A mother of three, Jenel Pollydore, has died after she was shot multiple times by her ex boyfriend identified as Shaka Phillips.

The 26-year-old who is a Wismar Nursery School was shot at a wedding reception in the presence of several persons. Shaka Phillips fled the scene. Pollydore whose youngest child is three months old, is said to have had an active restraining order against Phillips.

Police statement said;

“Police are investigating the Murder of Jenel Pollydore, a 26-year-old Teacher from Lower Kara Kara, Linden, allegedly by the 21-year-old father of her three mont old child, Shaka Vaughn Phillips, of Amelia’s Ward, Linden, which occurred at about 21:20hrs yesterday (Saturday) at R & R Hotel located in Central Amelia’s Ward.

“Enquiries disclosed that the victim and suspect were ‘living together’ and they have one child together. Due to constant physical abuse, the female teacher separated from the suspect, and it is alleged that she obtained a Restraining Order to this effect.

“According to the woman’s sister, Malika Pollydore, they were at a wedding reception at the R&R Hotel. Malika said her sister (now deceased) was standing by the gate in front of the hotel when the suspect approached her and asked why she was not answering her phone. An argument ensued between them, and the suspect took out a handgun and discharged a round at her.

“Pollydore then ran into the hotel by the pool area, and the suspect chased behind her and discharged two more rounds at her. He then ran out of the hotel and escaped in an unknown direction.

“The woman fell to the ground and became motionless, and the police were summoned. On arrival, the Police saw the body on the ground, motionless. The body was examined, and two gunshot wounds were seen.

“Two 9mm spent shells were found at the scene. The body was removed and escorted to the Linden Hospital Complex, where it was pronounced dead on arrival by a doctor on duty.

“Police are looking for the suspect as investigations continue.”

Young woman from Benue state has been killed and her body dumped by the road side in Abuja, the federal capital territory.

Trendibase gathered that her body was found dumped on Abubakar street, Off Alex Ekwueme street in Jabi-Abuja.

A source familiar with the victim stated that the deceased is from Ekaida, Agatu Local Government Area of Benue State.

The source further stated that the young woman fall into the evil hands of one chance yesterday.

The source identified as Comrade Adanu Andrew said;

“The girl is our Daughter from Ekaida, Agatu local government, She was returning from work and was picked by one chance yesterday.

A brutal fight between a man and his girlfriend ended badly as both of them were left with severe injuries in Onitsha, Anambra state.

A video sighted by Trendibase.com show how the love birds were lying helplessly on the floor covered in blood.

In the video, the man’s penis was cut off while his girlfriend was in deep pains from stab wounds inflicted upon her by the boyfriend.

Those familiar with the incident stated that the man was high on drugs when he got into a fight with the girlfriend.

The sources said that the man cut off his own penis before stabbing his girlfriend with a knife.

The source added that the fight started when the man accused his girlfriend of cheating on him, and out of range, he cut off his own penis and stabbed his girlfriend.

Unknown gunmen lunched an attack on Ekwulobia and Oko in Anambra state.

Eyewitnesses told Trendibase that the unidentified Gunmen stormed the areas and killed no fewer than two persons.

The eyewitness further stated that one of the victims was inside his Keke trying to move, when they killed him immediately.

The other person was inside his shop when the gunmen attacked and killed him, the eyewitness continued.

TrendiBase also learn that the gunmen burnt a sienna vehicle belonging to AVG and the attack lasted not less than 30 minutes.

No fewer than 20 soldiers were killed in the early hours of Tuesday during a fierce attack by armed bandits.

Trendibase gathered that the massacre happened when the armed men lunched an attack on a military camp near Bangi, in Mariga Local Government Area of Niger State.

A source revealed that the the bandits who were heavily armed overrun the camp and killed the 20 soldiers after a sustained gun battle.

young Keta Business School student has been found dead after meeting with boyfriend in Ghana.

The young lady, according to eyewitness, travelled to visit her boyfriend during school vacation but failed to return alive.

The eyewitness told Trendibase that the deceased Keta Business School student went from Keta to Wejia, Accra, but met her untimely demise after falling into a manhole.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear, but according to the boyfriend, he was at work when someone informed him that his visitor had been found dead in the manhole.

It was gathered that the Ghana Fire Service has since retrieved the body.

A man lost his life in a very controversial way in a hotel room in Mpape, Abuja.

the man identified as Louis Nwachukwu was found Lifeless After he allegedly lodged in the hotel with a lady.

The deceased who is believed to be a staff of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), is believed to have died during sexual activity with the lady identified as Helen Raymond.

Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers reportedly shot and killed no fewer than seven people in Anambra state.

It was gathered that the gunmen lunched the attack on Oko polytechnic, killing four people and many others injured.

The Anambra Police spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga said in a statement;

“ANAMBRA POLICE TAKES OVER THE SCENE OF A CULT- RELATED SHOOTING AT OKO EVEN AS THE SAD INCIDENT RECORDS THE DEATH OF TWO, ALLEGED ABDUCTION OF TWO OTHERS AND ANOTHER TWO RESCUED PEOPLE INCLUDING A LADY THAT ARE CURRENTLY IN THE HOSPITAL RECEIVING TREATMENT

“Police Operatives are already acting on necessary information from some eyewitnesses for the possible arrest of the armed hoodlums

“The Police Operatives led by the Area Commander Aguata, complemented by the Joint Security Force comprising the Army, Navy, Civil Defence and Vigilante Operatives have taken over the scene of an alleged cult related shooting by 8.40pm on 19th June, 2025 at the Total Junction and Tipper junction all in Oko, Orumba North Local Government Area. Two victims including a lady who is currently receiving treatment in a hospital were rescued. Sadly, the incident recorded the death of two persons and the alleged abduction of two others.

“An eyewitness account revealed that the armed criminals operating with a motorcycle and a black Lexus 350 SUV without a plate number, started shooting indiscriminately at the Total junction. Four persons were allegedly wounded including a lady that is currently receiving treatment at the hospital. The two others were allegedly abducted at the Tipper junction before they fled the scene.

“Meanwhile, the Command has sued for calm as the Operatives are already acting on some clues from the scene and leveraging on necessary information from some eyewitnesses for the possible arrest of the hoodlums.

“Further developments would be communicated, please.“

Unknown gunmen suspected to be fulani herdsmen have killed a Catholic priest in Benue state.

The catholic clergy who is an indigenous Catholic Priest of Tyoshin and current Priest in Charge of St. Theresa’s Catholic Parish Jimba was today shot and killed at the spot along Makurdi – Naka road.

Trendiwiki learned that the priest identified as Rev. Fr. Solomon Atongu, was killed while returning to his duty station.

It is reported that, the Rev. Fr. Solomon Atongu, was in company of two occupants, whose identities are yet known.
