Forget the fact that they did not qualify for the World Cup; what Eric Chelle has done for this team is unbelievable. They are flat track bullies and can beat any team in the world right now. They are playing in Beast Mode and the team is too strong, experienced, confident and very tough to beat! No team in this AFCON will pray to meet them. Fly Super Eagle, Flyyyyy!!!!

Business › Re: Excited Man Flaunts Bundle Of Naira After Exchanging 800 Cedis (Photos/Video) by AngelicBeing: 3:42pm On Jan 10 |
Richtaiwo: Contrary to the drama he’s trying to stage, nothing, absolutely nothing, is easy anywhere in the world. Life is not a roadside promo where currencies are exchanged with vibes and confidence.
So, since he’s proudly waving that bundle of naira and announcing it equals 800 cedis, perhaps he should also enlighten us, how long did it take him to earn it? Or is he implying that the same sweat that coughs out N800 in Nigeria will magically summon 800 cedis in Ghana?
Yes, a thousand dollars today is roughly N1.5 million. Very impressive. But let’s not insult basic reasoning, is the effort required to earn N1,000 the same effort needed to earn $1,000? Is it equally likely that someone will casually gift you N1,000 the same way an American will casually gift you $1,000? If that were true, birthdays in Lagos would look like Wall Street bonuses.
We constantly hear of people earning $2,500–$3,000 monthly abroad. Fair enough. But has anyone ever heard of someone in US, same job category, same skill level as Nigeria, earning $300,000 monthly in the US? If yes, please provide evidence, not vibes.
Yes, the naira is weak. Nobody is disputing that. But turning every exchange rate comparison into a circus act is unnecessary exaggeration. Currency value is not a comedy skit, and economics is not impressed by social media mockery. Let’s tone down the theatrics and apply a little sense, just a little.
Meanwhile, Ghana redominated its currency not quite long ago. I know most don't even understand what that means. No name or region or persons or pictures of LEGS shown or mentioned Excellent post and it has been credited to your social media accounts with us cc: Ribadu and Chief of Defence Staff haha 😆 |

Richtaiwo: Very apt and indeed timely.
Almost everything is abused in Nigeria. Some schools charge parents outrageously high fees for graduation ceremonies. Amounts so absurd that one begins to wonder if the ceremony will be held in the moon. Imagine a primary school graduation costing as much as N500k
The federal government should put an immediate stop to this nonsense before some schools begin to make attendance, or payment, a condition for issuing the First School Leaving Certificate. Excellent response from you, and it has been credited to your political account for future reference. cc: Ribadu and Chief of Defence Staff haha 😆 |

Politics › Re: Governor Fubara Begins Creek Road Market Construction(pics) by AngelicBeing: 3:08pm On Jan 09 |
Politicstoday: Wike vs His Ambition
I read that Fubara has traveled to France to meet with Tinubu. Good. But I doubt if there will be a public showdown between the presidency and Wike.
Tinubu may not speak publicly about the Rivers crisis again because he is not someone who talks a lot unlike the parrot in Rivers, who boasts and issues threats over every move he makes.
Tinubu went out of his way to intervene once and took sides with Wike suspending the governor for 6 months, yet Wike is still attempting to disrupt events and cause endless chaos.
Tinubu understands something critical that if Wike, who is neither president nor someone with Tinubu’s political structure or reach, succeeds in impeaching Fubara, he will become larger than life, and with access to the Rivers treasury, Wike could amass enormous power and eventually pose a threat to Tinubu himself.
We saw a glimpse of this in 2023, when Wike bought off PDP delegates, until those who understood the political chessboard countered him by merging Atiku and Tambuwal’s delegates for Atiku. Tinubu witnessed all of this and knows exactly the kind of political force Wike can become when backed by money.
For this reason, Tinubu will maintain his silence, but he will cut Wike down to size by ensuring he no longer has easy access to funds. At the federal level, Wike no longer controls money the way he once did. What remains is access to Rivers' treasury, because if he loses that, his ambition to be VP or President is dead. So, this is about survival for Wike. And he will rather die than have what will buy him power taken away from him.
The Rivers crisis is about one man's ambition to control Rivers and forcefully be your VP or President in the future. Wike should be resisted. Gbamsulotey hahaha mucheche Hahaha 😂 |

Education › Re: Rusticated In My Final Year In School. Help Please by AngelicBeing: 9:39pm On Jan 08 |
Eriokanmi: In as much as I don't always like sounding religious here, a story like this always pushes me to talk.
In the 90s when schooling in Ilorin, I was preparing for my final exams and in the night, I dreamt that I was caught in an exam malpractice and rusticated. When I woke up, fear gripped me. I was restless. I prayed that night until I was satisfied. I think I shared the story here in the past. I was a book warm and I used to feed my friends during exams.
The day came, it was my final paper and my HOD's course. He was a no nonsense man and his questions were always very tough. God is my witness on this story. A few minutes after starting, a guy was disturbing me, he asked for an answer to a particular question which I had not even solved. He now gave me the ones he had done, that I should pls help him with the one he asked for. I told him to be patient and all of a sudden, he rolled the ones he had done and sent it to me . I was afraid, I hid it inside my booklets. Shortly after that, 5 lecturers entered the hall. They began searching booklets from page to page and i was the 4th on that row.
My seat was close to a window. There was this lecturer leaning on that window from the corridor outside, looking for whom to catch. I was unable to remove the paper from my booklet cos the man would see it if I did, so I became restless. When they approached the 3rd person, something said, remember your dream and I was like, God please help me. The lecturer seen by the window was the one I saw in that dream, wearing same clothes. The exam hall was the same, the seat's position was the same, I was shocked. I quietly removed the paper, squeezed it and forcefully threw it underneath the desk to the back. They rushed at me. They asked what happened and I said my pen fell and they said I should walk out of the dest, as if I was the one they all came for. They searched everywhere, but couldn't see anything. They checked the floor and desk behind me , nothing. They looked and looked at me, now said I should go back to my seat.
I didnt even bother to write further. I submitted and went to a closet to thank God. That was the first time in my life I believed God speaks to us through our dreams. No dream without a meaning. We shouldn't waive it aside if it's a bad one but pray against it. Don't say it will never happen. WOW, l agree with you, God does speak to us via our dreams, nawaooo, God really helped you, you were very close to danger but The Mercy of God Delivered you.... |

Maduro is an anti-imperialist.
Do you know what that means, Mr Fox News head?
He wanted greater domestic control of his nation's oil and gas resources.
Do you even KNOW that it is bowing to western imperialism that generates poverty in developing countries?
Do you actually KNOW that?
So Trump is providing them with ''good leadership'' by forcing them at gun point to buy exorbitant American products?

All indications suggest that another “strategic re-defection” is imminent.
