This pure gabbage. There is nothing greater than sovreignty or self rule. This far greater than any amount of investment Igbos have outside Igbo land. As a tribe of between 35 to 50 million people, the Igbos have outgrown joining issues with Yorubas and Hausas. It is time for us to have our own country. There are many ethnicities in the south-South who are comfortable with the Igbos than they are with Nigeria and would choose Biafra any day. Wether you like it or not, Igbos must get Biafra and starting charting our own course.
This slimy muck you have vomited did not address the issues.

98% of SS do not support or approve of Biafra.
SS has more wealth, states and clout than SE.
So, who should be joining the other? Certainly not SS joining SE!

Judging by your reasoning and disposition, I don't think you matter as far as SE is concerned.

question is nigeria a prosperous country?are the people who make up nigeria REALLY interested in a prosperous and working Nigeria instead of personal aggrandizement?
No country is without problems but they work hard at solving it. Nigeria must begin with tackling corruption on its way to realising its full potential and prosperity!
PoliticsRe: Lets Think Before Taking The Biafra Issue Further, By Chidi Obi by angelberton(f): 10:46am On Aug 02, 2015
Chidi Obi has reasoned with originality devoid of clouded eyes, unlike the uninformed internet warriors and market traders being manipulated by MASSOB and Kanu who is living fat off the generous donations made by sympathisers.

In truth, there is hardly any corner of Nigeria that an Ibo man has no property or business. The aggregates of these run into hundreds of billions of dollars. There are inter-marriages across virtually every tribe or ethnicity. Should the Ibos who are doing very well across the length and breath of Nigeria, except for Boko Haram which affects all Nigerians, leave and go back to Igbo land and start afresh?

I foresee untold hardship even if that can be achieved, which I doubt. Not least is the fact that almost 98% of South South do not want to be associated with or join Biafra in whatever shape or form. Moreover, majority of Nigerians are prepared to go to war to see that Nigeria remains one indivisible country. Most Ibos are not prepared to undergo another war.

Ibos are the chief architects of their marginalisation in Nigeria. There is a conflict of loyalty! Are Ibos Biafrans or Nigerians? Many of them call themselves biafrans. Nigerians will never vote for a biafran to be president of Nigeria.

Ibos are either biafrans or Nigerians. There are no two ways to it. Either to accept the obvious that they are part and parcel of Nigeria and fight for their rights within a prosperous Nigeria or engage in a fruitless 'freedom fight' for biafra. The choice is theirs to make and to live with its consequences.

Your conceited grouse and confused juxtaposition portrayed inept reasoning.

Nigeria has international partners that are willing to help in recovering stolen funds.

There is a global investigation going on but you would rather place the cart before the horse and start a fallacious prosecution.

Your myopia and dearth of logic is monumental as to render any further discourse with you pointless

Furthermore, Oknojo admitted withdrawing billions of dollars without NEC authorisation. You call this dis-jointed response? You only portrayed embodiment of an oaf with narcissistic gibberish to boot.

The media merely reported what was in the public domain. Any aggrieved party can seek legal remedy.

I have no further interest in your conceited oafish gobbledygook.

Did you say marginalization? I head a core business unit in a public quoted company in Lagos basically 'owned' by a yoruba business mogul. Do you call that marginalization? I was head hunted for the job and i have several yorubas, hausas and igbos amongst others working under me. A word of advice, make yourself relevant and you will hold positions that stand you apart whether you are igbo, yoruba or hausa. I do not feel marginalized because i am not.
You have not listened to the agitators in the SE. If you did, you would not have joined issues with me for stating what was in the public domain.

He most likely has a hand in the missing billions.

Yes, there are balance and checks but these have been thrown to the dogs.

This disregard for sound financial practice enabled GEJ and PDP to empty both state and national treasuries.

PoliticsRe: Ambode Won’t Probe Fashola – APC by angelberton(f): 10:03pm On Jun 24, 2015
hefty4real:
The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has berated the Peoples Democratic Party for asking Governor Akinwunmi Ambode to probe his successor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN).

The APC, in a statement by its Publicity Secretary, Mr. Joe Igbokwe, on Tuesday, said the people of Lagos would not take the PDP seriously if it continues to make baseless and unrealistic accusations.

The APC said it was not a surprise that the Lagos PDP has continued to demonstrate traits that show it as a “jesting group which has no meaningful thing to contribute to the growth and progress of Lagos.”

The statement read, “As laughable and childish as the PDP’s latest rant is, we dare say that we are not in the culture of dignifying confused thoughts of a cabal that has yet to play down their continued horrible fate in the hands of Lagosians.

“With the historic defeat of the PDP at the centre where they ran Nigeria to total bankruptcy and near collapse even with very bounteous oil earnings, it is not difficult to locate why Lagos PDP is hit by a gale of total confusion that finds expression in the inchoate and disoriented ranting it spews out these days as press statements.”

The ruling party said that its achievements in Lagos in the last 16 years were visible to even the blind.

It said it was hypocritical of the Lagos PDP to criticise Fashola for doing well but continued to praise the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan who emptied the nation’s treasury.

The APC said the Lagos PDP was only crying because it had lost its source of funding which was the Jonathan-led administration.

It said, “Let us recall the sordid events of the last electioneering period when out of desperation, the PDP practically relocated to Lagos, where former President Jonathan unleashed billions of illicit dollars and pound sterling to buy Lagosians.

“He procured hoodlums and touts of all shades and mobilised them to lay siege to Lagos. He commissioned a very dangerous hate politics aimed at greatly dividing Lagosians along tribal lines, commissioned a band of religious merchants to sell the rotten PDP message but these not only failed him and the PDP woefully in Lagos, it also failed to prevent the huge defeat he and the PDP suffered in the general election.”
