DEROX: You should know the evil people who killed akintola on 15 January 1966
I know the evil people who did not allow the most senior Army officer after Ironsi to be made Head of State after the July 1966 coup. They sent him to London instead as Ambassador to die there shortly after. The same evil people who used Yorubas to kill millions of Igbos during the three years of civil war, after luring Awolowo to their side, but made sure he never became president of their Fulani Republic of Naijeriya, FRN. Surely, I know these evil people. Do you also know them

Just the normal lies of the winchious broom-carrying coven dwellers of the Association of Past/Present Criminals, APC since inception and from the top to the lowest level. Is Alhaji LIE Mohammed not their former spokesman and misinformation minister
Luckydubby7: . Mr. Instigator go and instigate it nah.
The devilish coven dwellers of the Association of Past/Present Criminals, APC are capable of sacrificing anyone and anything for the ambition of the wannabe godfather trying desperately to impose his acid-throwing cultist and thief to replicate what TheifNuibu is doing to Lagosians. If the fake pastor Iya mumu could throw acid on students when there was not much at stake, how easily will he arrange the sacrifice of a few people to become governor and resume the looting he did with Igbinedion?
RuudVanNisteroy: Adams Oshiomhole told the world that Ize Iyamu was a cultist who was rusticated after he deformed another student by pouring acid on him and also a thief who looted the state dry when he was Secretary to the State Government, under convicted thief Lucky Igbinedion.

He also agreed to being expelled from the university before being accepted back after two years to complete his school as lawyer.

Nigeria’s unemployment rate has more than tripled in the last five years—and it will only get worse
One in every two Nigerians in the country’s labor force is either unemployed or underemployed.
That grim stat was one of the key highlights of the latest unemployment report published by Nigeria’s Bureau of Statistics, which shows the most recent data as of Q2 2020.
While Nigeria’s unemployment rate has climbed to 27.1% (up from 23.1% in Q3 2018, when the unemployment report was last published), the country’s underemployment rate—which reflects those working less than 40 hours a week, or in jobs that underutilize a person’s skills, time, or education—has increased to 28.6%.
With a labor force of 80.2 million, that means about 21.7 million Nigerians are unemployed, a figure that exceeds the population of 35 of Africa’s 54 countries. Among young Nigerians aged between 25 and 34, the largest bloc of the labor force, the unemployment rate currently stands even higher, at 30.7%.
The report is particularly damning for the administration of Nigeria’s president Muhammadu Buhari, which has struggled to deliver economic policies to drive growth and create jobs. The unemployment rate has more than tripled since Buhari first took office in May 2015.
The hausas have monopolized our oil first dangote and now this? They successful frustrated others out of this. A wealthy urhobo dude wanted to go into a Jv to set up a refinery in Delta state but the Hausa cabals frustrated him and oh the guy is dead now.

comos: The Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Idris, on Friday justified the arrest of only suspects of Yoruba extraction over the recent clash in Ile-Ife, Osun State, which resulted in the death of about 46 persons. He said crime neither has tribe nor identity.
Idris spoke with State House correspondents shortly after briefing President Muhammadu Buhari of security situations in parts of the country inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The police had been in the eye of the storm for arresting and parading 20 Yoruba persons, including a monarch, over the clash while not a single Hausa/Fulani person was detained.
The pan-Yoruba group, Afenifere; and the Oodua Peoples Congress are among groups and individuals that have been criticising the police over the development.
Idris however said the police would not hesitate to apply the law once criminal cases are established against individuals, irrespective of their tribe.
He said, “You know we are police officers. Crime has no tribe. If you are a criminal, you are a criminal.
“Crime has no face. We don’t look at crime in the identity of where you are coming from.
“As far as you are a criminal and the police find you wanting, we apply the law.”
He said investigation had revealed that the crisis started with a disagreement between two people selling food along the road.

citizenisb: Former President Olusegun Obasanjo says President Muhammadu Buhari may not do well in economy and foreign affairs, except in military matters.
“Buhari is not a very hot person on the economy and foreign affairs,” Obasanjo said.
The former President stated this on Monday at the third International Conference on African Development Issues — themed, “Driving inclusive and sustainable development in Africa: Models, methods and policies” — organised by Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State.
While reacting to a question posed to him by a member of the audience: “Is there any hope for Nigeria under the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari?”, Obasanjo replied, “Is there any hope for Nigeria under this administration? I came back from Geneva, Switzerland a few days ago to attend a conference titled, ‘Are elections giving democracy a bad name?’ We had an election, we elected a leader and the good thing about democracy is that the power you have to elect a leader is also the power you have to remove him. I am saying this because I said earlier that if you don’t see any leader that has done well in the 56 years of Nigeria’s independence, then let us forget about Nigeria.
“I will tell you what I know and I will tell you what I don’t know. I know Gen. Muhammadu Buhari. He served under me in the military. His characteristics that I know, his behaviour that I know, he has not deviated from them. He was never a perfect man, he is not a perfect man and no leader can ever be a perfect man because they are human beings. But if you read my book, what I said about him is correct. He is not a hot person when it comes to economy. He is not a very hot person when it comes to foreign affairs. But he will do well in matters of military and he will do well in fighting Boko Haram.”
THE controversy trailing the aborted establishment of RUGA settlements for Fulani herders in parts of the country may be far from over.
Senate Chief Whip, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, on Friday said that the apprehension being expressed over the plan by the Federal Government to create Fulani settlements for herders under the acronym name of RUGA was misplaced.
He told reporters in Abuja that he established a successful RUGA settlement in Abia State when he was governor of the state in 2001.
The controversial cattle market, he said, is located in Lokpanta, Umunneochi Local Government Area, along Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway.

While that is likely true, but when they receive money directly from the people instead of the Abuja almajiri monthly begging bowl allocation, they are more probably going to work better for the people. Not unlike what we had in the 1st Republic before Nzeogwu's juvenile misadventure opened the floodgate for other coups and Ironsi's Unification Decree 34 killed off any fiscal autonomy of the regions. Have you noticed that states were only created by northern military governments since 1966? The south cannot continue generating the money for the northern parasites to share and spend anyhow. That has to stop. And stop quickly if we are to survive together in any form or shape. How much embezzlement do you have with community funds at the village level for projects

shariff84: We’ve paid some Fulani to stop killings in Southern Kaduna – El-Rufai DECEMBER 3, 2016
Kaduna State Governor Mallam Nasir el-Rufai has said his government has traced some violent, aggrieved Fulani to their countries and paid them to stop the killings of Southern Kaduna natives and the destruction of their communities saying that the renewed violence is carried out by bandits.
El-Rufai made this known while fielding questions from some select Journalists in his office in Kaduna.
He said: “For southern Kaduna, we didn’t understand what was going on and we decided to set up a committee under Gen. Martin Luther Agwai (rtd) to find out what was going on there. What was established was that the root of the problem has a history starting from the 2011 post election violence.
“Fulani herdsmen from across Africa bring their cattle down towards Middle Belt and Southern Nigeria. The moment the rains starts around March, April, they start moving them up to go back to their various communities and countries.
“Unfortunately, it was when they were moving up with their cattle across Southern Kaduna that the elections of 2011 took place and the crisis trapped some of them.
“Some of them were from Niger, Cameroon, Chad, Mali and Senegal. Fulanis are in 14 African countries and they traverse this country with the cattle.

First there are no juicy positions in Barawo Bubu's government, since he SAYS that he is fighting corruption. Secondly, there is the reality of political support and reward even in your LGA and state, so deal with it.

He needs to save money for the next kerosene distribution.
Igboblog: 2019 : I Weep For Abians By Wisdom Nwedene (Must Read)
Written by Wisdom Nwedene
Yesterday, pictures of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu branded Tanker distributing free kerosene to people at Umunkpeyi and other locations circulated the social media space.
Many people were seen struggling to get the free kerosene from the tanker.
I was shocked and wept bitterly when I saw the pictures because this is no longer the Abia State I know before.
From Ikpeazu's moves by sharing free kerosene and money to Abians few days to Governorship election, it is crystal clear that he is aware that he has failed the people who entrusted him with power.
I also heard that Ikpeazu said that the dark days are over for the civil servants in Abia State and donated 10 million naira to them.
My question to the civil servants is, will Ikpeazu 10 million naira solve the pains and problems you have been through in the last three and half years?
Let me quickly recall that in the last three and half years, almost all the civil servants in every sector protested over non payments of their salaries.
Let me do flashback, in 2018, the staff of Abia State owned University teaching hospital, Aba protested and cursed Ikpeazu over non-payment of their 9months salary.
The demonstration was staged Inside the premises of the hospital.
Also, in terms of infrastructure, Ikpeazu has not done well.
Let me also draw your mind to the Osisoma Flyover being constructed by Ikpeazu for over three years now.
Despite his promise that the flyover will be completed in January 2019, the truth is that the project has been abandoned.
When it comes to good road, hospital, empowering the farmers, Ikpeazu has not delivered also.
I don't know any reason a true Abia State born should want Ikpeazu to return to the Government House when he has failed to deliver half of the promises he made in 2015.
If you come to Ebonyi State, you will see what Umahi did in terms of infrastructure . He built many flyovers, good roads and empowered farmers. That's what I expected Ikpeazu to do.
Let me make it clear that I'm not from Abia State and didn't receive a dime to pen down this article but as a journalist, I know it is imperative to speak against evils, injustice, hunger, etc when I see them.

He won't swallow any bitter pill as KNOWS that he and his fellow own the Fulani Republic of Naijeriya, FRN and that they are the ones who ruin the Fulani Government of Naijeriya, FGN. There are too many FFK, Kalus, Tinubus, Sylvas, Akpabios to betray the southern cause until they are pushed to the wall like Ortom by the suffering and cries of the people.
