PassingShot: You get time. The report didn't even provide any details.
Defenders of corrupt judges and politicians will always find reasons, no matter how stupid they seem, to support their position.
Can you show us where your "only saviour" arrested Buratai on whom details were provided Thanks.

Obasanjo endorses APC moves, as party leadership visit Abeokuta 22.Dec 2013
The push by the opposition, All Progressives Congress, APC to dislodge the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP received a boost yesterday as former President Olusegun Obasanjo openly threw his weight behind the APC’s current initiatives. The APC leadership, comprising some national leaders and governors visited him Obasanjo in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital on Saturday to solicit the former president’s support for the party in the forthcoming elections. The party leaders, which started converging on Obasanjo’s Hilltop Mansion around 5:22pm, included former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the party’s Interim National Chairman, Bisi Akande; former Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari; former speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Masari; former Borno State governor, Senator Ali Modu-Sheriff; Senator Osita Isunazor; Senator Bukola Saraki and Lai Mohammed. Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa State came to the former president’s house in company with the former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commissioin, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu; the former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode and others in a convoy of three black jeeps. Other APC governors at the meeting included Rochas Okorocha (Imo), Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun), Abdulfattah Ahmed (Kwara), Rotimi Amaechi (Rivers), Rabiu Kwankwaso (Kano) and Senator Abiola Ajimobi (Oyo). The Chairman of the New PDP, Kawu Baraje led some of his members and the former Kaduna State Chairman, Yero Makama, to the meeting. Presenting the party chieftains and the APC governors to Obasanjo during the opening of the meeting, Akande said the party was in support of the former president’s 18-page letter to President Goodluck Jonathan. The APC National Leader, Tinubu who alluded to Obasanjo’s contribution to the building of the Nigerian nation, lamented that the country was divided more than ever. Apparently referring to Obasanjo’s recent letter to Jonathan, he enjoined the former president not to shy away from speaking the truth. Tinubu added that the APC had resolved to rescue Nigeria, appealing to Obasanjo to lead the mission. “You’ve come out of tribulation and held the highest position in this country. We are here because of your courage. Nobody can say he has information more than you. You have surmounted a number of crises. Nigeria is divided more than before; to realise stable Nigeria, we want to encourage you to continue to speak the truth. We’re resolved and determined to rescue Nigeria. We want you as navigator,” he said.
More than a big joke, bro. This federal administration is a big SCAM! From the packaging of their 2011 "expired" leader looter as their 2015 "only saviour"!! To the BBOG - Bring Back Our Government (to the north) project!!! It has SCAM written all over it. I pity the Buharist zombies who thought they were getting change chain.
entrepreneurmic: U NEED HELP. DID U KNOW THE COST OF THAT CAR? WHAT IS D MONTHLY SALARY OF A JUDGE? STOP SUPPORTING CORRUPTION.
Do you know if the judge has OTHER sources of income? Should Tunde Fowler of FIRS not be dealing with this by asking for the personal income TAX returns of the judge to assess whether it reflects money for such acquisition. If not, his TAX assessment can be done again and he be made to pay and SENTENCED to the maximum prison term for FALSE income declaration and TAX evasion. All that effectively and systematically done without much media paparazzi noise that yields NOTHING but excites the zombies like crazy.
rusher14: There's also the court of public opinion.
Before Sam Allardyce was relieved of his job his indiscretion was in the public space. His pride went and his fall followed.
Same with these judges.
Are your pickpockets and yahoo boys given justice in the court of public opinion? What sentence has been passed on your pickpockets and yahoo boys in this your court of public opinion? How many years in jail have they been condemned to in this your court of public opinion?
rusher14: Justice isn't only for pickpockets and Yahoo boys.[/b]
imoh070: ThankGod they don't have immunity, Buhari is really working, how will a judge say he don't receive alerts but made withdrawal,Nigeria needs reconstruction of the laws to benefit everyone, too much corruption in the judiciary,I hope tarnish the image of their posterity..God bless Nigeria
To the issue. By publicising the findings, members of the public might come to the aid of the judges if they have certain facts about the assets. On the other hand, more damning evidence may be brought to light.
They are public officers and the public deserves to know.
Justice isn't only for pickpockets and Yahoo boys.
Is justice done:

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in collaboration with all Nigerian Banks has introduced the Bank Verification Number (BVN) as a unique identification number for all Bank customers. CBN have advised Bank customers in Lagos to enroll and obtain their BVN. This exercise has gone live in selected Bank branches in Lagos. This is the first phase of the countrywide roll out. In view of this, all Nigerian Banks have their headquarter servers configured, deployed and tested, and their staff trained in preparation for the enrolment and verification of end users who are all Bank customers.
The Bank Verification Number (BVN) gives each Bank customer a unique identity across the Nigerian Banking industry. This can be used for easy identification and verification of Bank customers. The BVN initiative is part of the overall policy of the financial inclusion policy of the Financial Sector Strategy (FSS) agenda of ensuring Nigeria becomes one of the top 20 largest economies in the world by 2020.
The Enrollment Process: Commenting on the enrollment process, the Managing Director of NIBSS, who doubles as the Head of the BVN Project Management team, Mr. Ade Shonubi said, “the enrolment process is simple and easy”. A bank customer will be required to walk into any of the selected bank branches; fill and submit the BVN Enrolment Form; present self for data capturing (such as Fingerprint, facial Image, etc.) Thereafter, an acknowledgment slip with the transaction ID will be issued to the individual. Within 24hours the system confirms the enrollment and a unique BVN is generated. The customer will immediately receive an SMS notification with the BVN.
He further explained that in order to ensure an efficient implementation, a phased rollout approach is being adopted beginning in Lagos. Biometric data capture machines have been deployed to about 1000 bank branches in Lagos, to date over 16,000 BVNs have been issued; At full roll out, 10,000 enrolment sets will be deployed across 5,000 Bank branches nation-wide
This enrollment process is done only once and your BVN will be linked to all your Bank accounts across Nigeria Banks.
“The BVN solution is to ensure accountability, protect Bank customers’ account from unauthorized access, reduce exposure to fraud, check identity theft, enhance credit advancement to Bank customers, and also encourage financial inclusion.”
This initiative addresses issues of identity theft and ensures that your bank accounts is protected from unauthorized access,, thus reducing your exposure to fraud. This solution will promote a safe and sound financial system in Nigeria, especially as it will keep records of suspected fraudulent individuals in the banking system.
It will make life and banking operations easy for bank customers as BVN is accepted as a means of identification across all banks in Nigeria. This will improve speed of service and reduce queues in banking halls.
At the point of enrolment individuals shall be required to submit an acceptable means of identification, and update their information at the bank branch physically.
Customers of banks will be required to enroll within a fixed period after which they shall no longer be able to operate their bank accounts.
I also came back from Dubai on friday. I was there for a month. Some of the things u highlighted are correct. The problem wit dubai is if u don't hav enough money for start-up, then there is a problem. You must hav cash to pay agents for work or to do business. I got a cleaning job myself witout paying an agent wit a salary of 70k but I rejected it because I'll hav to work for long hrs, I hate stress. I connected a friend to take it. It's all about meeting the right people. We went to an area of low class people in Dubai. Deira is for the biz minded. I never went there during my stay unless I needed to buy somtin.
Na so that your friend too go dey form sey im dey for diaspora abi SMH!!!
Afam4eva: I just left Owerri a few days ago and you needed to be in Owerri to understand how bad Douglas road was with the heap of refuse couples with the bad roads.
My issue with Rochas and the Imo state government is not even just about the refuse dump because every state capital can boast of their own fair share of dirt. What pissed me off was the response of the government. it just goes to show that Rochas sees himself as a god rather than a servant of the people. How can a sitting governor state that the reason he hasn't cleared the dump was to punish the people of Owerri. Couldn't he have lied like other politicians? Do people like Rochas think they will be relevant in the political circles forever.
Since most of us are 200 million mumus praising the governors for doing a FRACTION of the work that should normally be done by LGAs that we have allowed them to make non-existent, why would he and the 35 others not behave like tin gods
Teewhy2: Government of the day isn't referring to the state government alone, it involves the local government as well
Did you forget what you posted yourself or you want to change your mind now?
Teewhy2: The say cleanliness is next to holiness, am disappointed in the government of the state, how will a father say because his child didn't do his will, he will allow the child to live in a dumb site.
Castroii: bro this is 21st century and i believe buhari should work with wisdom especially in a country like Nigeria where u dont just wake up and start fighting corruption, but one problem with Buhari is that he is not intellectually flexible, evrything must not be approached in a linear direction ........ GEJ said that u fight coruption by building institutions that will prevent corrupt practices, using technology and innovations and believe me thats the best way to tackle corruption in Nigeria. lemme refer you to what GEJ did in tackling corruption in the agricultural sector by developing the E-wallet system to prevent politicians from hijacking fertilizers meant for farmers http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/08/how-jonathan-stopped-politicians-from-hijacking-farmers-subsidized-fertilizers-adesina/. Buhari has been tackling corruption for the past 15 months and i am yet to see any positive effects,
When Jonathan said that many of the educated illiterate zombies derided him. Today they are praising the BVN he introduced for the arrest by DSS before they started investigations. Who does that except incurable, irredeemable HYPOCRITES

kingthreat: The major reasons why the Igbos had no empire and they sold their brothers most as slaves.
Yorubas sold MORE slaves than any tribe in Nigeria. You can cross check that before you embarrass yourself next time. That was partly why we had so many wars for slave raiding.
PassingShot: They introduced the very corruption that's holding Africa back through their numerous divide and rule tactics. They did more damage than good.
Why did they not "introduce the very corruption" to Singapore, India, Malaysia and even the CURRENTLY almighty America? A mentally LAZY man/people will always BLAME his/their tools rather work hard in a consistently smart manner to make needed SACRIFICE for their own advancement, starting with EDUCATION for everyone at all costs. No food for lazy man is what even the Bible said, not so
Kenai: Local Government structures don't exist in Imo State anymore, as Rochas dissolved all the offices of the Local Government chairmen and councillors the second he became governor in 2011. He has refused to conduct elections ever since, and has concentrated all powers to his office, concurrently diverting all LG funds and allocations directly to his table for quick looting.
I imagine that is the case and is not different from the other 35 states. That is where the PEOPLE come in to put pressure on these leaders looters to do the right thing of conducting transparent elections at the LGAs regularly instead of praising, adoring and hailing them anyhow for some paparazzi photos of driving each other on roads that they have not maintained.
PassingShot: Democracy is not suitable for Africa. It has made things worse, much worse.
There are many countries doing very great without democracy. Why must we practice what is alien to us? See what the most expensive form of government has done to our dear nation! Corruption, division, hatred, bigotry, deceit, killing and maiming all because of political positions.
Na God go punish the colonial masters. Dem for leave us to our varous traditional monarchical systems. We will have found our ways to greatness naturally.
Why did you not list the "many countries doing very great without democracy"? Why not list them Fear dey catch you sey your LIE would be exposed? How many Nigerians fleeing our country are heading to these your "many countries doing very great without democracy"? What %? Are you like what Buhari called the citizens he swore to defend in 1984- "senseless, useless, undisciplined" The military dictator continues to TRASH us and call us names despite his RESPONSIBILITY to make our country better. If you are that way, kindly do NOT assume that every Nigerian is like YOU please.
FYI, the Oyo empire was democratic with the Oyomesis capable of doing worse than impeach the Alaafin by presenting him an empty calabash signifying a vote of NO confidence by the people whom the Oyomesi represent and the Alaafin should commit suicide. There are other intricacies that clearly demonstrate our unique way of selecting and validating those to represent us from Olori Ebis to the Chiefs. If you don't know, please find out and stop misleading people anyhow.
omooba969: I will rather blame the citizenry who turned a public place to a dumping site.
Dirty m0rons!
As for APC & PDP, keep fooling gullible Nigerians ok...continue.
Before you start blaming the public anyhow, please tell us what arrangements the LGA made to collect the refuse in a particular place or the bins that the LGA provided for this purpose. Thanks.
