Good question. and Why aren't men as insecure?

Maybe because its a man's world, and women are raised up thinking its a priviledge to be chosen by a man. So if he doesn't approve of you- a woman's worth is diminished. If he does approve of you, then yoy are seen as valuable.

I dunno. We need a Psychologist to answer this one.

^^geez, clearly the Op is just frustrated about her unsatisfied needs and the double standards that existthat prevent her from pursuing some relief to her angst.

If she were a man- there would be little to no debate within her conscious about what her options were. But being a woman--0- everything is judged more harshly.

90% of wives will forgive/keep a cheatinh husband but I bet only
30% of men will forgive/keep a cheating wife.

EVEN if that woman does not pursue SEX- its still frowned upon for her to seek emotional satisfaction or affirming flirtations from someone else, either way--- women have it hard.
