Utterly brilliant idea from Nnamdi Kanu whom I've always rated as a rabble-rouser devoid of strategy and tactful planning...for once he did something I must say is VERY NECESSARY to the security blueprint of the Igbo nation... and I encourage and expect every Igbo who has the genuine interest of the Igbo nation at heart to leave aside partisanships or personal grudges and fully support this new security network.

Why do I think the establishment of the Eastern security network is a brilliant idea? well the reason isn't farfetched, the very simple reason for that lies in the name of the security outlook... the security network was code-named "Eastern security network" which doesn't and shouldn't pose any major security threat to the useless Nigerian government as opposed to "Biafran security services" which always gets the whole Nigeria on the edge of paranoia and fretful displays of needless hate and military high-handedness...whether we(Ndigbo) like it or not, the East has to be secured FAST... our state governors are as we know shamelessly pandering to the terms and conditions of Abuja; and are thus playing it "safe" while our homelands are now been threatened by these Fulani vermins who boldly occupy our farmlands and forests...so at the end someone had to take the bull by the horn and establish a Eastern security network, turns out it just had to be Kanu cause we all know he commands a huge audience of mostly fanatical listeners in the East, and IPOB is the perfect framework to launch a security movement that will look more accepting in name (at least its not a security network with Biafra as name this time) and objective (simply defend and protect the security interests of the immediate Igbo states).

Herdsmen attack two, kill prominent Oyo farmer Aborode

The killing of Aborode happened less than 24 hours after an agric stakeholder meeting held in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, in respect of the recurrent attacks by herdsmen in the area.

A source, who gave his name simply as Seyi, said, “Suspected Fulani herdsmen just killed a former house of representatives candidate on the platform of Accord Party during the 2015 general poll in Igangan, Ibarapa North West Local Council Development Authority, Dr Fatai Aborode.

“He was attacked by the hoodlums on his farm, he was macheted severally and he died while being rushed to a nearby hospital. He went to farm with one person on bike. On their way coming from the farm, they met the Fulani men. The other person escaped.”

Efforts to get the reaction of the police were abortive as calls made to the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Olugbenga Fadeyi, rang out. A text message sent to him was also not replied.

The Chief Executive Officer, Kunfayakun Green Treasures Limited, Fatai Aborode, has been reportedly killed by suspected herdsmen near his farm along Apodun village in Oyo State on Friday.

It was gathered that Aborode, a politician and prominent farmer, was killed just as he was leaving his farm around 4pm in company with his manager on a motorbike.

The manager (name not given), who was said to have escaped gunshots, reportedly ran for his life.
