icu4: Login to your e-consular, click on current services. Check if the status has changed to ‘mailed’. Yes, it has changed to “mailed” but apparently I have to submit the docs alongside the receipt which was generated when I clicked “submit by mail” but I already submitted the docs since last week. Please what do you suggest I do with the newly generated receipt? |

KaylaO: I think you’re supposed to actually click on “submit by mail” and then print out the docs they show you (your receipt, form and all the information you sent to them online). You’re supposed to also add them to your hard docs. Well that’s what I did after I read the instructions. I printed and added to my hard docs. Jesus!!! Thank you so much. I didn’t know I was supposed to click the “submit by mail”. I already sent via courier and I have been checking for updates. Now I have the receipt and I’m confused as to how to send it across😭 |

Surepointman: Good day everyone, I received a mail from the consular to submit some documents and then after I did the upload, I got another mail to submit my documents and I did that on 4th January 2024. My worries now is that the visa status is still showing SIT and this calls for concern as the purpose of my travel will soon start in few days. I am thinking of visiting the consular office in person to plead with them to speed up or possibly grant me the visa. Please for those that have applied for business visa, how long did it take for the visa to be approved from the date of document submission. Thanks for all you guys are doing here. Please when did the e consular site change to “sit” after submission. I submitted via courier same day and it’s still showing “user input needed”. This Brazil visa process is just unnecessarily complicated. With regards to your question, send an email with your details, protocol number and attach the letter showing what you are going for. |

Taal17: Kindly keep you communication with unknown people you meet online as simple as possible.
No personal identifiers Keep info shared strictly on this forum
All these talk via DM or can I contact you privately is risky cos your personal identifiers stand the risk of being used by other agents I understand your concerns but please some of us are sensible and will never do this. I have met amazing people on this platform who have been of great help in one way or the other. God bless everyone who has been helping on this platform selflessly and for those who reach out to people privately, please it is in your best interest or for others not to abuse the opportunity given to you. |

untamedd: Yes, they confirm, it's advisable to keep the money there till about a week after submission. By submission, do you mean online or courier submission, for online, I submitted since November while the courier was submitted yesterday and the statement of account reflected until yesterday that’s why I’m thinking of returning the money. |

Surepointman: Thanks for your response, I was thinking if it would be ideal for me to visit the embassy and explain to them about my situation. Since it will be an opportunity for me to talk to them one on one. What's your advice. You won’t gain entrance into the premises without an appointment. Send an email and wait for a response!! |

Surepointman: Good day all, please I need urgent help on my Brazil visa application. I contacted a Wakanow agent in November to help me with a Brazil visa for a business trip that will hold from 14 to 26 of January 2024. And this is an event I cannot miss as its very important to my company and career. The agent gave me the necessary list of requirements and account details, and I paid immediately and supplied all necessary information required. But I checked the status yesterday and it was showing *SIT*. Now I just heard that the embassy has closed for the year except for emergency cases and I am just so confused on what to do. This travel is very important that I must not miss. Please can anyone help me on what to do Send a mail to the consulate and attach a copy of the intended event and explain the urgency. If possible have the sponsor send an email to them too. |

Sincerely your application is taking a long time. Kindly find out by sending them email if they want you to support your application with another document or else love letter is waiting you. Normally your visa should be granted within a space of 9 days except if the event you are going for is two months ahead. Not anymore, I submitted before him for my husband and son and we are still waiting for mail to get an appointment date for submission. We only received a mail to update our application and application fee due to the new changes. |

Anniebam: A summit is more or less a conference so it’s the best option
It’s better you notarize the invitation letter
Lastly, appointments according to the thread is sent via email after final submission. I received an email few days after submitting my application that the visit visa category is currently on hold hence the delay in appointment(personal submission), courier might be better and faster but if you have an urgent business in Brazil you can email them with your evidence. |

lovetterrison: Abeg house make una help me check this few questions before my submission …
Firstly I will be attending a cryptocurrency summit in brazil and the organiser just allowed every attendee to digitally print out our summit visor invitation..Do i need to notarize it before submission
Second, I kindly want to ask what status of the visa should I click on while applying : is it DIGITAL NOMAD OR BUSINESS VISA OR CONFERENCE?
Thirdly, I reside in Abuja and I read through your website that applicants need to book an appointment before submission. Kindly advise if I am submitting via DHL, should I still book an appointment on e-consular? A summit is more or less a conference so it’s the best option |

Anniebam: Another question, there are no appointment dates on the website, please what can be done, secondly, can I make the visa fee payment through bank transfer instead of going to the bank? New update from Brazil Consulate, these people are doing all these to curb immigration into their country.

Anniebam: Thank you, I thought health insurance is one of the documents required for adults. Second question, one of the documents required for minors is a notarized parental authorization form, I saw some online but wanted to reconfirm from someone who has applied before, where do I get the correct authorization form? Please for family application, is it done separately, I can’t see the option of applying g together? Kindly respond |

lymelyte: please I will like for you to tell me more on Rwanda visit from SA? I am interested in embarking on a few days, maybe 1week trip. Please how much in rands did you budget.? 10-20k Rands, hotel should be around 1k-1500rands per night, food is relatively cheap and transportation too. I didn’t do a lot of sight seeing so my budget might not really work for you but make sure you go with dollars or have your card(SA) card activated for international use cos those people will charge you in dollars. |

tannystacey: These things are everywhere in Capetown, but i guess it depends on which area you are.
Anyways, try Plantain.co.za. They deliver to your doorstep. Both fresh plantains and plantain chips. Occasionally even yam if they have stock..
For potatoes, Buy Zimbabwean sweet potatoes. They ate the closest to what we have in Nigeria in terms of texture. Its mostly sold by roadside street vendors who sell veggies.
You can also visit ogaafricanmarket in Parklands. A bit expensive but you'll find anything you want most times from there.. Whoever you are, God bless you in Jesus name. I checked and I was able to get. Thank you so much.
