CSTR2:These problems resulted from Mrs Patience and Mr Ebele Jonathan's mismanagement of Nigeria and not President Buhari. |
This list is not exhaustive enough. The PDP 16 years reign of corruption meant that from president down to the door-mat man were all tarnished with the same brush of infamy. The best way forward is to probe the last six years of GEJ government when looting public treasury had become the norm rather than the exception. Given this scenario, it is doubtful if any of the current PDP lawmakers or governors can sail through. This is not party politics but the deplorable sight of Nigeria with a begging bow in hands going to foreign institutions to borrow money in order to pay workers' salaries is the height of thieving infamy! This PDP record is nefarious and stands for eternity. |
Sunnycliff:Arm-robbers and kidnappers cause major havoc impersonating the military by wearing such uniforms. Better to stop their wide-spread use by these other scums than fear "unnecessary tension". |
MuguliciousMUGU:How is appointing Amaechi as leader of Germany amount to fulfilling his promises to you? Get real, boy! |
YoursGEJ:Your fear is unfounded. Nuclear is the way forward for Nigeria. The scientific windfall from such a programme will rapidly advance Nigerian science and technology, physics, medicine, electricity etc. Borrow a leaf from India, Brazil, South Korea, China etc., and the advances they have made since the second world war when they were just peasants. |
This singular Chibok event went down in annals of History as Nigeria's weakest government presided over by Goodluck E Jonathan. |
shItGBO:Have you forgotten that they say they are Biafrans and not Nigerians? So, how can you expect Biafrans to employ a Nigerian who is a foreigner to them? Their tribal bigotry is their undoing and marginalization in Nigeria. |
naijainfogalery:Have you forgotten that the problem in the north is largely of Boko Haram? Even this is chiefly at the North Eastern part. Safety in this context is relative and does not mean absence of violence. If it were not so, then the whole South East is not a contender because armed robbery, kidnapping and human ritualism have their major factories there. ![]() |
Gejpresident:Who be you? The Nigerian Army will not even waste bullet on a small fly like you but lash you with koboko 10 times. ![]() |
The savings from fraudulent oil marketers, demurrage and subsidy will more than off-set lose of VAT from imported fuel. The investment in refineries will mean more jobs for Nigerian, transfer of technology and cheaper oil for Nigerians. Those with some experience of working in an oil environment, be it at the sea ports, or loading or off-loading etc., can be recycled with minimum training to work in the expanding domestic oil sector. As Nigeria becomes self-sufficient in fuel and allied petroleum products, resources will be freed to invest in other sectors of our economy. With a growing and expanding economy, there will be plenty of job opportunities. |
Too much wild fires going around that it is difficult to see clearly amidst the smokescreen of this grapevine story. |
southniyikaye:Don't take your eyes off the truth! Was Jonathan not asleep for six years while BH wrecked havoc across Nigeria? How do you expect the Army to fight a winning war with second-hand weapons, some as old as 1975? It all part of elaborate and overwheling corruption of this administration, which encompassed the military itself. |
barcanista:Whom do you speak for, yourself or SS or SE or mere wishful thinking? Strange under Nigerian Constitution that you want to control resources on land that belongs to Federal Government! |
adeaks:Wont stop her from cheating though. |
kodded:Just as d thing dey follow arm-robbers and rapist! |
simpleseyi:It seems PDP is fast becoming SS/SE party. If they fail to make serious in-road into other states of Nigeria, they will be a diminishing force. As for the choice of G. Akume as Senate President, no unmitigating disaster can be greater than this choice. George Akume was a previous governor of Benue State who almost bankrupted the state treasury. Truth be told, he is unfit to hold any further public office, let alone senate presidency! |
@poster, it seems you have been asleep all this while when every news medium and IMF/World Bank have been singing from the roof top that Nigeria is the biggest economy in Africa, in terms of GDP! |
CountDracula:Afraid of the truth? The courageous woman spoke for millions of Nigerians and the entire world, given the global campaign being waged on behalf of Nigeria with an ineffective president at the helm; who allowed the continuation of such atrocity. |
kendrick9:Do not forget that all land in Nigeria belongs to the FG and not the individuals or tribes that occupy them. You forgot the North is the bread-basket of the Country. |
What is GEJ fearing? |
How did GEJ come about N155m? |
Any governors owing workers' salaries should be investigated as to where the money has gone and if found wanting or corrupt should have all their ill-gotten assets confiscated. |
