PhonesRe: Do You Like The Porsche Designed Blackberry? by apach4ever(m): 12:33pm On Feb 03, 2012
I understand its a bold 5 with an ugly exterior. Why anyone would pay $2,300 for this is beyond me.
PoliticsRe: Gowon Regrets Creating States, Says It Promotes Divisions by apach4ever(m): 9:54pm On Dec 02, 2011
A point many 'informed' commentators here miss is that the fact that Gowon is from Plateau State doesn't mean he's Berom. He's not! so the so called justice by the Hausa/Fulani against his kins men is nothing but nonsense. By the way I'm neither Berom neither am I Angas (Gowon's tribe) but I do live and work in Plateau State and I'm really tired of this attempt to portray the Jos crisis as the hand of Karma on the decisions made nearly 50 years ago by a man not much older then than I am now.

Sounds cool but already have 2 email accounts on my current package and to chose between the 2 wouldnt be too easy. Plus only 200mb is just plain mean! They might as well have removed access to d app world.

BusinessRe: How Do I Report ATM Fraud To Central Bank Of Nigeria? by apach4ever(m): 10:28am On Aug 04, 2011
Eemah:
Yes I agree wit U, most especially Intercontinental Bank plc, they are the worst of all the criminals, when they steal your money via ATM, they dnt look back
Really? And did you fill a ATM complaint form at one of their branches or did you just go home and mope about your "stolen" money.

Even reciting the Alphabet can be tough if you're not well prepared. Just know all there is to know about the post you applied for and you should be alright. As for those not called yet, not to be negative but the invite stated that all interviews in Abj will be concluded by Monday 6pm which just passed about an hour ago.

Hi guys, was invited for an interview in Abuja on Sunday. This is 2 weeks after writing the first level assessment. Any tips on what sort of questions to expect? Especially concerned as I initially applied for Financial performance management but wrote the financial regulatory reporting test as the guy there said it's the same set of questions. Now though I've been invited for an interview on financial regulatory reporting!.Hi guys, was invited for an interview in Abuja on Sunday. This is 2 weeks after writing the first level assessment. PoliticsRe: CBN May Liquidate Some of These Banks By September: What To Do? by apach4ever(m): 5:51pm On Jun 08, 2011
It's a very expensive game of chicken that our dear CBN governor is playing with the shareholders of these "troubled" banks. I've never for once believed that someone with such loose lips should manage an institution as sensitive as the CBN, but at the same time the shareholders should see reason afterall at all at all na im bad.
As for me not only do I have my money in one of the banks, I also work in one so double wahala for dead body!

BusinessRe: Ndic To Raise Guarantee Level For Depositors . by apach4ever(m): 5:49pm On Nov 19, 2010
So if you have 5Million Naira in a bank and it went down, the NDIC will pay you just that paltry sum?what will happen to your complete deposit? If you are not gonna get it back, then why saving money in the bank at all?Someone need to clarify me on this.500k compare to 5million?.

=============================================
The 500k is what NDIC will pay you based on the premiums remitted by the bank yearly. After the liquidation of the bank i.e. sale of bank assets, people with deposits higer than 500k will be credited with what is known as liquidation dividend to make up the difference.
Why save money in a bank? mobility and ease of access to your cash. You could keep your money buried in your garden but what happens when you travel and need 50k urgently? Bet you'ld wish you had an ATM card or could just walk into any "garden" and withdraw.
You could also tie it up in a life insurance policy but trust me, you don't want to go to one of those when you need your money in a hurry.
Its not a perfect system and is evolving everyday afterall it wasn't too long ago that the maximum coverage was 50k.
