Oga why not leave people try to sort out the best for themselves and mind your own success story has been narrated by you. rentAcock: Quite sad, so many people are excited to flee their motherland to help grow and build up a white man's land. It's just like what my friend used to say, 'immigration is modern day slavery except this time they do not have to forcibly chain able bodied men to slave ships or rape our women, they just make it easier for your youngest and brightest minds to simply emigrate in droves'. Who will build this country if you all leave, have you ever thought of that? You think once you run to Canada you will still have any reason to return home? How about your kids? Do you think by taking them to Nigeria for 3weeks vacation will entice them to one day relocate to their father land? Sure nobody thinks about these things. The biggest problem the black race has is selfishness while the white man thinks about the greater good of a community. Everyone only thinks about what will benefit them and their family and that's where it ends. Even in the so called abroad, your fellow Nigerian will not want to accommodate or guide you because they think you will be better than them. Common info about schools, work or getting certain government documents, your fellow Nigerian in the diaspora will not help you. White countries and white people In general are successful because they collaborate and help each other. U.S, Canada and the UK are amongst the most developed countries today due to strong trade and military alliance. A white employer will hire a fellow white man for a lucrative job position before he hires an immigrant with the same credentials.
Before anyone says I'm ranting because I was denied Visa or whatever PPR thing you guys relish here like a lottery ticket, I also used to think abroad was the be all end all after graduating from university. I also hustled and eventually left Nigeria. I made $265,000 that year working several overtime hours (I have the W-2 and tax return forms to prove it) but I was never really satisfied because this part of me kept feeling like I betrayed my country. It takes a special kind of person to self reflect and then decide to walk away from a lifestyle of adequate security, good health care system, great schools, cheap food and law & order but without any sacrifice, Nigeria will perpetually remain a 3rd world cesspool. I moved back, got a job and started a mentorship and scholarship program where we find youths whose families are unable to pay their elementary and secondary school fees and we partner with local businesses to raise funds for these kids. School isn't for everyone, we also train several kids in IT, carpentry, plumbing, construction and mini importation. Has it been easy? No. Do I sometimes miss the convenience of my 2 bedroom apartment in north Los Angeles? You bet I do. But do I feel accomplished knowing that I'm making a positive change in small ways that will alleviate poverty, possibly reduce crime and put more food on the tables of a few Nigerians? Certainly.
The UN needs to look into countries like Canada that take advantage of the dire situation in Nigeria and prowl on our brightest and youngest minds for the sole purpose of developing their country and replacing their aging workforce. Just today, their Prime minister was begging President Buhari to give him 1 million Nigerians. This just sounds like the year 1756 where the white man met with local chiefs and traded silver, mirrors and gun powder for African slaves. While I know most of you have made up your mind to flee your motherland, the least I can urge you to do is to find reputable charities and NGOs in Nigeria and donate to them once in a while. Goodluck. |

oga how many liberian have you seen hustling for the canadian pr , check the website and let me know the percentage of them. all i want to let you know is that same naija education has gotten me jobs around the world , if you think its trash you can let IRCC know of that and return back to nigeria not just because the system is not well organised does not mean it is trash. Ugosample: that does not change anything
even a Liberian from a failed uni In Liberia will get an eca
so what are we saying? |
Travel › Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant Part 2 by Anikulapu: 7:43pm On Apr 13, 2019 |
Oga I got put mouth ooo but NIGERIA EDUCATION GOT YOU PR IN CANADA... Please please and please Ugosample: I repeat the educational system is USELESS and lack merit
All what you have up there are what we call in statistics "outliers"
What is the quality of the content dished out by the joke we call schools in NIGERIA?
What of the research work?
And mind you, the educational system has been decaying for decades upon decades which means that the educational state now is worse than it was 10 years back, which in turn was worse than it was 20 years back
So calling a Soyinka or whatever invalidates your point
the few who are good from Nigeria in the real sense of it are good because of extreme personal effort, not because of what the educational system has to offer
when one id good and determined, he strives to be better That has nothing to do with the use less curriculum.
so don't mix it up, I know what I'm saying |

DonTee07: Are you sure about this? I have written ielts more than twice(I be customer dadaa) and at no point did I score less than 7.0 and I usually write between 265-275( I count them on each occasion).
NB: my handwriting is terrible. lol Oh you have written twice , I said myself and my wife wrote 9 times so who be the customer here. I once had an accident on my way for the speaking test and they allowed me even when I was late just because they recognized my face so well. Bro I also wrote on my birthday too, they sang for me. But all ended in praise. |

I only stated what worked for me. For I was so sure of what I wrote and also for my wife and her hand writing is not that good but we had to put into use what we were told which at last gave us the point we needed . When you write the exam 8 times with almost same result of 8.5,8,8,6.5 you won’t want to despise anything people with experience told you , as I earlier stated the person marks for ielts . He’s based in Canada. Bro we all will get what we desire in this journey which the PR. DonTee07: Are you sure about this? The word “it’s not true “sounds like you work for the examination body of IELTS or IRCC . From the beginning I stated it worked for me I don’t know of you. We all can only offer help with what worked for us. No one on this tread determines the outcome of anyone’s results only GOD can. I rest my case. ladymarshall: It is not true. I wrote about 320 words, collected extra sheets and got an 8. Your grammatical accuracy, structure, coherence, flow and vocabulary range are what matters. It should be the exact length (250) or lenghtier. Perhaps, they had every other points checked and were short of lenght, which would make the advice of extending the lenght to 10 more words at least relevant. I would worry more about coherence especially for task 2 and grammatical accuracy for both tasks considering the time pressure. You had an 8 before so you stand a better chance in your next (and last attempt hopefully). But get a third eye to look at your personal writing drafts, you might be surprised at the evaluation. |

250-260 not more than 260. just a hint from someone that marks ielts , he is based in canada tho. just worshiped in my church and a friend to my Pastor so we discussed my predicaments on the outcome of my wifey result. she scored 8,8,8.5,6.5 in writing 6 times . And all he told me to tell her was to reduce the words to 260 max that most markers rule out when its getting to 270 and more. this is just an advice tho, just trying to help. the wey this country is when i become PM for Canada i will allow all Nigerian free entry oo DonFreshmoney: Please do explain. Whats the +10/-10 rule? |

same as my wife and i then but when we did the +10 or - 10 it worked for us. just try it and see that rere ni oluwa . dont mind my yoruba oo according to him if it above the +10 / -10 the marker rules out the rest which might be your conclusion (.5) teeielts360: i'm sorry i don't get you. you mean task 1; 150 words(+10/-10) task 2; 250 words(+10/-10) all my writings have always been about +20 words and above. i literally count them at the end, 1 by 1. |

Thank you ...I so much appreciate. I only used the affidavit. Topsmamen: 1. Yes, merge and upload your degree certificate with the WES report. Don't forget to merge your IELTS certificate too. 2. The affidavit you got (a one and same person affidavit, I presume) is enough. 3. Writing an LOE is not compulsory. The affidavit is good enough to resolve the issue.
If you really want to include the LOE, look here for a sample format. The LOE can be uploaded in the supporting documents section.
Happy AOR in advance |

Hello people of God I need assistance like anything now. 1. Should I upload my certificates with my WES 2. After my application WES wrote that the name on my certificate is different from the name I used to apply to them , though it just a matter of “My name not well arranged “ 3. I have the affidavit to correct the mistake but I want to know if I should write LOE ? a. Should I attach the LOE to my WES when uploading or it should be in another folder b. Is there a format to write the LOE. Thanks people . As I earlier explained I have just 9 days left. |
