Glitcher: Each Niger delta state with access to the ocean should have a seaport. The onne seaport in an inland port and has been strategically crippled to encourage importers to use the lagos port instead. Yes, the state governments and NDDC have not done enough but that is not my focus now. I am more interested in the role the FG is playing now. One of the problems with the Niger delta is that the federal government appointees who make decisions over the Niger delta region are not indigenous to the niger delta. E.g the down stream, middle stream and upstream oil sectors are being headed by northerners hence no implementation of policies that help the people. Only the government all all level benefit Look at this shameless liar @ the Bolded. Jonathan who is the biggest federal figure from Niger Delta is not indigenous to the Niger Delta, abi? You lack knowledge of what you are talking about. You are just regurgitating the nonsense your parents fed you with. Each Niger Delta State should build a seaport. Lagos did it, why can't they? |

Seaport is under Exclusive list but Lagos State Government just built one in Lekki and want to build another in Badagry. What are your brain--dead leaders waiting for? Or you applied that you want to build a seaport and the FG denied you? Your games don cast. People just laugh at you people when you say this nonsense. |

Glitcher: state governments cannot fund such projects due to the cost in relation to their allocation. In addition it is the role of FG to build seaports and roads linking states. GEJ is the closest Nigeria has had to a non tribalistic president. The Niger deltan's deserve and need more. States can't fund seaport abi? Who funded the Lekki Deep Seaport? Jonathan was President and he refused to work on the East West road. Amaechi was begging him publicly, but Jonathan no gree. His MIL actually had an accident and died before he started work on it. The problem of the Niger Delta are it's own leaders. Go and look at the NDDC as an example. |

Glitcher: FG should also build functional seaports in the Niger delta. With all the wealth the oil producing communities have contributed to the nation there is still very little the government has given back to them. No good schools, no drinking water, roads or good sources of income. You don't know anything about the Niger Delta, you just want to open mouth. Rivers Port, Onne Port, Delta Port, Calabar Port. Those are the Seaorts in the Niger Delta. Jonathan was President for 6 years and his own community didn't even have drinking water. No be juju be that? What are the State Governments in Delta and Bayelsa doing? Those two are notoriously stunted in development. |

Cindypresh: What if they've few Asaba passengers? Will it be wiser taking many Anambra passengers to Asaba airport or Anambra state airport?
What if he's the only Asaba passenger?
My first time going to Lagos, I used GUO 7.30am bus, booked 1st seat but when I got there I realized there weren't many passengers on their 6:30am bus and they merged us.
They changed my 1st seat and asked me to choose another because theres someone on 6:30.
He has no excuse to talk rubbish abeg Madam, you can't compare GUO to an airline. GUO operates out of a motorpark and is not regulated by anyone. There is a level of enligthenment and regulation which air travellers are exposed to and motorpark arrangements don't have. The NCAA regulates airlines in Nigeria and what the airline did was illegal and fraudulent. I can't advertise Asba by air and then deliver you to Asaba by road. It is fraudulent. Plain and simple. I dare the airline to come out and justify this nonsense and see how people will drag them. |

hairyman: There is nothing logical about this post that appears to be your primary response.
Firstly, the airport in Anambra is about an hour to Asaba, every day and "twice on Sundays" What made rush is the man referring to exactly? What is the relationship between this mad rush and getting to Asaba from the airport.
I think that you should remove some of your post, they weren't well thought out, perhaps motivated by social media misinformation; the location of the airport is secure; the distance from the airport to Asaba is not 3-4 hours.
If you prefer to be dropped off at Benin, say so. We don't need any reasons. The ones stated are false and certainly not logical. I can't pay for a flight and they will be carrying me about in a bus. But if previously informed, I can consider it. Did the airline inform the guy that they will land in Anambra and carry him by bus to Asaba? |
