Your anger and xenophobic mentality is one of the reasons why Nigeria will never move forward, what has the English national team or even the current English people has to do with Nigeria politics? England gave Nigeria independence on very stable grounds but our greed and corruption is what destroyed the country and not the British, the only mistake British made was giving us independence, I wish they were still ruling us, we would have been a much better and developed country by now, you mentioned that the British milked us, I don't see our politicians doing any better, our own brothers are milking us a 100 times more than the British since independence.

Each generation of politicians and military regime has been worse than the one which preceded it, they all milked us more than the British, Azikiwe, Awolowo and co all brainwashed nigerians that we are much better ruling ourselves which was a big lie, our history has now shown that.

Please stop blaming the British for our problems which is solely caused by our our greed, avarice and incompetence. We only have ourselves to blame. In Nigeria what politicians do is to always find someone or something to blame for their incompetence even though it's very obvious it's their fault.

I'm not the Fifa or the referee but a high boot like that is a foul in football. He endangered the safety of his opponent, maybe you should check the fifa rules before you complain.

Croatia has been much better than England in the 2nd half and deserve to be level but their goal should have been disallowed, that was a very high boot by Perisic.

English goalkeeper Pickford made some important saves in this game, it's like he had magnetic hands, Raheem Sterling was very poor, he has the skills and pace but he has the decision making of a 3yrs old and an IQ of a 6 yrs old child, He's gonna cost England a vital win soon at either the semis or the final. I will be very happy if England wins the world cup but I know that they are not good enough to win it, they will need a big miracle for that to happen.

Wicked Indians! world cup favourite for you abi? cus for me Belgium has been my favourite from the unset. if you know football well and know those Belgian guys very well you will know that they are a collection of first team players from EPL top five teams. Belgium would have been batter had Martinez not been playing KDB off position. Eden hazard is a class above Neymar and Chelsea's coutois just decided to turn up today

Belgium only beat Brazil because of Brazilian players like Fernandinho, Coutinho, Neymar and Jesus had a poor game and they also got a bit lucky with a clear penalty decision that wasn't given and some balls into the box that didn't quite set up for any of the Brazilian players to finish, Hazard played well today but he's not a class above Neymar, he has had worse tournaments than Neymar before, was below average in 2014 world cup and Euro 2016.

Belgium has had a strong squad for like 6 years but never reached a semi finals of any major tournament with that squad, they are one of the dark horses to win this world cup before it started but they were never the favourites to win it because of their previous poor performances, I believe France can now win it if they can beat Belgium but if Belgium wins it then they become the favourites to win the world cup.

It's been a weird world cup, I think this is the first time that I've seen neither Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Spain in the quarterfinals of a world cup. Its been an exciting tournament but the only sad thing is that it's become an Euro cup since its only European teams in the semis and no African teams made it to knockout stages.
