Why are Nigerians quick to think of how criminals will use the innovation when a 'new' innovation comes? Sometimes, these thoughts create more fear than the actual proactive thinking it is intended to do.

A man and his team member once submitted a form for a call for ideas at a hackathon, attended the hackathon and secured the second place position. Seun Onigbinde and Joseph Agunbiade started BudgIT a couple of months later and citizen participation in the Nigerian Government has not been the same since then.
