MinorityOpinion:Now you're been disingenuous, must you associate with every Igbo person with Kanu? doesn't that make you the bigot/tribalist you accuse me of been? |
MinorityOpinion:Are you sure you're not pained right now? ![]() |
MinorityOpinion:Maybe you need to reserve that advice for yourself my guy, I'm good here. |
MinorityOpinion:That's the point, you're such a disappointment to your parents that they deserve a refund for money unwisely spent on you. |
Where's the dividend of all the money your parents wasted sending you to school? |
Eastlink:The guy is seriously mentally unstable, I asked him to provide a source for his outlandish claims of Akamkpa conquering Arochukwu, he resorted to posting some thrash about gay porn , talk of digging your head inside sand. Signs of a conquered slave to the Fulani caliphate. |
omonnakoda:Are you okay egbon? ![]() |
omonnakoda:Egbon relax you conquered slave to the Fulani caliphate , did someone smash your girl? Why the sudden surge of hostility. Are you going to provide me with a source to your version of history or not? |
omonnakoda:Ok give me your source, I'm from Anioma so I want to learn more about my Aro brothers. |
Maadoo:We are holding it down here West of the Niger, lots of Anambra folks are also investing massively in real estate projects here in Asaba, even in places like Ibusa, Okpanam and Igbodo. But Asaba in particular is in the conversation for one of the fastest growing cities in Nigeria/Africa right now, thanks to its proximity to a commercial town hub Onitsha as well. |
omonnakoda:Aros are Igbos you dunce, Igbos enslaved and sold other Igbos and neighboring Ibibios... kini big deal? why are Yorubanzas so slow? Awolowo will be rolling in his grave for free education well wasted on his people . If you can't point out with any academic source the so called Akamkpa dynasty ruling in any part of Arochukwu past or present, then stop replying me again.Meanwhile why is Kwara still under Fulani control? Why are your people still slaves to the fura shinkafa drinking turban wearing boys from futa jallon? ![]() |
Oguta fine sha, damn! Asaba is definitely coming up as well in real estate layouts, but massive respect to my brothers in the East. Una dey try. |
omonnakoda:Ok Akamkpa defeated the Aro according your Ijebu version of history, let's take it that way if that will make you sleep well. ![]() Now answer my question, how come the entire Yoruba race can't reclaim Kwara from the minority Fulani and install an Oba? I need answers. |
valirex:Did we tell you we want to be part of any Niger delta republic? Bros abeg face your Edo matter and don't drag us into these nonsense. When the time for Anioma to form our republic comes, we know which side to join... And it's definitely the side East of the Niger where we have a common factor in culture, history and language. |
omonnakoda:First of all the Aro were NEVER ruled by any Akampka, the Aro defeated the Ibibio in the Aro-Ibibio war and used their lands as slave routes (Aro were known to be great slave traders and warriors) who born Ibibio to conquer the great Aro?. I'm not sure which Aro you are ranting about, is there another Aro in Ijebu ode we don't know about? ![]() Secondly Ibini Ukpabi was an oracle of the Aro confederacy also known as "Long juju of Arochukwu" and was an Igbo deity not Ibibio. Ibinu Ukpabi has absolutely no meaning in the Ibibio dialect, so your argument is baseless on that note alone. Lastly, why haven't the yaribas reclaimed Kwara state from their Fulani overlords till date? |
valirex:Anioma better of in which NDR? |
Awilomalogologo:Why did you switch your account? KINEMATICZ is truly your nemesis, bobo just dey b*tch slap you upandan sotey you switch account ![]() |
Ok let me make something categorical clear and concise here, Igbos DID not develop Lagos, forget the "we developed Lagos" assertions bandied about by some Igbos (it's just a way to get under the skin of the yoorobas, which seems to have worked wonders already ). The creme de la creme of the matter when all is said, claimed and done is that EVERY Nigerian along with other foreign nationals (Lebanese, Indians, Chinese, etc) all contributed to the wealth and cosmopolitan nature of what is today Lagos. The position of Lagos today is not as a result of some yorooooba ingenuity as some naive Afonja's think, otherwise we would have seen such feats been replicated in other SW states. It's a known fact based on reality on ground (forget the scam half-baked NBS stats) that outside of Lagos, the other SW states are glorified villages. Truth is the whole of Nigeria is a sh*t-hole, and we are massively undermined by terrible leadership. That's why we need to either restructure, or dissolve the country so every region can develop at its own pace. |
gidgiddy:Dude I've been observing you for a while now, and as a fellow Igbo man I have to caution you to stop been overtly EMOTIONAL, sometimes there's profound wisdom in keeping quiet and strategizing... You talk too much, na you dey bring unnecessary insults to the Igbo camp with the stupid and needless emotional-laden threads you open sometimes. For once it's already an established fact at least based on the larger scheme of things that the SE/SS political alliance along party lines remains largely unshaken. Forget the wanna-be "I'm from the SS" impostors here, we know which people are notorious for creating 20 accounts on Nairaland, just to claim they come from 1000 different ethnic groups (they are just useless, as much as they are inconsequential). No current Northern or yaribanza candidate will get more than 25% votes in the SS regions right now (maybe with the exception of Edo state of that has a considerable APC sympathy base), I dare any of them (I mean the Afonja idiots and their cronies) to name JUST one presidential candidate from the North or SW who is marketable in any of the SE/SS states, I'll be waiting. Bros leave matter for Matthias, we are strategizing on behind the scenes, and I can categorically and emphatically tell you that if power will be come to the South come 2023,it has to be an Igbo man. Whether that Igbo man is from the SE or SS is a topic for another day, but what does it really matter? It's either an Igbo man, a South Southerner with strong Igbo leanings and interest... or we will see to it that a Northerner remains in power come 2023- let heavens fall! Na we go all suffer am together. Since we're 5% and irrelevant, then we accept it, to hell with fairness and rotational principles, let's all roll our sleeve and fight in the mud together. And for the Afonja idiots, when has your region ever been politically relevant since the inception of real time POLITICS in Nigeria? You people funny die I swear . Afonja, you people have been in the hopeless doldrums of political opposition for years, aside from Buhari- which other former presidents did your "almighty" votes bring to power? Just because una manage get am right in 2015( no thanks to GEJ's fucck up and lack of political sagacity/tenacity), suddenly Afonja's have accorded themselves the undeserved title and honor of "political Maradona's" Lmaoooo GET THE FUCCK OUT HERE, get your history books out you ignorant degenerates-- the Igbos have ALWAYS been beating you politically with our votes before you managed to right your catalog of wrongs in just 2015. Let's see which SW candidate that will get any sympathy vote in the SE, SS, and the NC... your Tinubu and Osinbanjo have already been designated as failures/products of the scam APC government, and no core Northern states will vote for some "boy-boy" inexperienced Redeemed pastor, much less a Tinubu who is an expired or about to be political factor.Una eyes go clear in 2023, I badly want these to be SE vs SW battle... where we will meet at the polls and end the noise once and for all. Awon oniranu. |
KINEMATICZ:Imagine... a oil rich state for that matter oo! even Ebonyi state that receives 1/10th of the Rivers state budget looks far better in nearly all ramifications. |
If Uyo a oil rich state looks that clean and well developed by urban standards, how come Rivers looks such a mess? I almost threw up looking at those pictures for goodness sake! with all the oil money and high budget allocations, wetin Wike dey even do besides acting like the leader of a motor park agbero union? |
Cc Amarabae, Igboid You see why I proposed the idea to you and other Igbos that we get a platform for ourselves and discuss these things? I already had the audience in terms of the number of people willing to join... and even created a social group interface for the purpose. Yet una no take am seriously. A thread you created for sane minds to intelligently discuss the affairs of the Igbo nation and the pointless/continuous inclusion of none-Igbo minorities has now been hijacked by a pack of low IQ idiots with nothing tangible to offer than spam here with boring e-fights. Your thread ended up been a waste of time, hopefully una go get sense Last Last. |
Amarabae:I'm fully aware brother, no be today. As long as Enuani stay with the Igbo consciousness and promote it for all that care to see and listen... then I have no worries. Ika and Ndokwa can join their Benin brothers (as if those ones will even accept them). |
Igboid:Pazienza ogi nwe account ka? |
Beautifully written once again Oriaku, but I have my reservations about you including Anioma in the "Igbo identity crisis" shortlist. I can't speak for the other so called Igbo speaking South South ethnic nationalities, but Anioma unquestionably and unequivocally have never and will never deny our Igboness. The few among us who claim Benin heritage are so negligible that they are a fading voice already, yet they are fast been re-orientated about their Igbo identity. We have an Anioma Facebook group with lots of members... maybe you should look to join if you can to get a better perspective of things. Anioma is Igbo Igbo is Anioma. Anyi bu Otu God bless the great Igbo Nation. |
Yanmiriflathead:Learn how to talk to a lady, is this how you talk to your mother? I'm sure she raised you better than this. |

I'm not a fan of Kanu as I feel he can be a rabble-rouser sometimes, but something that he posted got me seriously thinking...until I came to the resignative conclusion that Nigerians are just a hypocritical bunch, or maybe the reality of history is lost on them. How come Igbos paid the price in blood for a coup masterminded by Nzeogwu - a man from my hometown though no less an Igbo man(yet few would argue he wasn't Igbo)... But the other coups which were ethnically motivated didn't result in the massacres of the people from the ethnic groups whose officers and men carried out the coups. Note that of all the coups carried out in Nigeria, only the Nzeogwu coup and to some extent the Orkar coup included men and officers from different ethnic groups... There were Yorubas, Middle belt, Northern and South South/SE Igbos in Nzeogwu's coup, yet Igbos had to be singled out somehow.
