No I am not saying not to expect. I am asking to manage the expectations. In other words taking into consideration, all the factors. Hazard is the most marked player in the League. He is the most fouled player in the league. Yet for the last season, managed to create the most number of chances.
Taking other factors into consideration means understanding that until Pedro, Hazard was our only attacking threat. Everything went through him. Almost every attack through him.
Understanding our team set-up is a pertinent part of this task. Other teams that have players with Hazard's potential don't just have one player who does everything. Neither do they have a paper-thin midfield that cannot retain possession for more than one minute or recycle possession so effectively. Our midfield should retain possession so that Hazard doesn't have to participate in it. He can then be released with precision passes from midfield.
Their Hazard does not have to run back 80 yards to defend with Azpilicueta; only to sprint back another 70 yards towards goal to perform magic.
Their Hazard does not attack alone - without a legit, dangerous overlapping left back. Our Hazard has a right back behind him who never joins the attack. So Hazard is confirmed to always have at least 2 players to beat. Players like Ribery have Alaba overlapping seriously, creating options and reducing pressure and work load on Ribery.
For me, analysing Hazard without taking into consideration, all these important points is not managing expectation. It's just heaping undue pressure on the poor lad.
Name me one player in the world who is saddled with all of these responsibilities.

I was just about to get some screen shots for Amodu. The problem I see here is people cannot manage their expectation of Hazard. I suppose secretly, people want him to bang in goals like Ronaldo and they get frustrated when he doesn't.

Me I no get wahala with Hazard. For me, we have more problems with Fabregas. More problems with Willian who does not create, score or hit the target. We have more problems with Ivanovic and I personally have more of a problem with Costa running 50 yards with the ball to the flanks always.

We have more problems with Central Midfield and we have a massive problem with JM persisting with Falcao as number 2 striker while making Remy sit on the bench and watch the drivel.

We have more problems. What Hazard does not do is the least of them.

I'm very expectant regarding his performance. And I don't think it can be control as I believe he his our best player.

Expecting him to score and assist week in, week out.

Hazard? Don't understand why he has got to stop before moving again? In his defence he is/was always triple-marked but even when he wriggles past them he stops again, thereby allowing them to catch up. He is so much more dangerous when he is moving constantly as opponents don't know how to deal with him. Definitely an angle to work on. IMO, he could be more direct.

Ivanovic and the right side...that na where problem dey. Its like a basket. Can we move Azpi to the right please?

I don't believe he lacks it. You are talking about differing styles of play. Not even Schurrle, Salah, Moses, Kalou, Malouda, all previous wingers for Chelsea, had what Pedro possesses.

He is direct and will not play any other way. What we love as a quality in Pedro is almost frowned upon in Barca as he is seen to be too much in a hurry. If everyone was judged on how direct they can be, Pedro will still at Barca.

What's my point? Hazard does not lack the directness, he just doesn't play direct. Instead he play-makes and very instrumental to our ball retention capability. If we had two Pedros, we will be horrible to watch and it still doesn't make us better.

I like Hazard's unpredictability. In fact, I don't want Hazard running around like a headless chicken when it is clear there are always 3 players in his way.

Now that teams have seen Pedro, there will be more to worry about and less doubling up on Hazard, then you will see more from him.

We are on the same school of thought as regards the last paragraph.

Nevertheless, I can't deny the fact that Hazard is a delight to watch but his end products which I tag as ineffectiveness is an eyesore and very saddening.

Don't be surprise if at the end of the season Pedro will record more goals and assists than him.

Reiterating my earlier point, the strikers we possess now are quite different from those ones of the past.

Mourinho is not an experimental coach; for him to think of giving it a shot, then he his of the believe that it will work and if doesn't, I know he will never hesitate or waste time to retrace his step.

Putting Hazard in the midfield is limiting him and makes him disappear in matches.
