airmark:There’s definitely valid frustration over Chelsea’s transfer decisions in recent windows. While the idea of long-term squad building is commendable, poor spending and misjudged signings have created a situation where the club is now scrambling to offload deadweight instead of reinforcing key areas. The signing of players like Veiga and Felix, only for them to be loaned out, raises serious questions about planning and squad management. Likewise, investing in washed or unfit players instead of directly addressing the club’s most pressing needs—like a top-quality striker, which has been missing for over a season—is baffling. Instead of spending wisely to fill weaknesses, money has been thrown at experiments that haven’t yielded results. Of course, mistakes in transfers are not exclusive to Chelsea. Even a well-structured club like Manchester City has had unclever spending, with Jack Grealish and Doku failing to live up to expectations. No club gets every transfer perfect, but the real issue is whether lessons are learned and adjustments are made in future windows. For Chelsea, it’s time to shift from reckless spending to precise investments. The club must prioritize strategy over impulse, ensuring that every signing aligns with the squad’s actual needs rather than just taking unnecessary risks. Hopefully, the errors of past windows serve as a wake-up call, pushing the club toward smarter decisions moving forward. |
nateevs:While the club's approach to sustainability and long-term planning is commendable, Chelsea fans are understandably feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. The shift from the Roman Abramovich era—where spending was aggressive and immediate success was prioritized—to a more strategic, data-driven model has created mixed emotions among supporters. Fans don’t just crave financial prudence; they want results. They want a team that competes at the highest level, not just promises of future dominance. Spending on young talents is great, but when performances on the pitch don’t reflect ambition, skepticism arises. The disappointment stems from recent inconsistencies, managerial instability, and unconvincing performances despite significant investment. Yes, ownership is ensuring financial longevity, but fans still need to see clear progress. Winning is the culture Chelsea fans were raised on. If the strategy doesn’t translate into immediate improvements, patience will continue wearing thin. The demand is simple—smart spending is fine, but results must follow. Let’s hope the latest signings bring tangible success on the pitch, rather than just looking good on paper. |
Chelsea scored 120 goals this season and and still leads the big chances missed

If not commended for anything, I will praise Maresca for managing Recce James so well |
Chelsea are expected to move quickly after the UEFA Conference League final to sign a new striker 📝

BlueMann:You can say that again |
timbros:There's no better way to describe this than the words of Nateev, "INTELLECTUAL DISHONESTY". |
airmark:Top the table over a league winner, Manchester City and Arsenal that went toe to toe with them for the league? Dangling in mid-table this time last season and now in the top four with little point difference with those occupying the top 3 is an improvement from the previous season and an acceptable return on investment. You need to leave that dreamland and join us in reality. Jackson has missed 4 big chances and Haaland missed 3 this season while last season, Jackson missed 24 in 35 league games and Haaland missed a massive 34 in 31 league games. Disdain for him has gotten the better of you. It rains everywhere. Jackson is not an exceptional player, he isn't below par either. What he lacks in his finishing, he compensates for in all-round team play, an aspect he outshines Haaland. As an adult, you should have vacated your childish shell and emptied immature traits and life experiences should have shaped you to embrace discernment, relinquish dogmatism, do away with excessive expectations and come to terms with validity. Leave this mouth blabbing, enu o se. |
airmark:Perhaps you shouldn't have opposed the assertion prioritizing support cast. It's conflicting to oppose that and at the same time desirous of a LWF. The idea of reinforcement is to get the job done by winning us games and that is happening already. Castigating a player who has outscored all EPL strikes bar Haaland and Duran, and complemented it with 3 assists is hatred taken too far. Gen Z? That shouldn't be me. I am mate with your elders on here. You need to know that dogmatism is not the same as discernment. |
nateevs:And there they will remain permanently. A permanent state of shut up. The manner in which we responded to the first goal, bombarded and flooded them with countless chances is a hallmark of fine coaching. I remember how we struggled against a high-pressing team last season, yesterday's game would have resulted in a loss. Kudos Enzo Maresca! |
airmark:You can proudly say this now, but when you were told that supporting cast is more important than signing another SF, you strongly disagreed. The attack you badmouth has been responsible for our 15 goals, the highest in the league so far. No single goal scored by a defender yet. The same set of attackers; Jackson, Madueke and Palmer doing the job. Rest and stop being dogmatic. |
Whizlight:Don't bring that inept and good-for-nothing Poch into the discussion jawe. A coach lacking in all elements of coaching. It was very apparent last season that we lacked approach, setup, grit, tactical prowess and good coaching. Nateev shared this view repeatedly and opined we would get better with an upgrade. Here we are just 6 games into the season. |
airmark:Looking for a soft landing for him ba |
Enzo Maresca is the undisputable September Coach of the Month. I think our gaffer deserves to be applauded with the same energy he was criticized when signed. |
Another decision made by an individual and not stakeholders for a supposed all-important education sector |

Ballzproblem2:Imagine Same guy they wanted to sell to us for €37 Craze dey Athletico head |
🔵🇺🇦 Enzo Maresca on Mudryk: “We're going to try to help him to change”. “Most of the mistakes of Misha are not quality… no, they are about the decision making”. Apart from his input on the collective team, he's also giving attention to individual players and helping them as appropriate. In Maresca I trust. |
obonujoker:So if something like this is done in your state, it will shared for free? Make una dey use that thing once in a while. |
Not even a full fledge LGA but just an LCDA ooo Eko O Ni Baje ooo

The Chairman, Mayor Dele Oshinowo Wrote: Last year, when I commissioned the 101 units at Greenwich Gardens, I made a promise: we’re just getting started! Tomorrow marks a major milestone as we commission Raymond Estate and Sterling Heights, offering a combined 170 units of 2, 3, and 4-bedroom apartments. To be commissioned by The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu. Come witness this greatness with us. This is Agboyi-Ketu, where we are redefining grassroots governance.

atiku4President:Don't mind them, u fit come for midnight with irin tutu |
airmark:Meaning, we didn't do bad as speculated. It just amplify the need for a prolific striker. |
I'm trusting in the process because in Enzo Maresca, I see capacity and competence. |
It's no crime trying out different possibilities in preseason, that's exactly what it's meant for. Conceded goals were obvious errors as a result of pressure. I'm imagining the absence of those misplaced passes, it would have been a fair result on the part of Maresca. Additionally, if Marc Guiu and Noni Madueke didn't squandered those chances, it could have made a huge difference. Maresca, should please not bow down on his philosophy and testing his tactical ability with opportunity preseason avail him. We'll get better with consistency |
keymatt:You guys are unable to edit the Action Bitters the hungry woman is using to hold body |
BlueAngel444:That makes it 8 goalkeepers. Quite much. |
I think our goalkeeper choice should be in this order. However, the list should be prune down to 3 and if I have my way, I will have Kepa replace Sanchez.
