The course I intend to do can't be done in just any UK university. That's why. |
I find the whole thing quite surprising. As a matter of fact, the university I got admission in has given me till the end of July to pay my deposit or forfeit the admission. I don't even know how to proceed now. |
What time did you guys get the invitation? |
Pre-Science form starts to seel around the october ending or november beginning. So that's when you can buy it. |
When it enters "admission pending", the only thing next is prayer coz what follows after primary list is VC's list and that's a "connection" stuff. I will advice anybody who didn't get admission to get diploma form and seek admission into diploma. You can be there and write JAMB next yr. If at all you still don't get admission next yr, if you pass ur diploma exams, you will surely get admission into regular program. Time waits for no one. |
Unizik Diploma application is on for more info follow Sylnit Technologies on facebook http://www.facebook.com/pages/Sylnit-Technologies/120708174640737?ref=ts&v=wall |
I learnt that if you want to study philosophy and you didnt choose the school as first choice, you can go to ETF in Okpuno(INEC Road) to register. Hurry if you are interested. |
Instinctg, you are the man. Whether first 1st class or not, the truth is that we know the true worth of a man by what he accomplishes with the so much knowledge he has. We have many people who had 2:1 in public school who should have had 1st class if not for the wickedness of some lecturers. So if Covenant provides an enabling environment for 1st class, let's not beef them. First class is no big deal. At least i graduate with a CGPA of 4.3 from a public uni. You can imagine a lecturer telling students before exams that only 20 out of 80 students will pass the course. What does that tell you? My friend in school once wrote a quiz and 40 out of 70 of them passed, The lecturer said they had to redo the quiz because "too many people" passed. ("Too many people" is 40 out of 70). Nigerians are 1st class people. so let's stop castigating. |

It means that th person has not gainned admission but all hope is not lost until the supplementary admission is released. Good luck. |
Point of correction Mostreall, i didnt promise to take u around campus for PICNIC. As a matter of fact, u dont even need anybody to show u around as d school is not too big for one to take long before knowing everywhere. |
Congratulations Mostreall, im glad for u. What course did u gain admission into? |
School is resuming in d next two week so u can go now while there is no much rush. Travel down to awka and do it yourself to avoid falling for deceitful men. Some guys who are not students parade themselves as students. So be careful. Go yourself and if you must send somebody, send somebody whom you trust, a close relative or a friend. GREAT UNIZIK !! See all of you who are successful in school next month. |
I will be glad to show u around when u arrive by middle of next month. Good luck to all of you. |
ADMISSION STATUS ALERT The list of admitted students for the 2009/2010 session has been uploaded to the University's portal. All eligible candidates who made UNIZIK their first choice are requested to proceed to the banks on campus to obtain the pin with which to log into www.unizikcampusportal.com for their admission status. go to www.unizik.edu.ng to confirm the news. |
Hi Monstreal, im online nw, add me on ur yahoo messenger lets talk, h1samuel@yahoo.com |
I am a 300 level student of Unizik and i can confidently tell you that when you get admission in unizik, you join winning camp. I understand the anxiety in you guys, you all wanting to see the admission list immediately, but hey hold your horses. latest by the end of september, your list should be out. We are supposed to resume by october 2nd. so you guys should chill out because some universities have not even fixed their post ume date. So u should be glad that you have done ur post ume exam, seen the result and are ready for the last phase. God bless u all and God bless Unizik. |
I am 300 level student of Unizik, computer science. My advice to u is dat despite ur score, dont 4get God. Many will score higher than u, yet they might not get admission. God's favour makes d difference. Great Giants,, GREAT ! |
Hey first lady PS(pre-science) is done even before post ume bcoz they are given admission at d same time. Im a student of Unizik 200 level ( computer science). Is it form for next yr admission dat u are asking for? Im in Lagos now but i will be going back to school in d first week of Oct(dats 2 weeks from nw). when i go back i will b able to give u accurate info concerning dat. u can contact me on 08038802031 if u care. |
Cowboyvs, there is no magic wand for staying away from cultism. You are either for the devil or for God. If you dont want anything to do with the cultist, then let your christianity be known to your mates on campus. They might call you holy holy. But never mind, the cultists will see you as bad market for them so they wont even contemplate talking to you about their evil society. |
It simple. Go down to the school and make inquiry about it so as not to be given wrong info. Peace! |
There has been a lot of rumours concerning cut offs at Unizik this 2007/2008 session. some rumoured that the cut offs were 45 for general and 65 for departments like computer science. But calls to the school at the time of filing in this topic confirmed that the school is yet to cut. Please let everyone who has correct information on what is going on put it here so as to save other admission seekers the headache of running to rumour mongers. Anyone who has cut off for any department should paste it here. Thank you in anticipation of your coperation. |
sorry i meant 2006/2007 session |
xerebro please always be sure of something before you say it because you can mislead many with incorrect information. i sat for unilag post ume last yr 2005/2006, Elect/Elect. i had 44 and the department cut 41. surveying and geoinformaticse engineering cut 40. computer engineering was 60. please always endeavour to give only the informations you are sure of. Thanks |
I need to put something right here. A lot of people tell stories of Bill gates being a drop out without a good knowledge of his academic background. Bill gates was an excellent student. His father was a lawyer and as such wanted him to study law. He dopped out of law school because he discovered he didnt really have a liking for law. But why he stopped further formal education was That he wrote the DOS application that ran very well on the first micro computer. He didnt want anyone to go into producing the software before him. Thats why he stopped school. yet he studied hard and still studies on his own. Many professors have failed his exams. yet people refer to him as a dropout. My advice for the one who wants to get a well-deserved first class, not the one gotten by dubios means, is to get serious right from the first day in school. study hard and be CONSISTENT with ur hardwork. A lot of people work hard for a season and then relax and at d end they say they were denied first class. but if u maintain consistent hardwork all thru, u will make it. My two brother have first class, one from unilag---computer science, the other from UNN---surveying and photogrametry. Thanks |
Hey Alexander! How are you doing? Its nice to be in your forum. From the info i got on unizik website, matriculation usually takes place about the 20th of October. But i am yet to hear anything regarding admission list and cut-off. But my friend who is a student of computer science department is going back to school this week. so as soon as he gets back to school, i should get credible info concerning admission through him. However, if i dont get any good info before the week runs out, i will travel down to awka to know what is happening there. Have u heard of any other persons with 70 marks or with scores between 60 and 70 ? Hope to hear from you soon. Peace and Love! |

i believe this post ume stuff is bullshit, because how can one score 273 and all in the name of post jamb there reject the person.it's just cupid.spare me that jist jaire.abeg what ya say? Mexxy, it seems you have forgotten that some people do exams deals, get high marks and thereby serve as obstacle to the people who wrote with their brain. anyone who read for the JAMB and made it should not be scared of post UME which is just meant to authenticate ur claims to ur JAMB score. I beg to differ with u on this as dat is d only way to fish out those who are doing exam deals though some universities still exploit this. ![]() |
