Residents of Nanka were thrown in shock after they witnessed a broad day murder of two men.

Trendiwiki learned that an armed gunmen suspected to be assassins attacked a vehicle and killed a man and his friend.

In the incident that happened on Thursday, the assassins who were on motorcycle blocked and killed the victims while they were driving in a Toyota Corolla vehicle.

The victims were later identified as Barr Rolex Ifeanyi Iloakasia, the PG of Agulueri Autonomous Community and the other victim was his client.

Rolex Ifeanyi Iloakasia was in court with his client in the morning but were killed moment later after they were trailed from the court after a court session

According to a source identified as Iyke Orji, the case he was handling for the client was a very big case.

Sources told trendiwiki that the incident happened at a boundary between Nanka and Agulu, along the popular Amawbia-Agulu-Nanka-Ekwulobia-Uga-Akokwa road.

The source further reveal that the assassins first shot and killed their target before killing the victim’s client who came out of the car and was running for safety.

The assassins immediately left the scene of the incident. The police is yet to issue official statement concerning the incident.

Residents of Lamu wake up to a distressing incident after a boyfriend allegedly shot dead a woman and her baby.

Trendiwiki gathered that the woman identified as Sheila Mokaya was killed by her lover alongside her 5-year-old daughter after an heated argument.

The boyfriend, who is a officer with the Kenyan police open fire on the deceased who is a teacher at Mukunguni Junior School, and her daughter in the early hours of Sunday, killing them at the spot.

Eyewitnesses told trendiwiki that the GSU officer turned the gun of himself after committing the act. The officer also killed himself at the spot, making it a murder suicide situation.

Although the motive behind the murder-suicide cannot be ascertained but the Kenyan police said they have lunched an investigation into the issue and will issue a statement at the appropriate time.

Unknown gunmen attack a bar in Makurdi, the Benue state capital in the late hours of today, 27 March 2025.

Wikigists gathered that the gunmen killed no fewer than seven people after they approached the bar and opened fire on some group of people.

A source stated that the ugly incident happened near OxNet Water factory Akpehe, Wurukum in Makurdi.

An eyewitness stated:

“I boarded a Keke today bw 7 and 8 pm at Wurukum Makurdi and as we neared OxNet Water factory Akpehe we heard some gun shut in the street, just close to our Keke. People started running Helter skelter. We urged the driver to speed up. Then as we left OxNet the driver pointed to one of the guys running.

“See blood at his back!,” he shouted. The guy was in some red boxer shorts and a white t-shirt. Running ahead, the shut guy branched off right and continued running. We sped off and headed towards Tyohon and to International Market. The Keke driver told us some cult war was probably on or some bad politics was off among the youth especially APC youth.

According to him a youth close to one Hwande a senatorial aspirant was earlier shut and slaughtered in Makurdi and eyebrows were raised at either cultists or political thugs. The earlier killed youth was said to be a Wurukum Market task force chairman and likely to be named next Zone B’s youth leader of APC.. The Keke driver said rumours were that more killings may occur in Wurukum before and after burial of the slain youth.”

A woman identified as Maline Olivia LaCruz has been shot dead by estranged husband identified as Ramzan Ramdial.

Wikigists learned that Malone LaCruz was shot dead alongside her mother, Waveney LaCruz and sister Sueann LaCruz.

The ugly incident took place Wednesday night along the Linden/Soesdyke highway in Guyana. Ceon LaCruz, Waveney’s son and the brother of the girls, was also wounded. He was rushed to the hospital.

Wikigists also learned that Maline Olivia LaCruz took to social media sometime ago to indicate that she was living with her partner for 6 years and 7 months until she decided to walk away owing to abuse.

The young mother of two accused her partner of abusing her mentally, emotionally and physically:

“At this point this is my last option to get help and to get out of this abusive relationship and to get my children away from him”, she wrote.

A pastor with Nongu U Kristu hen Tiv, NKST, and his wife were shot dead by unknown gunmen in Benue state.

The pastor identified as Rev B.T Iorngaghem was pastoring with Zum Kelase U Gyenku when the gunmen cut his life short.

Wikigists learn that the incident happened in Sankera, Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State.

Another person identified as Thomas Tertindi Amuda Kachii, was also gunned down by the militia.

Eyewitnesses who were familiar with the incident stated that the young man was killed by “Government UCHA” a militia in Mbatyu, Lumbuv, Ucha, in the same Ukum LGA.

The young man was killed in his father’s compound in the early hours of today.

It was gathered that the deceased is the son of Zaki Amuda, the kindred head of Mbatyu.

At the time of this report, security operatives are yet to release a statement regarding the incident.

Many casualties were recorded after gunmen lunched an attack on travelers in Delta state community.

A lady who shared a video from the incident said the gunmen, suspected to be herdsmen, kidnapped many people and also killed two children.

The lady who was en route Abraka to Benin City captured a bloodied man and many other injured victims on camera.

“Our driver noticed that something was wrong, so he quickly reversed back”, the lady shared the experience, stating that two children were killed in the incident.

Three passengers were injured after a U.S. citizen allegedly hijacked a small plane at knifepoint in Belize on Thursday, police said.

Akinyela Sawa Taylor, a U.S. citizen, hijacked a Tropic Air Belize plane with 13 other passengers on board, officials said.

Police received information the plane was hijacked by a passenger on board shortly before takeoff. Taylor wanted to be taken out of the country and demanded more fuel for the plane, police said.

The hijacker was fatally shot in the chest by a passenger who had a licensed firearm, police said.

The aircraft, which was circling, almost ran out of fuel by the time it landed, police said.

Three passengers, all from Belize, were injured with knife wounds. The flight had 14 passengers total on board, including two Americans, police said.

Police were in contact with a passenger on the plane who was sending updates via text, officials said.

It is not yet clear how the hijacker was able to get on the plane with a knife, police said.

In a statement on Thursday, Tropic Air Belize CEO Maximillian Greif called the the pilot's actions "nothing short of heroic" and said it is offering "all available support" to the injured passengers.

"Our pilots undergo rigorous training to respond effectively and efficiently to any situation, and today we pause to recognize the bravery, skill and leadership that brought our aircraft home safely," Greif said.

The U.S. Embassy has been contacted and will help the police with the investigation.

State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce said during a press briefing Thursday she did not have much to offer yet on the hijacking, but the agency was following the incident as it was unfolding.

"We are grateful -- I think all of us are -- that that did not turn into a mass casualty event with, I believe over a dozen people on the plane," Bruce said.

The suspect was refused entry to the country over the weekend and officials are investigating how he was able to get in, according to police.

Residents of a Akwa Ibom community wake up to a disturbing sight after they discovered a lifeless body of a young woman.

Wikigists learned that the lifeless body was found along Uso, Udoma area of Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital.

The residents of the area could not authoritatively tell how the deceased body came to be in the area.

However, many residents felt that she might be a victim of ritual killings but there was no deep wounds was found on her body.

The body has been evacuated from the area while investigation has been launched.

A young man lost his life to Jungle justice in Makurdi, the Benue state capital after he was caught for stealing motorcycle.

Wikigists learned that the deceased snatched motorcycle from an Okada rider in the early hours of today but was unlucky as he couldn’t get away.

Residents of the area who were alarmed by the motorcycle snatching incident tracked down the suspect and made him pay for his crime.

The angry mob bounced on him, put tyre around his neck, pour fuel and lite him on fire immediately.

A Kenyan pastor spark outrage after he slapped a church member during church service.

The pastor identified as Ng’ang’a walk to the young man when he discovered he was sleeping in church. The pastor slaps the church member severally and orders him to go and sit at the back.

In the video sighted by wikigists, the pastor also threatened to kick the lady out of the front seat asking her why she let the guy next to her sleep and not wake him up.

Members of public and community leaders have asked the Director of Criminal Investigations to arrest and charge the pastor with a criminal offense.
