce milk but note even dog with false pregnancy also produce milk .

the nairaland pet section was open for pet lovers and breeders to market their pet just like other social media

We do not tolerate that kind of behavior on our platform. That is the exact reason we require every seller to provide a verifiable Government issued ID along with Phone numbers which we verify.

you dont knw ur job when an allegation is laid down from 2 or more people about a particular post it is left for u the administrator to do investigation in some well known platform that post will be suspended immediately after a report until investigation is carried out ; i gave u young sammy contact to verify for ur self before he came publicly to do that. neva try to defend what u ar not sure becos u can be implicated alongside
lastly did you check image of id the emmanuel use to register on ur platform to see whether it comform with the one that carry those puppy. from all indication you didnot carry proper investagation. do you knw impersonation is a serious offence ?

You supported someone that said he was scammed and when challenged, you admit you have no evidence.
The only thing you keep talking about is some random Young Sammy. Like we have said, the seller put up German Shepherd Puppies for sale not Young Sammy for sale.
Till we see the evidence that there is no German Shepherd Puppies for sale or that someone has been scammed or lost money, we cannot go against the seller.

Either bring evidence or stay on the sidelines. You are at the risk of maligning a seller, if you do not have that evidence.
