The recruitment stages include online assessment, phone interview and invitation for Shell Recruitment Day(which is a rigorous exercise, usually throughout the whole day) the online assessment is a competency based assessment.

I feel for the petroleum engineers, they started torturing them from the test stage. It's unfair but you guys shouldn't be discouraged, just remain steadfast in prayer. I studied Chemical Engineering and mine was on fluid catalytic cracking unit in the refinery, I gave it my best shot, the rest is left for God to intervene.

I had that all the people called for the group discussions have 2:1. Please is there any body that proceeded to the next stage with 2:2? Please somebody should answer me.

I doubt if those that have below 2:1 were invited for the test. I think it's strictly 2:1 and above.

Jamanuka has said it all. Shell conducts assessed internship in all their countries of operation. Here in Nigeria they interview best 4th year students in Engineering and Geosciences in some selected schools like UI, OAU, FUTO,ABU,UNIBEN,UNILAG etc. As a graduate you will have to apply for Shell Recruitment Day(SRD).

Shell is very transparent when it comes to their recruitment process. I'm talking from experience, I did assessed internship with Shell in 2012, which is one of the routes to Shell. We were only 7 that were given an offer of internship after phone interview. The 7 of us knew nobody in Shell. At the end, 6 of us were successful after the internship project. 2 of us have been given an offer. The 4 of us are still waiting. I'm just saying this for us to disregard any speculation that Shell is partial in their recruitment. Thanks

I was posted to Akamkpa as my PPA, I was told Akamkpa is one of the richest LGs. I can't believe my eyes, they can't even afford to provide a decent accomodation for corp members, all I saw here was a dilapidated and old bungalow. Obubra camp is far better than this o.
