Meanwhile his age mates would be overwhelmingly be playing U18 & U23 in the EPL.

Nonetheless, if you put Gabriel in the current Chelsea team considering they have always played with a true number 9. I dont think he will do better than Tammy.

City's system fits Gabriel like a glove and he is excelling before players move they need to be true yo themselves and thier unique abilities and know if the club will complement thier skill set or DESTROY IT.

I used Odemwingie's 2014 call-up, to compare to the clamour for Ejide now, because they are more similar. Shola never had a cap, Ejide debuted in 2001. Shola never featured in an international game, Ejide has been to multiple of those, with the medals to show. Ejide has achieved a lot on the international scene, Shola had nothing.

Like I said, different scenarios and different people. Shola even got his cap months before a major tournament, the World Cup, there is no major tournament for Ejide to look forward to. That is why I said the best time for him to be called up has passed

You misunderstand why I always mention K.Nwakali.

I always consider among the prsopects that can make our Super Eagles mighty in the long run. That is all my mention of the lad does... Which is.... "Focus on his potentials and what it could mean for us if he stays true to them." If K.Nwakali comes good, he would give us more dynamism as a CAM and then a DLP depending on tactical set ups.

But to have him walk into the team is another matter. We have iwobi. K.Nwakali is not worthy of a SE shirt yet but is always in the picture as a pad that could come good if his club career picks up nicely again. His immense potentials is what keep him in the conversation of prospects ... But never have I said he should immediately called up to the team. We even and deservedly so have Aribo now who can fill in while the likes of Eze would come through with time I hope.
