benodic: I hope that the house is also aware that many states in the northern part of Nigeria employ non-indigenes under contract appointment . states like kano, katsina, zamfara, jigawa, kebbi, etc. are still doing so till now.

pls anyone with any reasonable information concerning dis NIS recruitment should pls drop, I just heard dat there's been an existing list of names to be shortlisted ever b4 dis exercise started, dat new names would only be added to dat existing list to make up d required 5000 abi 6000 officers. Denigma: Hello Nairalanders, Just this morning I received an email from ''recruitment@nnpcgroup.com'' that I applied to their organization sometime last year (2012) and that I should proceed to their web portal which has been temporarily opened so I can upload my credentials. I was rattled at first but made sure it wasn,t phishing or scam. I logged in my password to ''http://recruitment.nnpcgroup.com/'' and subsequently I saw my details that I typed myself as at that time. Apparently, I had tried to apply last year but their web portal was experiencing technical hitch as at the time I was on it and so I sent my CV to ''2012recruitment@nnpcgroup.com'' and simply forgot about the process. Has anybody received this kind of email too?

s3nn2x: You guys should just forget it. They have recruited those they want to recruit. You know since they could not have their way in MFA recruitment, they would do everything possible to put their people.

You can as well make your enquiries.

Go to FCSC and ask the Director in charge of Recruitment and Promotion about the recruitment of last year.

Or you can go to the various ministries and make your enquiries. I am sure there are people that knows people that work there.

Or you can create a thread and ask Nairalanders about the job.

As for me, when I asked some of my colleagues about the job, they told me that FCSC has concluded the recruitment process.

So, you can imaging the feeling I had when I saw this thread still active.

I know some people would mention FAITH, but it would get to a point when things don't go according to plan that you just have to move on. You tried your best, then leave the rest to God. Remember David story, when his child was sick, that he wouldn't eat and he kept on praying, but when he found out his child was dead, he stood up and started worshiping God.

So, just take heart!

andrewozed: NIS RECRUITMENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED. THIS IS DUE TO SOME LINGERING ISSUES WITH THE RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE, ESPECIALLY WITH THE PAYMENT OF N1000 FEE. THIS IS FROM A VERY RELIABLE SOURCE.
