@ earthrealm, I'm using an Epever tracer A 40amp and the MT-50 remote display.
|
Hello house, Finally got my solar setup running. The amps was really low till I loaded the system with 270watts combined load from my freezer and fridge connected to add loads to the system. Now am recording a max of 700watts from my 6 x 200watts pannel. Got the battery banks to 100% SOC by 12 noon today still watching the system. @ Demerciful , where and how do I get the WiFi box attachment for my charge controller. I have 40amps epever tracer A . It should be compatible.

DMerciful:Ok cool....just one more question, what wire size 6mm or 4mm etc do you recommend for a length of 100ft between CC and panels? Isc is 8.80A while Imp is 8.18A on the panel. |
DMerciful:@DMerciful......each panel has Voc 37.4V... 6 panels. |
@kiekie Your Port Harc0urt client you sent rails breakers and MT50 CC meter to....through waybill. Sorry I didn't get to say thanks here...like they say..better late than never ![]() kiekie1: |
Hello Gurus, my 6 pcs of (200W @ 24V) solar panels are going to be located through 100ft cable lenght from the Epsolar MPPT 40amps CC, What would be the best option in terms of solar panel configuration (ie series or parallel) and wire size to reduce current loss and not exceed Max MPPT input voltage of 100v on a good sunny day. I'm sure there are people here with my same set up maybe with shorter cable distances, but please let me have your suggestions. @Kiekie...my wahala don dey plenty o....if not for leaking pockets that 80amps outback solar charger would have healed my sores on this issue. |

iLoveTheSun:@ iLoveTheSun thanks for the info man.....It really a scared me when I saw them looking different until I did some research and actually got them tested. Its not Sunpower though, I'll watch its performance as time goes on. Got me 4 panels to upgrade my old two 200Ah batteries / 24v inverter system. Here's the label behind it and hey guys just received my Epever tracer controller today too. I'm looking towards the pole mount options to mount the panels to a water tank stand (Diplomatic limitations on using the roof) hope I get good house of sunshine out of shades, hope you guys guide me through alternative mounting options. With you guys all the way" Going green rocks"...

My people,I just received this panel I ordered through konga. It looks really strange without the cell terminals in front of the cells. I don't even want to test it yet. Please can anyone tell me this is not a fake. Nairalanders what do you guys think.

A friend came to me sad last Saturday ,told me the lady of his dreams turned him down when he poped the question. He just won't be convinced that if he had waited till Val night the outcome would have been a Val assisted Yes, what do you think?, he's reading this, for consolation. Regards. |
The fear of Jungle justice kept dare devil thieves and murderers calm for fear of being a victim. The fear of mob action to these class of people was worse than the thought of Police intervention or Gun-battles, but when all that is lost in the senseless senses of cattlemen, to such extent that a mere protest for trespass by subsistence farmers and fishermen can be interpreted as enough reason to murder in territories were these cattlemen were received as symbiotic guests. To the Aboki associating "The Fulani manliness" in this action as a reason for calm, what's the meaning of that , You've been guest all this while but you definitely do not know Niger Delta as a people. |
spoilt:OOOoooppppsss. , wish I had seen your post earlier, Guys don't go that way.I agree with snowdrops post, We can lend a wisdom to give Eve some peace, I like that ![]() Yes, tables do turn and my father-in-law just treats me like a son (-in-law), When we have discussions about my wife, I'm more comforted by the way he communicates his advice, "Ah women", " they are", "they do", "they don't", "they won't", etc etc etc , ![]() so next time time your MIL comes around, try a discussion on a chilled glass of beer, n let the tables turn for you too, Well it works for us, lol ![]() |
Wow, this is just mean, ![]() It's funny how MILs are treated with a 10ft pole by ladies who themselve aspire to be MILs by God's grace. I think it is one of those confusing situations that we men control just to be able to keep the word "I do" in high esteem. You need to know your MIL, own her for the remaining part of her life on earth (God knows how long she has left). Don't be surprised at resulting events from lack of communication between both of you . The man intervenes with an explanation or (truce), that should have happened in a sweet way like mother to daughter if such choices was an option. Never paint a false financial picture, it always fades with the mist and every MIL knows that because they've been there . Ladies, I trust a woman's judgement because she is the one behind the heat but just know that you still need a source of inspiration, a mentor and definitely the one that tutored that man that swept you off your feet and then be ready to reproduce "same" when it is your time to do so, You missed it? then you might end up being the MIL that slept at car park. I guess what goes around comes around, lol ![]() |
martyns303:My wife delivered a baby girl last September and a nurse provoked me by asking stupid questions instead of giving me required answers. My wife came out from that lot to tell me the horror behind the closed doors. A pity that a labouring mother after repeatedly begging for attention gave birth to a dead baby as a result of prolonged labour, all the nurses could do was blame each other in the labour ward, and I'LL NEVER FORGET THE BITTER WAILING CRYS OF THAT MOTHER, she was weak and in tears. It's really crazy how they also take advantage of the situation. They scare you into feeling totally helpless and then make you pay for assistance like showing you where and how to go about the cash payments under panic. It's a total shame when innocent lifes are lost as a result. Just a shame Guyz. |
Ma Guy, feel free to understand the relationship u share with your wife, ![]() like they say the husband is the head and the wife is the neck, ![]() I think u should really just stick to the Good in this ,which is the fact that "the Family" which happens to be yours had residential issues and was able to overcome it in house regardless of who financially muscled it. If u trust her (God forbid I dare say u don't) ,believe me all news and nosy comments from beyond your gates will make you laugh rather than stay worried about how it looks to others,I bet you , if they were in the same shoes, they would be proud it happened that way so bless the lord and Enjoy it.Cheers ![]() |
''To be faithful, loyal and honest'' The avg Nigerian would praise God for being able to get a visa to travel to other countries that do not have natural resource in the quantities that our country has been blessed with, these resources for crying out loud has been reaped ever since before our mothers started wiping our noses. Be certain that countries that are not blessed with the enormouse resources have managed to become goldmines today, providing Utilities for thier citizens.Utility we know may not be affordable for a single individual and for this same reason it becomes a Governments priority to put in place with laws to protect its citizenswhen it is not adequately provided. Nigerian Standards are designed in rooms to suite the powers that be and our children might just come to shoulder the same problems that we had avoided. How they handle it and what international set backs they achieve as a result is really not the propblem of our leaders right now. Our power problem is a show of the standards our leaders set for their nation and to ask for more funds really shows that there are no ideas to be presented to its citizens. We have gas flares brithening the atmosphere of our darkness ridden homes. If those flares don't go off due to gas failure, then why should we be talking about power failure. Our dams had given power to other countires it shouldn't be a problem celebrating new gas power plants for us. It beats me every time to actually see the looks on the faces of our kids when they say the Nigerian Plegde every school day, ''To be faithful, loyal and honest'' The everytime the pleagde is being said in front of our ministers and leaders, a tear is shed by a new born Nigerian Citizen. |
