Refer to an earlier post I made on this thread, on the first page. I suggested watching some Urhobo movies. If possible, get and pay an Urhobo tutor if you can afford it.

Try and learn it for the sake of your identity! Language is everything and as an Urhoboman, your language should never elude you.

Lol. Sadly, he is not alone. Many Urhobo youths barely understand the language. Speaking it is even a different thing entirely.

We are working hard to undo the damage done to us by colonialism and negative attitudes towards our language.

Unfortunately, I'm one of such youths. My parents never spoke the language to us, and we were raised in solitude. It pains me everyday that I can't speak my language, and I wish there was a way I could learn it.
