This is a welcome development. They've been fighting BH with bare hands, now that they're empowered they should do much better.

The Parish Priest of Catholic Church of the
Annunciation, Ori-Oke, Ejigbo Lagos, Rev. Fr. Paschal Aggrey, has admonished the youths to be of good characters for the development of the nation.

Speaking during the investiture and commissioning of Block Rosary Crusade Brigade of Guard at the Church on Sunday, the Priest said it was necessary for the youths to belong to a particular society in the church in order for them to be able to work for development of the church and in extension the nation as a whole.

According to him, the society would train the youths on good characters which are needed for the building of a peaceful society devoid of youth’s restlessness.

Explaining the roles of the decorated youths in force uniform, the Priest said each society in the church must be given different identities for their roles.

He explained that the youths under the Block Rosary Crusade Brigade of Guard were differentiated with uniform because they were the ones to keep orderliness in the church by controlling movements and ushering people into their various places.

He however advised the parents to encourage their children to join the society for their benefits while warning the invested children to do away with any character that could tarnish their image and that of the church.

The Rev. Father used the opportunity to
appreciate those who participated in the last Harvest ceremony especially the Harvest Committee for the commitment towards the success of the event.
