CCTV footage from the hotel shows her going to use the stairs in the hotel before changing her mind and deciding to use the elevator. As she steps through the open elevator doors, unaware that it is faulty, she's seen falling into the gaping hole to her death.

A group, Centre for Africa Liberation and Socio-Economic Rights, sponsored by Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, has asked Amnesty International to leave Nigeria within seven days.

“For Nigeria to rebuild, Amnesty International must be out of the way. CALSER, therefore, gives Amnesty International a seven-day ultimatum to leave Nigeria. The NGO’s failure to leave Nigeria will attract civil disobedience at its offices in Abuja and Lagos on a scale that will make the campaign of looting and arson it facilitated appear like child’s play.

“Its staffers will be treated the same way that innocent policemen lynched by mobs were treated,” Princess Ajibola, convener of CASLER, said during a press briefing on Wednesday.

The group’s threat followed revelations by Amnesty International that at least 10 persons demanding an end to police brutality in the country were killed by the Nigerian Army during the shooting of peaceful protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate area of Lagos on October 20.

The incident sparked global outrage with thugs using the opportunity to vandalise and destroy public facilities including police stations and bus parks across the country.

According to a source in the military, one Philip Agbese from Benue State is the leader of the Centre for Africa Liberation and Socio-Economic Rights and all other groups used for such sinister purposes by Buratai and other government officials.

“All the groups and NGOs are fake, they are being funded by Buratai. They were all founded by one Philip Agbese, an indigene of Benue State.

“He created all groups and NGOs supporting the military, about 10 of them. They have media houses too and have made plenty of money from Buratai,” the source said.

Under Buratai’s watch, the Nigerian Army has failed to safeguard much of the country’s territory especially in the North-East, leaving bandits and Boko Haram terrorists to run riot on civilian targets and military bases.

Calls to President Muhammadu Buhari by Nigerians to sack the country’s service chiefs including Buratai for the rising insecurity in the society have been met with silence as the military heads have continued to keep their positions despite changes needed.

Police has arrested a Nigerian woman, Oge Florence for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend, also a Nigerian, to death during a heated argument in India.

It was gathered that the incident happened on Sunday, October 25, at their home in New Delhi.

The victim identified has been identified as Obinna from hails from Uli in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Confirmng the incident, a source said the couple had a heated argument which led Oge stabbed him in the chest with a knife.

A friend of the deceased Don Mikky shared videos from the scene showing the suspect being led away by the police, adding that he had repeatedly warned Obinna to focus on making money instead of love.

"Obinna see what you did to yourself I personal told you that this is india we came here to fine money not to fine love if is true that this girl is the one that killed you that means you are a fool you did not do like real Uli son from Ihiala L. G. A. Shame to you wherever you are I will stop here" he wrote

Uche Elendu had shared videos of her store vandalized by looters and actress Doris Ogala reacted by claiming Uche Elendu was showing off other people's looted stores as hers just to chase clout. Doris warned Uche to come clean else she would expose her.
