What service do you render on fiverr. How has it been for you so far?

Programming and Dissertation writing service. My experience on fiverr has been awesome but there is a little twist to it.

Frankly, it isn't easy to get clients when you are a beginner on that platform and have no review coz u av alot of competitors. What worked for me is that I leaverage on my network of frds to kick start my freelancing career.

During my Msc programme in the US, I had about 4 frds I assisted on their coursework. After my first job with them, I pleaded with them to create an account on fiverr.com and invite me for further jobs which they all did. Tho it may sound stupid to some cos I was loosing a few bucks to fiverr but I was building my profile via positive reviews from these guys.

Here is my advise. Let's take for example you run a dissertation writing service, u can start by calling some of your frds pursuing their Bsc or Msc degrees in the US, UK, Canada etc to find out how they are coping with the rigours of the programme. You will be surprised some of them don't even have the time to study cos they have to work to complete their fees. You can help them bridge that gap by helping them with their coursework and this doesn't come cheap. A 4000 to 5000 words coursework depending on the difficulty can range from around $200 to 500 ( either fixed or hourly at $10 to ...$).

To write a dissertation can range from minimum $2000 upwards coz of the demands of these foreign Universities (coz the research work has to be novel and plagiarism free).

In conclusion, Network, build capacity, and more importantly u have to work the talk.

The crux of the matter is we all have our stories. Yours may have been financial, and others may be healthwise, emotional, death of family/friend, betrayal from family/friend, heartbreak, or even ‘spiritual’. No one really wins a prize for having the most problem in life, or does anyone? He has not had any job since he finished nysc at 25years and has been managing to teach home lessons to sustain himself. He cannot apply for gt roles now because most require one to be at most 25 or 26years old, neither can he apply for experienced hire because he has no relevant experience. He is stuck in the middle. He overheard his uncles mocking his dad for wasting his money in sending him to a private school with nothing to show for it. The dude drank sniper recenly but didn't die. I am now housing him and hoping good fortune from nnpc will smile on him. The guy is a academically ok. Graduated with cgpa of 3.78.

So sad. I really feel for him. During my undergraduate programme I was studying around 5hours daily and I had the notion that several companies would come looking for me when I distinguish myself. Little did I know that the country is so messed up that I can't even predict how my life will pan out in 5 years.

How has the mighty fallen. I spoke with a frd whose dad works at NPDC Benin, he told me NNPC, shell and the likes used to come to FUTO several years ago to conduct recruitment exercise for top performing students in Engineering. Now even with excellent results I dont knw what life holds for me. Thank God for fiverr. We shall all succeed IJN.

Omo, when I saw the crowd during the NNPC CBT and the questions I later saw, I nearly gifup.

When I saw the crowd I thought we were in for a difficult one only to be disappointed with the questions. I honestly thought everyone was gonna pass the exam and was surprised only 20% made it to the interview.

Good day all.

I was just browsing today about the chances of one without connect to get this NNPC Job. During my search, I saw the 2011/2012 niajaland thread 'Your interview experience (GT and EH)' which is around 30 pages. I quickly skimmed through pages 1 to 23 until Apl calls started rolling in. Though the main platform then was NHJ but I realised most successful applicants studied engineering and some in finance related courses. I am really worried coz on that thread only one IT GT got in.

What is the fate of an IT GT in this recruitment?

This is the first and only government Job I have applied to and I must confess it's the most mentally draining recruitment I have ever undertaken.
Prior to my interview on the 5th of July, I had registered to take IELTS on the 27th of July. The addictive nature of this thread didn't allow me study hard enough as I was glued to my phone 24/7. As a consequence, I didnt get the desired score and also wasted 75k. From my experience, my obsessive daily thoughts about how life would be alot better when Apl comes was my greatest undoing. Fortunately, I retook the test and got my desired band score.
Here is my advise. While we wait, plz learn a new skill, apply to other jobs, scholarships etc., and more importantly learn to manage expectations.

All the staff NNPC employed from 2012 are not part of that scheme. They are on contributory pension scheme and have RSAs like anybody else.

Oh really. If that is the case I already have a RSA. Which ever is the case we will be fine.

Not true about the pension account. From what I knw, NNPC has its own pension scheme which covers both NNPC and DPR staff.

I heard the rumour about 2 months ago but the source was from a staff on SS5. In his claim, the contract staff issue lead to the EH cancellation. However, I don't think it's true and strongly believe it's just mare assumption from some staff.

Same experience bro. I came here about 7 weeks ago to share the sad news about the possibility of cancellation. I was called severally names as though I am not a hopeful. If I had disregarded my source and opted to say Apl will be out within the week, I believe I would have had over 40 likes.

Atm, all HR lips are totally sealed and I guess they have their reasons.
