RomanceRe: Nigerian Men Abroad Prefer Marrying From Home? - Why? by anwunta: 7:30pm On Dec 02, 2013
GustavoFring: The wife should be submissive to the husband.

MUST in fact.

Otherwise lack of respect comes in.
We guys are quick to quote the 'submissive' part of the bible, but forget to quote the full verse of the particular scripture. What happened to the second part that said "husbands love your wife and do not be bitter towards them"?. If you love and care about your woman immensely, she will naturally submit to you without anyone saying it. And remember, the submission is to HUSBANDS not tyrant or bullies. Like sexkillz said, some of these men want a tame woman that they can bully around and it's not right. If you can't care and love your wife very well, don't expect her to submit and respect you. Respect is reciprocal my brother

@OP, another reason is culture. Culture matters a lot and some people wants to imbibe such cultures into their kids and who's to do better than a nigerian woman?. Also forget all the thousand threads created to talk about the faults of nigerian women(they have their faults), the truth is no place like home. If you get a good nigerian woman as a wife, my brother, you have gotten a good thing cool

dommfa: Mr ochon aka anwuta.. cheesy..I don't have a prob with you and your recaps, never had. I don't even have a problem with facts, and all other forms of jokes. If you (and the other guys who have interfered) failed to get the picture, sorry I can't help you. Girls and guys flirt jokingly online, and then just like bar gists about girls, one of the guys says he does the flirting just for doing sake and the other says the same and adds he realises some even use it to boost their ego. And then one female moniker is dissected and etc etc...

Ochon, I know a joke when I see one. No one can play on my intelligence... Peace wink
Lol. I now understand you. I know you are opinionated sha. I'm glad you didn't take my recaps serious. Well, I would've really love to resolve the issue but I didn't read any of the chats so I can't really judge. I can't side with any parties publicly on this issue cos I don't really read the modified posts. But please let's kiss and make up before this issue kills this thread.sadsadcry. Let's not use this issue and stop the harmless flirts or chit-chats please sad

Erm, SOM, why didn't you add 'KING' before the ochon or anwuta? undecided. I'm a KINg goddamit, show me my royal respect tongue

Oya, kiss my royal LIPS ring so that I can forgive you for this grave mistake grin

When are you coing back?. And what of your crush jovianated? shockedshocked grin
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by anwunta: 1:28pm On Dec 02, 2013
I wish I saw the modified posts, I'd have been able to chip in my take on this. Too bad I didn't, so I can't judge who's right or not. Or try to correct any misconceptions. sad. Please both parties should call a truce and let things go back to the way it used to be. sad

I'm not a pessimist or harbinger but I can foresee the 'beefs' about to spring up cos of this early morning chats. I hope this won't lead to the natural death of this thread sad
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by anwunta: 1:08pm On Dec 02, 2013
Kslib, don't stop your "fact joke-list", it's nothing serious. It keeps the thread bubbling. It's fun, don't stop please

dommfa: such a shame reading all of this, both modified and unmodified posts..thought some of us even referred to ourselves as fam, e-friends, etc and things were never that serious, but apparently some digest everything that happens in here hook line and sinker... totally disappointed in some of the statements. i'm sure some even believed i skyped with reinc or went on a real date with wild child...

Again, with me, its never that serious...#justfortherecords...
Doomfa, erm, I no know wetin happen between peasant reinc and LIPsy grin, that made you angry, but I will speak for myself when I say, all I do here is joke. I knew you're joking when you said you skyped with that useless peasant called reincarnated. And I believe that we all knew you were joking about your date with wildchild. You are not in even naija now so you couldn't have possibly go on a date with wildchild. And I see no bad thing in going on a date with any threadmate. We all are humans. The same people you meet offline is the same you meet online. If I had the chance to go on a date with any lady here or meet any guy on this thread, I'd grab it with both of my hands. So please don't take it too serious. I'd love to meet you someday if I make it to the west and I see no bad thing in it. We're one big E-family.

@all, we're joking with all this our "zoned", "flirting" and other stuffs. That's what we do to keep this thread going and interact with one other, please don't read unnecessary meanings into it. And hey, if you wanna meet any of our lovley E-family offline, feel free to do so. It's no crime. If you wanna date anyone here, feel free too. We're not some aliens, we're humans.

GH^KWAME:
hmmmm!
I agree with @peasant reincarnated. You took it way too personal with njokusboy and being a fellow threadmate of yours, I think you should have given him a benefit of doubt before attacking him.

To add to what reinc said, I feel you shouldn't fight all the time that ghana names are being mentioned. The poster of the thread is joker and you know it. For example, I'm an igbo guy, through and through and following the antecedents on NL, where igbos and yorubas fight all the time, you should have wondered why I don't indulge in such frivolities. I find them petty dissing yorubas or yorubas dissing us cos I don't see any reason to. I'm proud of being an igbo and nothing anyone say will change it. When I see such threads, I ignore and move on. I think you should do the same, fighting all over the threads that has ghana name being dissed or talked about, doesn't make you a good patriot. Nigeria and ghana are both imperfect countries still struggling, dissing each other is not the way out but rather working towards getting our countries out their to be in the position of the developed world powers like USA and co should be our target. I understand you feel the need to defend your country but in the njokus' case, you went too far calling him a "stwepid boy". He meant no harm in his first attack. So chill a bit, don't fight all the time, learn to ignore some bullshît, it works wink

Anyways, where did you keep our THE AMAKA? sadsadsad
