Icon4s: I pray you live up to the expectations son.
But me I have learned not to be so excited or get carried away. Cement your place in the Roma first team first and come and do the talking on the pitch. Exactly sir and i think this weekend is the perfect opportunity for him to cement his place as Roma's right back.Peres the starting RB went off injured in their last game and wont be back until late september while Nura is the only other recognised right back in the squad.Roma's next game is against Inter Milan and the coach might not fancy throwing him in the deep end with him ending up playing against Ivan Perisic the deadly Man United target who plays LW for Inter but i think if he works hard in training and he can convince the coach with his performance then he might find himself starting against Milan and if he impresses against Perisic he can push Peres down the pecking order.Remember he is already a fan's favourite in the club which further enhances his chances. |

Humility017: why don't you see the possibility of deploying etebo to the wings.... Oh brilliant idea,he has the pace to burn and he is a goal threat. He is no slouch on the ball and if he performs well in the role in traning then i am comfortable with him starting on the wing.Etebo as LWF while Victor Moses plays RWF.Musa comes on in the second half with John Ogu to solidify, add physicality and numbers to our midfield and we hit them on the counter. |

Joebie: Aina, Kayode.. Who next?.. I want to hear you make a strong case for someone else.. hahaha So you want to say you have not seen me post Joel Obi's stats and call for his invitation in the subsequent SE matches if he is not injured? Or wish Nura Abdullahi a injury free season so that he will also challenge for the RB spot?. |

Joebie: don't use that word massive talent.. that's a hype. Trust me, i've watched the lad. Will you drop your opinion, should he miss out on a mention in subsequent rounds? Sure. Why not?,If the whoscored team of the week panel sees a RB who has better stats than Aina after the round of matches for the week then the RB would be in the team of the week.Nominations are solely based on performances and if he continues to perform well and have better stats than the other RB's in the subsequent rounds of matches then he will continue to be nominated ahead of them because his stats is better than theirs. |

I'm happy he is in the list, and Im praying he helps us fortify our defense somewhat.. but please.. that massive talent comparison small small o. LOL,No hyping bro and i am not being tribalistic. However, the fact that he's got nominated in the whoscored's team of the week twice in 4 rounds of games speaks a lot about his talent and potential and remember this is his first taste of professional football so he can only get better. |

AIG07: if Aina can make it from the championship, I don't see reason why Aluko should be excluded. Being in the championship doesnt stop his invitation.Aluko just seem to me not to be lucky,Right now i will pick him ahead of Moses Simon because he trumps Simon in every aspect dribbling, technical ability, final balls, decision making, experience, tactical flexibility, can play AM and RF e.t.c. Watched his last season highlights on the tube few days ago and he still got it,you can also take a moment to watch the clip and see for yourself! |

Lordabas: Ola aina isnt as good as people make him out to be. Always: Has high energy Good at tackling no idea about positioning. loses the ball often going forward. He's just an ok player. I know hes only 20 still has time to develop but we need a proper rb When last did you watch the kid,His positioning only need polishing IMO,He is a better dribbler than Lingard and Sterling and he is not an OK player,he is a massive talent with tons of potential. And who is that your proper RB? |

safarigirl: if Victor Moses is there, I honestly don't see the need for Kayode , all these ones about pace and dribbling on counter, that's Musa's forte.
The list is fine IMO, it's not like we are missing one prolific goal scorer. The burden and pressure will be too much on Moses and you know his own case is special attention from the cameroonians, they can even manmark him but with kayode we form a fluid attacking front three which can interchange positions and escape special attentions from their defenders.Musa will be a second half sub IMO |

Joebie: As much as I like Kayode's development, I must say he's been invited to camp. Rohr has seen him. He knows best. I am curious though what Rohr has in store as regards Cameroon seeing some new players on standby. My brother Rohr goofed if big time by not inviting kayode.A versatile forward who can play anywhere across the front line, A striker who can drop deep and contribute to the teams build up play, A forward who can burn cameroon's with his pace on the counter and with his dribbling skill and create chances for the likes of Moses is not invited?Even if he doesnt start he can be a impact sub in the second half but Rohr thinks otherwise. |

TheGoodJoe: Unfortunately, I did not watch the CHAN match and so, I can not comment on his quality. I will try to catch his next game. I will be honest. I have exhausted my patience with Echiejile. You can not keep making the same mistake for years. If he can not learn to cover his back, then the coaching crew must work hard to unearth someone who can. Exactlly sir,all Nigerian coaches want is winning and not putting into account who had a bad game in the win.For example, look at Chelsea`s pursuit of Alex Sandro even with the good performances of Marcos Alonso. All we have is abundance of wingers,DMF`s and Strikers while there is No quality in our defence except Balogun and Ekong who has a lot of potential and he is even playing in Turkey talkless of depth or quantity.I think the NFF should get their acts together and get a special scouting team for defenders, bring them to camp and pick the best for each defensive positions.Even if NFF can`t do it, Rohr can get his team together headed by his video analyst and scout for good defenders but as i said ealier he seem to me like a coach who is contended with winning and doesnt give a F about who puts on a shitty performace in the win. |

Joel Obi`s stat from the 76 minutes he played on the pitch yesternight:Pass accuracy of 88.1%, 5 interceptions, 5 long passes, 59 short passes, 2 tackles won, 3 aerials won, 3 key passes, 1 assist. I am not hyping the guy oo but just impressed with him after his comeback from injury, hope he put his injury woes behind him and also keep playing well. Elsewhere Nura Abdullahi was on Roma`s bench yesterday but didn`t come on but i think he will get his chance in the cups and some other games. |

TheGoodJoe: Sentiments aside, we do not have any player in the class of Mikel in our team. Maybe in the future our young lads will carve their separate niches to excel but for now he is the only one who can bring that exceptional touch to the midfield.
His attributes of reading the game, both offensively and defensively, his simple but highly intelligent connective passes, his positioning and through passes is one of the assets of our team.
For now, no one from Esiti, Ndidi, Onazi, Ogu, Aluko, Ajagun, Ifeanyi Matthew, Nwobodo, C. Nwakali, K. Nwakali, J. Obi etc.
From the whole pack, we lack a player close to Mikel in intelligence and touches. I agree with safarigirl on this. We stand a better chance with sixty minutes of Mikel than none at all. He is a special player. Sir,did you watch the CHAN eagles match and would you rate the left back that played. His he anywhere near good or just average because i am seriously shopping for a better LB than the experienced echiejile who should also be blamed for that S.A loss as he did nothing going forward, exposed Awaziem all game, faulty in his defensive duties as S.A first goal came through a cross from his flank, failed to step up as a leader for the young team being one of the most experienced.I don`t blame players but the guy really pissed me off with his shitty performace in the match. |

He is a special player. Mikel is a special, talented and intelligent player but i think it`s high time we stop blaming the S.A loss on the absence of Mikel from the team,Rohr himself bottled that game with his midfield selections, bad tactics,No Plan B and the atrocious long balls Onazi with a low passing accuracy was hitting to Nacho all game.Mikel`s experience would have been a major boost for the team in the game but he was unfortunately absent and we must learn to cope in his absence, Balogun would have done Mikel`s job from the back and also bring experience to the team,Victor Moses would have also silently done his own job bring experience to the frontline and effectively drag the team to victory. Now we know Onazi and Ndidi should never play together again,we saw what Ogu and Ndidi brought in the Senegal game and now i can`t wait to see what Ndidi and Joel Obi will bring to the team. The player i see close to Mikel right now is Joel Obi,dude offers you stabiliy in your midfield as he always keeps it simple, top notch pinpoint passing accuracy, pushing the team forward by starting attacks with the ball at his feet, excellent reading of the game, good positioning and a natural CM who also defensively does a job. However, he is still no where near Mikel`s leadership skills and experience but we can expect him to effectively replace Mikel on the football part while Balogun and co provides the team with experience and the leadership part. |

Humility017: but some of these first team players are match rusty nah they've not been playing...like Moses Simon, omeruo, and even musa Ahmed Musa`s invitation is sure whether match rusty or not. However i wont mind if a home based defender is invited in place of Omeruo because he brought this upon himself with his defensive errors, turkey loans and he is not even different to akpeyi in terms of his confidence. He has been playing with under 18 players at chelsea because they feel he is not good enough and that is his class which would have really damaged his confidence.Honestly,i feel for the guy because few days ago i was checking out Nigeria 2014 world cup squad which led me to squawka and the way they were praising and raving on his sterling performance against Bosnia with his age really makes me happy but when i remember his present predicament i just couldnt help it.I think he should be excused from the squad to sort out his future as we just dont need him with this his present state. |

Also, I dont even see the difference between Newcastle and Girona as both are coming from relegation and both can also go back to their championship so its still a win-win for Kayode.Hope he hits double-digits for them before going back to City! |
