He wants to be President. He has actually contested to be President and would be if he had won.

Also, in case you forgot, Atiku was the last Presidential candidate of the PDP and is the leader of the opposition Party of Nigerian who is always compelled to articulate the stance of his PDP Party and what they will do differently if facing the challenges the ruling Party confronts.

Failing to speak at all is not an option unless Atiku is an insincere politician or a tacit supporter of what is going on right now.


He has made it clear he is contesting in 2023. Why can he not weigh in on a matter of national importance especially when the onus falls on him more than others to show, as a Fulani, he is dedicated to taking tough decisions, regardless of whose Ox is gored, that is best for all Nigerians.

oga Atiku is a private citizen now, he can only share his opinion or criticism to the govt but despite his status there is nothing much he could do. you urging him to speak is like he has something to change or it is an obligation for him to do so. and also remember that there is limit to what a private citizen of his status can say or comment abouy
