Not rural but an Old town.
This is like people who keep saying UAE or Qatar is more beautiful than the U.S..
The fact is those countries are emerging and one wouldn't expect them to build old structures but newer designs.

The day Nigeria starts investing its oil money wisely, Nigeria will shop for more advanced structures than old town countries.
The U.K, France, Belgium and many more have old structures that they regularly maintain.
