The two real reasons for election postponement

1. The last batch of 15million PVCs only arrived on 4th February and it will be unfair to hold elections 10 days after. If INEC could not do justice to 48M PVCs in 6 months how can dey do justice to 15M PVCs in 9 days?

2. The joint armed forces of Chad, Nigeria and Niger are on an offensive programme in the north east. Coincidentally the AU's decision to support coincides with the elections. Its only fair to allow the military conclude its progam now that we've got the corporation of our neighbours. Elections at the NE at this time will be a huge distraction

Strategically the APC shot themselves in the foot by making this look as if the lives of persons involved to conduct the election are not important to them.

Imagine where our combat forces are in the northeast during the elections and some political thugs unleashing mayhem on the masses because of low visibilities of military personnel in another part of the country.

I want to believe that the attack on Baga was a deliberate act from BUHARI to distract the attention of the deployment of the combat force so his friend TINUBU can carry out their plans to rig the election in the country.

If this is true, no need to postpone elections then but it obviously isn't. I watched. Professor Jega's conference live last night and he made it clear that the 6 weeks sought by security agencies was to bring Boko Haram under control. No other excuse was given for postponing the election.

To restore sufficient normalcy in the northeast before the election, meanwhile operations are going on by the joint military taskforce from our neighbouring countries

I also noticed that he Buhari also opposed the joint military success against the insurgents recently.
