To me, majority of that vote was from yemi and I can't say the same with the the other pair in question.

You can't be sure of that. Nelissa has a visible fànbase, Justin doesn't.

Yvonne doesn't have to do any of that to get votes though. Even Kanaga. So why Yemi?

I watch BBN for the content and sometimes even choose my fave on that basis. However a lot of people don't. If they feel the person has the asthetic they like, they stick to him or her and vote.

I like Yemi and I wish he was still in that house. I believe he'd have been a penultimate week evictee or even a finalist but the pairing was to his detriment. However, I do not chuck his leaving to anything he did or didn't do. If his fans didn't vote for him because of what he did or didn't do, then they are not true fans and should not be included in the scheme of things. BB fans go harder for their faves even when they mess up.

I remember when Laycon was following Erica like a lost puppy, his fans were mad but what they never did was lift their foot from the pedal, even when they become frustrated. That's the nature of this game.

No content Yemi delivers would have made a difference. Just the little dalliance he had with Blue has him losing a portion of his fànbase to her.

He's damned if he does and equally as damned if he doesn't.

Yemi would have stayed longer in the game if it wasn't for the pairing, that's for sure. But he's still not up there up there. Except for Juiolva that might have equal or close to equal fànbase for either of the pair, a lot of the other pairs have one party doing the heavy lifting. So say they'd been unpaired and Yemi gets nominated alongside the heavy weights, he might still be evicted.

Efe, Laycon, White money had average looks and not so great bodies but they came with strategies that got them their wins

His looks couldn't save him the moment he settled and stopped giving drama

I really don't think Yemi was a contender to begin with. Probably just hoovering in the mid way point right from the beginning. He just had very loud fans that makes you believe otherwise.

I don't think there's anything he could have done that would have helped his game. If he had moved to Aiva, he'd probably have faced more backlash.

He was even fortunate to have been nominated from the beginning which would have been good for him if he has diehard fans, unlike Ike that was hardly ever nominated and never had the chance to build his fànbase, add that to having a lot of other strong contenders in his season.
