hostel is good if you go early,water is available but u have to queue,electricity is 7 - 10pm and briefly in the morning, bathroom and toilet hmmmmmm. Make i leave that one for una to judge.

How many hours is the journey of Onitsha to Obubra?

Like how much is t-fare from onitsha to the camp

IF YOU R COMING FROM THE WEST DEPENDING ON SOME TRANSPORT COMPANIES THEY MAY DROP U AT UGEP, SOME MAY DROP U AT ODUKPANI JUNCTION DEPENDING ON THE ROUTE THEY TAKE. IF YOU R COMING FROM MIDDLE BELT AND NORTHERN STATES YOU NEED NOT WORRY, TELL THE DRIVER YOU WILL DROP AT OBUBRA, HE'LL DROP YOU AT THE JUNCTION LEADING TO THE CAMP. I am a prospective youth corp member posted to Cross River too but I have a serious challenge presently.

Firstly, I will be very busy in Lagos till wednesday evening (Camp opens on Tuesday), so my best bet is to fly to Cross River on Wednesday night. I dont know if this is advisable, noting that I have heard that Calabar (where i will be landing) is about 4-5 hours drive to Obruba (Orientation camp).

Secondly, will I still be allowed into camp on wednesday night? and at what time at night will the camp gate be closed and entry will be refused?

you will still be allow into camp on Wednesday.
Leave lagos early and u will reach camp before evening.


Flight to calabar is just 1h. Safe trip bro.

odukpani is not advisable becos they will start another journey to obubra after spending 13hours on the road.

Note that is for those coming from the west.


West corp member should go through onithsha den to obubra.

I'm a 2013 batch C corper, currently in calabar. calabar is nt Wat pple portray it to be....tank God I'm almost thru. no hospitality, foods are xpensive....accommodation:hehehehehehehe! Calabar is d 1st place in my life where after paying ur house rent, u will still pay 4 toilet rent. begging na dier work here. D state allowance is 3k. Jst av it in mind dat d word HELP does nt exit here in calabar. Bleep up town

if u want to redeploy bk to enugu, go wit ur marriage credentials, odawise dey wil redeploy u to ebonyi or abia instead of enugu

pls dnt make mistake of going to calabar frm enugu. Lemme do d break dwon for u. Enugu to calabar is 2200 and its 4 hrs, den frm calabar to obubra is 1500 and its 4hrs, so everytin wil b 3700 plus 8hrs wasted. Den enugu to ikom is 1200, and its 2hrs 30mins, ikom to obubra is 600 and its jst 40 mins. It amounts to 1800 and jst 3 hrs 20 mins. Safe trip. Call 07030387478 for clarification
