alberto2k:Lmao@ bolded. Na resolution b dat? ![]() |
While growing up, I discovered it was a tradition among many people to make new year resolutions. What I did not know initially (until later) was that these resolutions hardly lasted beyond January, in fact, for many, it only worked for the first week of the year. I have made many resolutions which did not see the light of day *covers face*...don't look at me jor, u nko? ![]() I stopped making resolutions when I agreed with the song writer who said "My best resolves I only break"... Quite true and thoughtful. I ceased to make a tradition of new year resolutions every January 1st. But there are those who keep to this age-long tradition. So if you do, lets hear you, and how far have you been able to keep to your resolutions?? ![]() ![]() ![]() |
@Mannylex, You're also serving in Ikorodu? Wow, would be lovely to meet you. My school is in Igbogbo, Adla Kef Int'l College. What 'bout you? |
Niwdog:Same here. No apps can be installed on it, not even my UC browser or even whatsapp. Even the apps I had downloaded before are all wiped out. So bad ![]() ![]() |
Reminiscing about the first inspirational talk we had in camp, where we learnt about the Emotional Bank Account, or EBA. Anytime you meet a person, your face and name registers in their personal EBA. We can create EBAs in the hearts of people we come across and either make deposits or withdrawals from it. It's important to maintain and increase the credit column in the hearts of people we relate with, rather than deplet or withdraw from the EBA we have in their hearts. Work towards building high credit EBAs in the hearts of your employers, collegues, acquaintances and as many people as possible. You never know when it would come in handy. And so the year is wrapping up, what are your expectations for the year ahead? Don't be carried away by celebrations to enter into the new year unprepared. 2015 promises a lot, don't be left out. Merry Yuletide Season Y'all! |
Drakula:Na Ikorodu o, a private secondary school. But they have accomodation sha, and the pay is quite ok. Resumption na 5th of January, so if I complete my reg I fit enter house latest weekend. |
Jenyunwojo how far? Drakula how far? Hope you guys enjoyed camp? I'm in Lagos now o, sorting out PPA things and trying to adjust to Lagos life. Hmmm, not easy. By the way, I'm residing in NCCF family house at Agbado Ijaiye for the main time. Hope to see you guys soon. N.B Jenyu, I kept trying your line in camp but it wasn't going through... |
Choi! Lagos life for the first time in my life. Not used to it ![]() I feel sleepy in this bus already. Make dem no go loss me sha ![]() |
And now... Counting minutes to leave this place. It's been all good. I appreciate EVERYTHING I encountered (even the 'not so pleasant' ones). Hehehe, I remember the night we were dragged outside the hostel by camp commandant around 12 am saying someone had defecated on the bathroom floor Some of us stubbornly stayed indoors saying our room was not involved. Meeeen, na so camp commandant take enter room come catch us Oboyyy, d man say he go decamp all of us wey no come outside o ![]() So many wonderful experiences. So many awful ones too. All in all, thank God for keeping us through it all... |
sunky2sweet:Am in Iseyin too, and I don't really think so. The little challenges is as a result of the fact that we're camping away from Lagos. I expect you to understand that. It sure can never be as if we're camping in our state of deployment. To be candidly honest, I think they really tried. At least, they ain't owing you no more. I hope you're happy you're almost leaving now? |
Don't know why my pix refused to upload ![]() |
