I just discovered most vacancies now come with unimaginable age barrier, meanwhile other countries we adopt and follow their style don't discriminate on age, sex and others. Why is this discrimination from employers? does that mean those that age cut off in their advert cannot perform the duties as those young people. I think everybody should allow be participate in recruitment process, the barrier can come from other crate rials and not age or sex. this should matter should not be allowed to embedded in the society because it does not help society to develop, most especially in country like ours where most things are abnormal. Imagine 98% failure in NECO, the 6months strike of our dear tertiary institution, and companies running to neighboring because of energy, all these would take some days to get through and yet when the time comes to apply there is barrier of age.

Guys Enough is enough!!! say no to age discrimination to jobs advert.

Please i need your help on this issue, i travelled two year ago to study abroad for my Master,(Marketing) i came back home in September 2009 after my Master programme, since then i have been seriously looking for job with my qualification and experience but no response from any applications.
I am regretting that i came back home and even some of my friends have started to mock me why did i come back home, that i should have study the situation before i make my move. The mistake i made was i did not apply for my post study visa before coming back, though i have the chance to apply from naija but it difficult to raise the money from naija as i am jobless since september. Funny enough i paid my tution fee through the work i did abroad while i was studying, and the surprise now is nobody know when the job will come. My experience abroad was fantastic due to the fact i have started receiving job interviews third week i get there, and up till i left i still receive some job openings through my mail.
Please i need your help should i apply for post study visa, or i should stay and continue the job hunting in naija, i have wife i know time does'nt wait for any1.

Business Studies, when i came in i discovered that it was not easy to go to school and work, couple with the fact that school fees would not be easy to pay, as £8000 per session. I took a break from the university to work for a while, though i gave them another reason for taking the break. I later discovered another University that allow an instalment payment and do not disturb international students till they finish their programme, then applied for the next admission. I worked for 1 year and later started the university to study Business and Marketing Management (MA) with new university.
The authority caught me for working more than hrs required for student during the term-time in july, they seized my pali and the case is still in court, my programme finish this month and i  hope to submit my thesis b/4 d case. I don't know what to do, should i voluntary return home (Naija) as  i understand things are difficult there or i should wait for the outcome of the case.

this efcc is funny, sometimes they think nigerians are hungry for their news or they think we fool like them, i beg just stop the propaganda and fish him out.

God help us, at least if we have not been involved in these scamms the coy would'nt have mentioned our beloved country, we have other countries in Africa which PS do not mentioned. However, a step must be taken to stop those kind of ad. or else we would hv more from other companies. I dont know why an ambassador would come up with a figure without a proof, where is the 80% and 80% of what population, statistics is not just we can assume, 80% is such a huge figure that our leader need to investigate very well, we keep spoiling our image and we think we are doing better by coming out with figures.
